The Royal Moana is one of the best values in Waikiki and ranks among the highest in guest satisfaction! Now you don’t have to sacrifice quality for affordability. Located at 240 Liliuokalani Ave, the Royal Moana is a few minutes walk to world class Waikiki beaches and was remodeled with the sole purpose of providing you a classy yet economical alternative to a hotel room. Ask yourself, why would I ever rent a room when I can rent a home?

As you can see in the amenities, we have gone to great lengths to make sure these condos are truly your home away from home. Ali’i Beach Rentals manages the entire property so there are 6 identical fully furnished stylish one bedroom condos and 1 classic studio available.

The sleeping arrangements are very convenient with a queen bed in the bedroom along with a trundle day bed which has two twin sized mattresses. Leave the bedroom pocket doors open for extra space or shut them for a private bedroom.

ALI'I BEACH RENTALS INCLUDE:
- Beach chairs, boogie board, and cooler
- Bed linens, bath, beach & kitchen towels
- Dishes, silverware, cookware (including tea kettle, rice cooker, blender)

A Very Good Choice To Take

Unite was lovely, and the management team was pro and acted fast if I asked them to fix something. I stayed in this building for two months and recommended this company to everyone looking for a nice place in Waikiki. The staff was very polite too.

Home away from home during externship

Reviewer Comments: Secured this rental property for our daughter who needed a place for 8+ weeks while she worked at a laser clinic during her 4th yr of Optometry school. Location is superb! 3 short blocks to walk and you are in Waikiki Beach. A block or 2 from bus line which will get you anywhere on the island. Rental unit has a full kitchen, which many others I viewed did not. Had a problem with refrigerator not cooling and maintenance was very good to remedy within the day. Location says sleeps 4, which is true with 2 on daybeds but size is more conducive to 2 people. 2 adults and 2 children would work fine too. Very pleased with our stay.

The layout of the unit is a little strange, but for the price and easy access to the beach we would rent it again. Free use of beach equipment also.

Great place to stay

We are two adults with two children under ten Pros: location was perfect. apartment was clean, kitchen fully equipped and well stocked. Would only add a steamer. Apartment was equipped with everything they promised. Easy to check in and out. Staff communicated with me quickly. There was a well stocked grocery store directly beneath our building which turned out to be the best thing about staying there. Beds were comfy. Great for a family of four. Cons: there is no elevator and it is quite a hike to get to the fourth floor. That was the worst of it. There is no lanai. Apartment seemed smaller than expected from picture. There were four of us but only two chairs as a tiny table. Table was located directly in front of air conditioner so we had to turn off air conditioning to eat. But there wasn't anywhere else to put the table. Could not figure out how to turn on TV despite the instructions. But we spent little time in the apartment so it really did not matter to us.

Great stay in a great location

We had a great time while staying at this property. It was clean as previous reviews noted. The location was in an area where the beach, shopping, rental cars, and restaurants were all very easily accessible by walking. I would note that upon our arrival we did have an issue with the air conditioner but the management group responded to email and corrected the problem. So, they were both reachable and responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Last resort option in Waikiki

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The floors were right out dirty when we first arrived. One could feel the dirt when walking barefoot and the soles of our feet were black afterwards. An apartment with 1 queen bed and 2 extra singles but a tiny table with only two seats. Even for our small family of two + 1 baby it meant that dad had to eat sitting on the floor!The cherry on the cake was the construction work starting every day at 8AM .. on a vacation property. We got an email warning about "emergency plumbing work".. Right.. emergency.. 5 days emergency? (or longer.. I think the construction went past the date we left the property). Sorry folks, we didn't buy that one.The building is overall all and shows its age. The rest of the apartment was "ok".. as in functional and no complains.. so I guess in the end it did the job in the overpriced market of Waikiki.. after all the property is in the lower end of the scala so I guess it is a case of you get what you pay for.

Inadequate air conditioning and very lacking in customer service

Even leaving the air-conditioner run all day through the day and closing all the curtains. They have one tiny little air conditioner for the four unit, they had half inch screws to hold the bathroom door on, it was off the hinges when we first arrived in in the three days they never responded to emails calls or anything to fix it. The bed was comfortable and the TV worked well. Kitchen stocked with adequate things to make breakfast or dinner.

Modest accommodations at a great price

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo has absolutely no view of the beach but is an easy five minute walk away from it. It's also near great restaurants and "The Bus" line. The kids slept well on the twin beds and we found the queen bed comfortable. The kitchen was in good shape but the dishes were slightly dirty. No big deal to wash them again. The washer and dryer we're $1.50 each and the very small grocery store next door sold individual detergent pods for $.89. There is no elevator or parking. I would recommend the 4th floor if you can manage it because the traffic can be noisy. We were able to get a half day rate on our last day since our flight didn't depart until 7pm. They were very accommodating. Entry into the condo was also easy through the hospitality app provided. Lots of info regarding the condo and area were in the app. Overall we were pleased and would stay here again at this no frills condo because of the price.

Steps from the canal, which made for a nice running route for me. We had the top floor, no elevators which we knew ahead of time. Apartment was clean. A/C was good enough, a little warmer in the bedroom but ceiling fan helped. Street noise didn’t bother us, but it might keep a light sleeper awake. Would stay here again. Price was great compared to surrounding hotels.

We used all available beach items: chairs, sun umbrella, beach boogie board and snorkel equipment (to watch plenty of fish in the beach pools) - a valuable bonus! This is the only unit that seems not having the actual balcony the other units have but it is more spacious instead as the sliding doors are placed close to the balcony railing.

Car rental in this area is cheaper than at the airport. There's a Biki rental station right next to this condo. The vehicle parking area at this unit was very handy. The 4 flights of stairs are just enough to get a good leg workout... and to keep you mindful not to forget anything in the car. Lol
