About this property
Birds of a Feather Victoria Honeymoon Studio Suite
537 sq. ft. private self-contained Honeymoon suite with 24/7 hot tub access - was purpose built for romance in 5-star luxury. The finest quality workmanship can be seen in every detail of this "sound-proofed" corner 270° view suite that is closest to the water and also has its own exterior entrance to ensure maximum privacy.
The center-piece of the generous bathroom is an oversize luxury claw-foot soaker tub. A custom-fitted glass shower is equipped with an oversize state-of-the-art over-size rain shower. The tile floors are heated with radiant floor heating. You may never want to leave the bathroom!
A signature king-size bed with down pillows, down duvet and feather-bed will reward you with the most comfortable sleep imaginable - we gladly switch out the feather and down when requested. A whisper-mode ceiling fan controlled by you provides constant air-circulation.
Two soft leather sofa armchairs offer comfort in front of the gas fireplace. Read your favourite book or watch your favourite show or DVD on the wide-screen Sony HDTV.
As one of our guests once said, "We live in a Postcard". Our location is spectacular and quiet. The honeymoon suite is luxuriously appointed to the very last detail. Nothing has been overlooked.
Enjoy your first cup of coffee in your PJ's on your completely private ocean front balcony. You'll be greeted by Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, swans and ducks -- preening, drinking and fishing beside our private dock where fresh-water Selleck Creek empties in to the ocean lagoon. Each spring a family of otters nests below our dock.Weekly and nightly rates
Fireplaces, heated floors, kitchenettes and private entrances all suites
Use one of our complimentary canoes, or kayaks to explore the wildlife in the lagoon. Paddle, walk, or bicycle next door to Hatley Castle - cast as Professor Xavier's school in X-Men 2 (2003) and X-Men The Last Stand (2006) - in the old growth forest on the north shore of the lagoon. While the Japanese Gardens at Butchart are beautiful you'll marvel at the Japanese Gardens next door at Hatley Castle. Paddle, beach comb, or use one of our complimentary bicycles to visit the 1850 Fort Rodd Hill and 1859 Fisgard Lighthouse - the oldest on our west coast - at the far end of the lagoon. Watch eagles, hawks and osprey pull huge salmon out of the lagoon from the luxury of your suite, or the waterfront hot tub.
No Smoking on the property. There is a bench down by the water at the end of the boat ramp where you can smoke.
