We came to town with our family and some friends for a long ski weekend. The house was very clean, well-stocked and the kids loved the hot tub. Sanjay was great to communicate with and Bettina was who met us at the property on arrival to give us a lay of the land. We had a great weekend!
This home was perfectly located for our needs. Clean and comfortable, and large enough for our group of 9. We had a great time, and will certainly stay again if we visit the Taos area in the future!
The house was perfect for our trip. Very clean, loved the decor! The location is about 30 minutes from all the ski resorts so you have options. Would definitely stay here again.
We were in town for our daughters wedding and this house enabled our family to all stay together. Beautiful area and beautiful house. Our host was very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely stay again
The home was beautiful! Gorgeous views, fully equipped, beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the outdoor seating, hot tub, and sitting around the fire under the stars. The location was prefect, close to town but quiet and peaceful! Highly recommended!!
Everything about this house was perfect for our family! We have 3 children born in 2020 and this house provided a space for all of them. There were 2 pack-and-plays, 2 booster seats, a high chair, a huge tub with a window in which they all bathed together, a great backyard for them to play and a central staircase that they could run their circuits around, as they do 😉 And for the hard-boarding adults, the hot tub was truly welcome! Thank you Sanjay and Bettina!!
The location was wonderful for activities in Taos and surrounding area. The hosts were lovely and greeted us with local salsa and other snacks. The house was spacious with room to spread out that was welcome. Plenty of outdoor space as well. The steps leading to upstairs bedroom would be a challenge for some to navigate (narrow and steep) so just a heads up on that but easily managed. The upstairs deck was a nice bonus for stargazing. The hot tub felt like a drawback showing age and wear. We ended up not using it. Overall, a great place with wonderful hosts.
The house is well-appointed with a cool, funky layout and incredible views of the Sangre de Christo Mountains and the Taos Plateau. My friends and I very much enjoyed our stay!

Taos Ski Trip
Our stay went well. After we booked, it was difficult to get quick communication from the homeowner, but during our stay it was constant; which was great. The house was nice and just like the photos. It was about a 30 minute drive from the ski resort, but there is plenty to do in town. As for the stay as a whole, we all had a great time. The hot tub was a nice touch.
This house was great, very spacious. A nice country home located close to all sorts of fun stuff. Lots of room on the ground floor and a large living area upstairs with three bedrooms. The stairs are challenging, almost like climbing a ladder. Host and manager were very quick to respond to our questions. Overall a very nice experience!

Hospitality???
The size of the house was great. 5 couples, five bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Clean and well stocked. Decent location for the activities planned.
First issue encountered was access. This was the first property that required a tour by an assistant. Have always received a text/email day before or morning of with code for door or lock box. Had to estimate our time of arrival for the tour. One of the couples contacted property owner around 3pm to see about getting into house between 4-4:30. Three more couples showed up around 5pm with groceries. Mind you, we had been traveling 2500 miles by planes and cars for 14hrs. The assistant showed up after 5pm and proceeded to sit in her car. We had unloaded our luggage and groceries to the patio by the door and just wanted to get stuff in fridge. Finally someone had to go out to driveway and get her attention to let us into house. She came out of car complaining that we could only park in area that held four cars. We had carefully opened a gate and parked one vehicle on interior drive. 5 couples, 5 cars. We were then told we were not supposed to be there until 5:30pm, website states check in between 4-4:30. She then gathered all of us by door to instruct us on how to push buttons to open lock. We had to note code in our phones. Once entering the house she informed us she would be giving all of us a tour. We sent one couple on tour and the rest of us moved luggage to rooms and groceries to fridge, which she just turned up the temperature on. We all were polite, but declined to all take the tour.
We asked about air conditioning. It was 84 outside and it felt like 95 inside. She said air was only upstairs, but had never had a complaint She said there were fans for downstairs. Found one ceiling fan in master, was afraid it might fall. There was one small window in kitchen and one in guest bed. One door had a screen that didn't work, so we chose to open doors and deal with flies and moths to try can cool downstairs after dark. Purchased fans at Walmart. Upstairs was fine.
Received a condescending email from the owner stating we were too metropolitan to appreciate the assistants tour. So, rude city folk. This email with input only from his assistant.
DON"T expect water in the morning. After one shower the taps run dry. Irrigation runs at 6am and it depletes the well. Will look for other property for future trips.
The house is not only beautiful but very comfortable and roomy. We were able to spread out and each have our own room. The upstairs living area and balcony were lovely. We loved the staircase and mosaic on the 2nd floor! The property has a beautiful view!!!! We enjoyed cooking and eating outside and having our coffee on the patio each morning. Will definately return!!!!
We had a wonderful time skiing at Sipapu in New Mexico and staying at Blue Bird Farm. It was about a 30 minute scenic drive to the ski resort. The house had plenty of space inside and outside and was nicely decorated. We enjoyed using the hot tub and the campfire outside for smores. We didn’t realize the owner wanted to meet and greet us in person upon arrival and had a hard time coordinating a time because we arrived late on the day of check-in and left to ski the next morning. The house is beautiful and we would go back and stay there again. There isn’t a lot to do in this neighborhood and the area seemed a little run down but the house itself is lovely. We had a nice dinner in town at the Love Apple and recommend this restaurant for local, organic food.
If you are looking for an VRBO home that is perfect in everyway, look no further. Sanjay, the owner, from beginning to end was responsive, courteous, and helpful. Upon our arrival was a clean organized home with fresh flowers, fruits, and snacks. The home is very spacious and comfortable with several rooms. No hesitation about whether we would stay here again. Our whole family throughly enjoyed this cozy and exquisite VRBO!
Blue Bird Farm was perfect for our two families (one with small children, one with young adults). Little kids could hang out upstairs while big kids could hang out downstairs; all enjoyed the hot tub. Sanjay was very easy to communicate and coordinate with. House was clean, homey, and comfortable, only about 30 min from Taos Ski Valley via paved roads--easy drive--and just under into Taos for grocery store. Had an excellent stay. Thank you!
Sanjay's house was absolutely gorgeous. His house manager Bettina was so sweet and easy to communicate if we needed anything or had questions! We got there earlier than anticipated and there was no issue getting into the property - Bettina soon met us with fresh fruit, a local magazine and flowers! The rooms and beds slept us all very comfortably. The kitchen had everything we needed. It's a quick and very easy drive up to the mountain (30 minutes). The only negative we had was the hot tub wasn't working properly and we couldn't get it to heat up hot enough to get in. BUT the scenery and the home itself were absolutely perfect ~ we will be back! Thanks Sanjay & Bettina so much ~ you made our stay lovely & memorable!
We had a wonderful time at this property. The kids had a blast playing in the fresh snow and we enjoyed being close to town and all of the ski resorts while still having some privacy and seclusion. If you are tall, going up and down the stairs is a little interesting, but for kids, it was no problem. We especially enjoyed the hot tub with great views of the mountain.
