Direct Ocean Chateau By The Sea

Welcome to our beautiful ocean facing condo! We hope you will find our home to be the answer to your stress-free visit to Beautiful Cocoa Beach! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Our unit measures 900 sq ft and sports a stunning view of the the Atlantic Ocean and the World Famous Cocoa Beach Pier!

Make sure to checkout the rooftop for viewing rocket launches and sunrises on the Atlantic. Turn your chair around and enjoy sunsets on the Banana River!

The living room has a 55" flat screen TV and coastal themed furniture. There is seating for 4 at the dining table, along with 3 barstools at the kitchen counter.

The master bedroom has a comfy king size bed with 25" flat screen TV. The private bath has a tub/shower combo.

The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin size beds with TV. The 2nd bathroom has a shower. (The repairs from the shower have been completed)

The best part of our stay was the location and pool area. The condo itself needs some work. When we arrived, we noticed the balcony slider door didn’t lock and called Kings Rental immediately. We were there for 10 days and no one showed up to fix it. We found a crutch in the closet and used that to keep door secure. That closet was so full off just stuff, you couldn’t open it as the door didn’t stay on track so no where to hang any clothes in that closet. Also in guest room, TV didn’t work, mattresses slid off the beds and the toilet only flushed if you lifted the bowl lid. The fan in living room didn’t work. The pantry door in kitchen is off track. The master bedroom was great size but mattress needs replaced. Also the tub drains very slow. Like I said, it was great location, was able to watch a couple of launches from the roof but the unit needs to be better taken care of.

We’ve stayed at the chateau on many occasions and this was not our favorite rental. A few things not advertised accurately, furniture in living room dirty and no beach towels. Overall the cleanliness did not meet our standards especially for what you are charged for this service. You get a stunning view and easy access to food and shopping. We won’t be staying here again but made the best of it.

Cocoa beach is great place for families to vacation, the condo needs some repair, the balcony has a hole in the floor and the sliding glass door has no locking latch. The condo was lacking dish wash towels. Other than that the condo was exceptible.

We didn’t realize the office was so far from the property and got dropped off by Uber at the property early. Called the office and within about 30 minutes someone came with the key for us, which is very nice. Also, we left very early in the AM and were allowed to leave keys in the unit as opposed to walking to the office in the dark. Thank you!!! My only suggestions: have a dust pan for sweeping and fix the balcony sliding door—only a herculean effort can open and close it.

Seriously, no microwave really limits the usefulness of the place, no heating up coffee or doggy bags from the restaurants, etc. First place I've ever stayed at that didn't have one. And fix the locks please.

Beautiful location
Great place to visit and stay. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Beach is wonderful, pool is nice and the entire experience was amazing. Wonderful spot to visit. The rooftop deck was wonderful to watch sunrise and sunset.

very disappointing
the location of tve rental is great. the pool was hreat. however the unit advertises 2 bed 2 bath pool hot tub, there was no hot tub. the small bedroom with a bath had a non working toilet, the main bedroom tv did not work, the main bedroom bath had a clogged bath tub/ shower,. the front room light did not work. no response back from management to fix tge problems. i woukd never go here sgain and there was bugs and ants on tbe kitchen counter she did send someone to address the non working toilet. they filled the tsnk with a bucket of water. never fixed or responded back any more after tgst. stay away.

Close to the ocean!
The condo was clean and offered beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrella. The property was one of the closest walking distance to the beach and pier. Even though the decor was dated it wasn't important. It was perfect for our needs. Thank you!verclea dated.

