Home features include 2,782+ finished sq ft, 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, an open main floor great room with expansive bay views, two story cathedral ceilings, gas fireplace, main floor master bedroom suite with a walk-in tiled shower and walk-in closet, hardwood and ceramic tile flooring, granite kitchen and bath countertops, finished walkout lower level, and a 2 car attached garage! The exterior enjoys multilevel waterside decks, sandy beach area, and fenced 1425 sq ft sport/basketball court.

Our vacation rental is conveniently located just a short drive from the charming town of Suttons Bay, where you'll find quaint shops, delicious restaurants, and stunning waterfront parks. Explore the area's rich cultural heritage at nearby museums and art galleries, or embark on a scenic drive along the Leelanau Peninsula Wine Trail. Wonderful home

We’ve stayed at a lot of homes but this house was the most well stocked home we have ever rented. Then cleanliness was also far and above the best ever.

Terrific Place

Great location in a quiet neighborhood, right on the water with extensive outdoor options including a very nice dock. House is well maintained and nicely stocked, including the kitchen. Air conditioning and laundry work well. Plenty of space - all around a beautiful property. The property manager (Cayman) communicates well before, at check-in, and after and is easy to work with.

Clean, fun and relaxing

The pictures don't do this property justice. It's a great house - it was clean and had all we needed for the week. There was between 4-5 adults and we enjoyed the sport court! The kayaks were wonderful to use - didn't try paddle boards since water was cold. Only thing missing was a lounge chair but the hammock was comfortable too. The location was handy to cideries, Traverse City etc. Great place!

Our best family vacation

This home was everything we had hoped for and more. We had a full range of ages from 7 to 75. All of us were constantly in motion - on the water, in the water (a little chilly), playing badminton, tennis, and shooting hoops, or in the basement with the wonderful pinball machine. We adults were also able to take some time to relax on the deck while keeping an eye on everyone else. The home had all of the extras that we are used to at home - little things that make a difference like good shower heads, plush towels, good pots and pans, steak knives just to name a few. All the furnishings were top notch and the home was immaculately clean. I can not say enough about this rental. We had a glorious week.

Great place with spectacular views

We had 8 family members (3 couples & 2 single people). The house was perfect for our group and everyone was pleased with their sleeping space. Plus there was lots of room to enjoy our time together in the living room, dining room and deck. The views from the deck are spectacular and it was great to have paddle boards & kayaks to use in the water. It was a beautiful and peaceful location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! In addition, the property agent was very helpful. She answered all of our questions, offered many suggestions for restaurants & shopping, etc. She was easy to get in touch with & was very responsive.

House was perfect for our family. Adults and kids both loved the sports court. Views in morning were breathtaking. Perfect location for seeing the area. Cayman was so helpful with the house and also recommendations in the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice spot on Leelanau

This is a comfortable and well-appointed property in a quiet waterfront location that is conveniently located for recreation in the mid and northern parts of the Leelanau peninsula.

Fantastic Vacation

I cannot say enough good things about this house. The house was incredibly clean, spacious, and the back decks with the view on Sutton's Bay were simply stunning. Small details made this stay exceed our expectations - there were enough paper products which isn't always the case at rental houses (Paper towels, kleenex, etc), flashlights left in each bedroom which my kids loved playing with in their room, the use of the kayaks and paddleboards with plenty of lifejackets for all ages, the firewood in full stock for nightly bonfires overlooking the bay....I could go on and on. Our family truly enjoyed the stay, and we thank the owners and the rental manager for an absolutely wonderful vacation. If you're looking for the place to stay near Sutton's Bay, this is it. One thing you will want to bring with you is water shoes, as the water in the bay has lots of large rocks. When we stayed in August, the water was about waist high, perfect for swimming with my 2 & 4 year olds. During our time, we drove to both peninsulas, saw the Grand Traverse Lighthouse and the Old Mission, visited plenty of wineries and breweries nearby, and spent time in the nearby towns including Sleeping Bear Dunes, Sutton's Bay, Traverse City, North Port, Leland/Fishtown, and Cedar. All of these areas were 30-45 mins from the house. You will not regret your stay here, and we will certainly be back. :)

Wonderful Family Time

This is a little gem of an "up North" house. All four kids (11-17) loved all the water sports and hanging out in the very comfortable house. Great location and easy to get to Traverse City and Sleeping Bear Dunes and all the little quaint towns in between. Cayman is a fabulous manager and was very attentive to our needs. She really helped everything come together nicely. Great communication and we had everything we needed. My kids and I can't thank you enough!!

Amazing home and location!

We stay in Sutton’s Bay every summer and rent a house. This was by far our favorite. I can’t say enough about it. The location is nestled in a woody area that is quiet and easy to get to off of M-22. The home is comfortable, cozy and had everything we needed. The kayaks and pinball machine were certainly some favorites. The firepit area was perfect for our nightly bonfire and s’mores. Cayman was easy to work with and quick to respond to my questions. We will be back next summer!

