Everything about this property is so great, from the quiet neighborhood to the kayaks to the night lights on the deck with the hot tub, the ping ping, the fire pit! All in an excellent location, beautiful Brewster. As we shared vacation pics with family and friends throughout the stay, they would comment on our awesome rental they saw in the background! Owner was so easy to communicate with, checked on us via Vrbo text at check in time, and assured us she was available for any questions. We felt like heroes when our 3 teenage sons and dog were thoroughly impressed upon arrival. From day 1 they began asking us to book the place for next year. Love love loved it!
Older home that needs some updating but clean, and spacious! Great location, easy access to bike trail and pond! Accepted dogs, which is the #1 reason we LOVED it! Nice hot tub too.
The property is wonderful (great hot tub) and the owner is very responsive and helpful. It's one of the rare occasions where the house is better in person than in the pictures.
We had a lovely stay during a February break. The house was well-stock kitchen-wise minus any towels. We knew going in that this was the case so it didn’t hinder our experience at all.
The ping pong table was a blast. The property is not particularly fancy but quite functional. Bring ALL your linens if you don’t use their linen service, we didn’t use the service.
If you want to cook there are plenty of dishes, even a couple of lobster pots which we utilized. There are only dishes in the kitchen. Bring salt/pepper/Pam spray/etc. Think ahead as we did and you’ll be fine.
Cosmetically the place could use some updates but the property owner prices this property so reasonably that I had no trouble looking past that.
The hot tub was clean and fun - make sure to turn it up on arrival - it takes a bit to get to temp.
I’d return to this listing, the neighborhood is very nice and the place has a certain charm.
This house is clean and easily fits many people of different ages comfortably. Our only surprise is that "bring your own towels and linens" meant ALL towels and linens; kitchen towels, bathmat, etc. Since half our group had been unable to come last minute, it worked out ok. But it is a lot to remember on vacation for a big group.
Such a comfortable spot for our family of 6 and our dog! Our hosts were very communicative and the home was nicer than expected! Would definitely stay there again.
This house does not disappoint, so much space so relaxing peaceful and comfortable. The home is so much bigger than the pictures show. My kids had the best time we rented for thanksgiving and had the best holiday celebrating in this beautiful home. I would love to rent again maybe come back in the summer. Thank you again!
It was a great place to stay and we loved the hot tub! A great spot for a weekend away.

Serviceable, but room for improvement
The property met our basic needs for a week vacation, but would benefit from a deep cleaning and some low-cost maintenance and improvements to fix things like difficult to close doors and a slow sink drain. The kitchen is stocked with the minimal tools needed for basic cooking, but was limiting while trying to cook dinner for 8. The yard is similarly in need of some TLC and was overgrown with weeds. The owner communicated well, and pricing was on the low end of accommodations of this size.
The house is very big and comfortable. Great private location. Kayaks are a nice touch. Comfortable mattress in the master bedroom. Lovely big terrace. Ping pong table in the basement. Lots of space and privacy.
We will come back.
The only con was that there were only bare minimum kitchen supplies available. No extras like, for example, aluminum foil. Which was rather unusual from our experience with vacation houses. Otherwise a great experience.
Overall the stay was great. The house was large and comfortable. There were just a couple of issues: more dishtowels than just 1, a light on the other side of the front deck because it was very difficult seeing when taking the dog out for the last time in the evening, much more light in the master bedroom (not enough currently for my old eyes!!)
Otherwise I am recommending this house to my friends and took a few business cards to pass out.
The place was better than I thought.
Advertisement could have been better. Sleeps 8, signed up for 6 but wanted my son to come but couldn’t unless we paid more even though it sleeps 8 (would have been 7). Other than that place was great!
A typical summer rental home meaning it serves our modest needs well, but some attention is needed. For the price I would have expected more - meaning we’ve stayed in nicer properties for the same or less price. It did the job for us but I would not rush to make this home my every year rental.
My husband and I rented this for a long weekend and it was heavenly! The views from the deck were lovely and the location was fantastic. Check-in was a breeze and everything we needed was provided right down to the ice in the freezer. I can't recommend this place enough!
Our family enjoyed the hot tub and ping-pong table along with this property’s central location to most anything Cape Cod has to offer. The property would benefit from having a few basics on hand like, shampoo, body wash/bar soaps, simple toiletries and basic kitchen cooking items like cooking spray, artificial sweeteners for coffee, and a small selection of kitchen staples like sandwich bags or tinfoil on hand as a convenience to guests. During our stay in early July, there were also a large number of ants to deal with in and around the family common areas, but the property was extremely clean and we had a very enjoyable experience in a surprisingly spacious New England home. Would definitely recommend to others wanting easy access to ponds, beaches, and good places to eat along the Cape. A must for those wanting a scenic and laid back meal with family is a restaurant in nearby Dennis called Sesuit Harbor Cafe. One other surprising thing is that most restaurants & shops only except cash… Plan on bringing plenty with you when you vacation here.
loved all this house had to offer. kids loved hot tub and ping pong table. kayaking was nice, just wish the beach area was closer. It was alot to carry the kayaks back and forth. house was a bit in need of an update, and the cleanliness wasn't where it should be. The owners were great to work with and always responded to my messages. Loved the quite neighborhood.
Had a nice relaxing weekend here. Spacious house, big deck, ping-pong table, and outdoor hot tub made for a wonderful weekend with dear friends. 🙂

Photos inaccurate
The house is in need of a lot of work- rotting wood on the outside, paint peeling on the ceilings. The pictures are not accurate. It appears from the pictures you are on the lake when in fact it’s across the street with no clear visible access. There was no extra toilet paper in the house- which I was aware we needed to replace upon check out but not there upon arrival, the shower in the master bath was extremely difficult to turn on/off, the shower in the main bathroom needed repair, the hot tub wasn’t clean upon arrival and the fire pit had no cover so all the charred wood was wet and the pit was filled with water which would have needed to be emptied and cleaned before use. Not to mention there was no wood available to use. For the nightly fee I felt it wasn’t worth the $$ and wish I had chosen a different place to stay. Pick another place.
Renting this property was a dream. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! The house was fun and close by to all local attractions, stores, and restaurants. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We don’t have enough great things to say about our experience renting this home.
This house is great. Awesome location, beautiful views, the hot tub was awesome and the house feels spacious! Jo-Anne was a great host and very communicative!