Uncleaned room upon arrival, communication terrible
When we arrived Sunday afternoon, was able to pull up to management office and retrieve our keys and parking passes. Got to condo and loaded up cart, up to 2nd floor, in to condo. Had a heavy grease smell and I stepped into the kitchen to find a layer of grease on the stove. Walked into bedrooms and all the linens were piled on the floor. Cockroaches in the sink and around the stove. Called the after hours number I was given and got a quick callback. Cleaner arrived in 15 minutes. While the rest of the family went out to enjoy the pool and beach, I stayed at the condo since all of our belongings were in a pile. Was told by the gentleman that I talked to from the after hours call that management would contact me on Monday. I dindt hear anything from them, so I drove over and talked to them about my concerns. They said they would talk to owners about a discount (waive cleaning fee) and would contact me that afternoon. As of this writing I still haven't heard from them- however I did get a credit for the cleaning fee show up on my vrbo notifications. Not pleased with the management. Condo, pool, beach was great when the weather allowed. I dont think they spray for bugs every week like the paperwork states.

The condo is not in great shape, plastic on the ceiling in the bathroom. Dusty, dirty couches. Smells dirty, and moldy. Patio door does not lock. Master bed is awful to sleep on, outlets don’t work. Wish I could post pictures! I got sick from the mold and had to leave early. Great location, nice pool, and outside area.

Bugs and terrible maintenance
This location was awesome but the quality of the condo is below par. No beach chairs,Broken umbrellas , and the cleanliness and bug control was not up to par. We did not expect luxury for the price but the roaches were ridiculous and I got ate up in bed by something. The twin beds wore out so 3 inch cut out foam on top made extremely uncomfortable and shower tore up with a midship repair and leak not fixed. There are similar properties for a little more in much better condition. It kind of made me sad for my family. I can handle wear but just not kept well. Again, The location is perfect and has massive potential. I usually give the benefit of the doubt but after calling after hours maintenance about roaches I received no response. The management company apologized with sorry we are thinking of getting rid of these owners! Weird!

Great Condo with Perfect View
The property & location was perfect! Condominium was very clean, well kept & had all lots of things to do. The bathrooms near the pool were nice to have & were very clean each visit. The grounds were beautiful & organized. Rooftop patio was great for sunrise/ sunsets! The condo has a great view to the pool & ocean. Was stocked with umbrellas, beach toys, boogie boards & pool noodles. The kitchen had all utensils needed for making meals, just missing a toaster. We cooked & ate in most nights, the grills & picnic tables were nice to have. They even have a green egg at the grilling area if you want to smoke something. The condo it’s self is not updated, fancy or new, but every worked & was clean upon arrival. Nicer in person than the pictures show. The twin bathroom was undergoing repairs, but my kids didn’t mind the plastic covered ceiling. I was a little nervous because of the previous reviews, but we had an awesome trip & the condo worked perfectly for our vacation. Check in/ out was smooth. We would stay here again!

There are many things you need to address at your condo. You did tell me about the ceiling in the small bedroom. The musty smell is really bad. The toilet in the other bath keeps running if you don’t jiggle the handle. There are two lights out in the bigger bedroom. We could not open the dryer door, there are three pieces on top. You stated there would be one roll of toilet paper in each bath, there was less than half in each bath. We called the rental agency the day after we got there-I think her name was Ashley-there was no toaster-she said someone would bring us one-never happened.

Thanksgiving family visit
The unit was filthy. Sheets were unwashed, counters and floors dirty. Hair. Strong musty odor. Poor housekeeping and upkeep. No reply from owner although management did answer all calls. Nice location and property but the lack of cleanliness ruined the experience.

Why they chose this property

We brought our family to Cocoa Beach for a summer getaway one year and fell in love with the Atlantic Ocean - and decided it was the perfect vacation spot for our growing family! We purchased our first condo in 2010 and decided to rent it out when we weren't staying there. Now as our family is getting larger, we've added the 2nd condo!

What makes this property unique

First and foremost, we chose this property because of it's beautiful location and proximity to the Ocean. There's nothing like being lulled to sleep by the melodic sounds of ocean waves! The added benefit of rocket launches, the Cocoa Beach Pier, Port Canaveral and Ron Jon's are just the icing on the cake!