Beautiful Location

Overall, the house is spacious and was plenty of room for 4 adults and 4 teenage girls. It was great to wake up to a spectacular view every morning. The location was nice because it was quiet and peaceful, but was close enough for things to do. We all loved being on the water. Would have given 5 stars overall just for the view and location alone. But the basement was musty and the whole place could use updating. There is a sign on a door in the basement to leave it open so the humidifier can work. We did that and we had a lot of rain and humidity the week we stayed and the damp and musty smell would not go away. We had 2 adults in our group sleep in the musty basement for a week. We also learned we had to space out our showers and limit our teenage daughters time in a shower or they would blow through the hot water in about 30 minutes. Less if someone was doing dishes or laundry. Cayman was very nice and very attentive. Thank you!

Great getaway on the lake!

We had a wonderful time at the lake! The house is in a great location, just a short drive from the main street in Sutton's Bay, bike trail, wineries, hiking and more. The decks were great to hang out while enjoying coffee or a meal, making s'mores in the firepit, and easy for launching the kayaks. Cayman was a wonderful host!

Perfect family getaway

This house was much better in person and the view was absolutely gorgeous. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning/cocktails in the evening on the spacious deck. Also made s'mores in the fire pit a couple of nights. The outdoor court was a bonus and we got to play pickle ball and badminton. All in all, this was the perfect getaway for our group and would love to go back next year.

Our best Michigan stay ever.

This property was absolutely the best we have stayed in. We have traveled to the Traverse City area each summer for the last 7 years. We have stayed up and down M-22 and once in Elk City (on the east side of the bay). This property was absolutely hands down the best in regards to location and value. Cayman was very accommodating and available for any issues we had (which were essentially none). The house was so very comfortable, the beds amazing, the kitchen was very well stocked and the view was incredible. We look forward to returning in the future for our annual Michigan getaway.

Such a great vacation

We've been renting houses almost yearly going back at least 10 years. This house and overall experience was the best. Communication with the property manager was amazing even before we arrive. It was the first time that a property manager met us to personally walk through the house with us and show us everything. It was a very nice start to the week. The house itself is amazing. From the moment you walk into house there are breath-taking views of the lake. The back patio was really nice. We watched a couple sunrises and a couple moonrises. It was such a great vacation. We will be renting this house again. Dave

Excellent house

We loved everything about this house and have already booked for next year. It is in a great location, well stocked, and Cayman is an excellent property manager. One thing of note, is there are 4 outdoor security cameras that are on while you are there because the owners live out of state. It's a little odd, but obviously didn't bother us enough to look for another property.

Another great getaway...

My family had a great time on Suttons Bay last week. The house had plenty of space indoors and out for all of us. Quiet when we were just hanging out and close enough to activities in the area when we wanted to go somewhere. Thanks so much for having us.

Great summer vacation home.

Great family rental! Roomy clean home with gorgeous deck, fire pit, sports court & private dock!

Bring our first visit to Northern MI from Louisville, KY, our family didn’t know what to expect for our week long vacation over 4th of July, 2019. We were blown away with this fabulous rental home right on the lake with gorgeous three story deck with private dock. There was a fire pit with built in bench seating that we used nightly for s’mores and relaxing while taking in views of the lake. There is a sports court that has a volleyball net that lowered for badminton, basketball goal and shuffleboard (all equipment provided & stored neatly in 2 car attached garage). The kids played endless hours on the court! Also, two one person kayaks are provided which the adults used as much as the kids. There is a private dock that has two jet ski hoists, stairs to lake for easy access to water and sitting area for sunbathing or fishing. The house has roomy 5 bedrooms with huge closets, plenty of drawers to unpack clothes, ceiling fans in each bedroom and 3 & 1/2 bathrooms. There are 3 large TV’s (living room, master bedroom and basement). All TV’s are smart tv’s with access to Netflix and Prime video for watching movies. The owner provided several board games, puzzles, firewood, and even provided us with ingredients for s’mores and welcome bottle of wine. There is a fireplace in main family room (we didn’t use but would be nice for rental during cooler months). The kitchen table comfortably sat 7 with three additional bar stools for sitting at kitchen counter. The basement is finished walk out with large couch for 2nd living area and office desk available for those who might need to work on vacation. Full size front loader washer and dryer in basement also. The owners provided a binder with instructions on useful info about the rental (tv operating instructions, garbage pick up, WiFi passwords, etc). Very useful! We had great communication with rental agent, Cayman, who made sure we had what we needed and answered questions to ensure we had a great vacation- which we did. The only things that I could think of that would make this home a better rental experience is having a pantry or shelves for food, improving water/ shower pressure in upstairs shower, and having dock steps secured further out towards end of dock (water level might be factor for this?). By far, one of our family’s best vacations and we will definitely be back!!
