Nature abounds at this peaceful cottage for one or two. If you're looking just to get away from it all, write the Great American Novel, or kick back and relax, this is the perfect place for you! Sit by the campfire, enjoy the deck or on those cooler nights, light a fire in the fireplace and get cozy. Cottage has been completely renovated and redone from head to toe. Perfect for one or two or a couple with a baby. King size bed in bedroom with a back wall of windows that overlook the rear yard and woods on an acre of land. About 10 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, which is filled with quaint shops and delightful restaurants.
For you safety we do have one security camera located on property. Camera facing entrance to the driveway.
Garage on property is not part of rental agreement.

Beautiful Cottage

Very cute and cozy cottage. Very close to all the towns in Door County. We loved the property and loved Wisconsin. Very friendly people in Wisconsin, the absolute definition of the midwest and what it stands for. Would stay again at this cottage in a heartbeat.

Quiet get away

This property is away from the hustle and bustle of Door County. It was extremely quiet and secluded, and just minutes from Sturgeon Bay. The bed was super comfy— it was a great get away.

Quaint and Cozy Weekend Getaway

Stayed for 4 nights and it was amazing! Perfect size for a getaway in a quiet part of town but still very close to everything Door County has to offer. The owners were very responsive and our stay was very clean and welcoming. We will miss it!

Had a wonderful time!

We love quiet places surrounded by trees, so this cottage just outside of Sturgeon Bay was a perfect fit for what we look for in a vacation destination. The bungalow was just the right size for 2 people, the mattress was wonderfully comfortable, the kitchen was easy to navigate, the back deck was a great place to hang out... in all, the experience exceeded the cottage's description. We'll be returning to this one, no doubt.

Quiet, Out of the way stay for Two

We were on our Honeymoon and this lovely cottage was perfect for us. Even though it feels like it's out of the way, it's only 10 minutes from Sturgeon Bay, so it's a great location!

Fabulous

We have stayed here before several times. It has always been wonderful. Plan to come again next year. But maybe in the summer so we can see the lavender farm on Washington Island in bloom.

The little house was perfect for our stay. Love the wallpaper. Had almost everything we needed … no corkscrew for a bottle of wine… whaaat!? Otherwise no complaints.

Perfect lake cottage getaway! We saw some complaints about the lack of cell coverage, yet we came for exactly that. Maybe the tv works, never even thought of turning it on. We loved this cottage. The sky views of the stars outside by a fire were beautiful. Hope to return again soon!

Perfect getaway spot

Secluded location, but only a 10 min drive into town, this place made a perfect base for spending a week in Door County. The cottage is comfortable and completely updated, large bed and sectional for relaxing and recharging. Great communication from the hosts, the cottage is east to find and access. Wi-Fi seems to be added recently, I would not rely on this however, so either have your online planning done beforehand, or do it closer to town. You should be here to unplug anyway :) Would recommend and would stay again.

Always a Wonderful Place

Everyone always loves to go to Door County and we love to visit Sturgeon Bay! This is a wonderful little cottage, the WiFi signal helped my iMessage texts come in better but I actually missed not having WiFi as on our visit last year. We don’t always need to be “connected”. Loved the new couch it’s so cozy. Great little place, highly recommend!!

Delightful Hideaway

This property was wonderful. A fantastic base of operations for our daily excursions into northern Door County. We cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen, relaxed by the firepit, & got some our best sleep in months on the comfiest of beds. Thank you for hosting us. We will be back soon!

We have spent our lives vacationing in Door County and our families go back generations there. We bought a cabin there for ourselves and liked the area so much that we decided to invest in it. We fell in love with this property and since we have expanding family---grandchildren---we needed another place to fit all of us. Unfortunately, we can't use this place all the time, and that's why we're sharing it!

Why they chose this property

It's a beauty. Door County aka the Cape Cod of the Midwest, is filled with places that are busy and also places that are not. This is a place that is for relaxing! You can get away from all the noise and hustle and bustle and kick back and enjoy yourself. It's fun to see the attractions Door County has to offer but it's also great to get away from it all once you've seen and done enough. That's what we love about it.

What makes this property unique

This home was moved from town to our site and the minute we saw it we knew it had good bones but that it just needed some TLC. I love the little front porch that is surrounded by windows and of course the best part is the bedroom, with five foot windows that open up to the fabulous back yard. Lots of fresh air!
