About this property

Our inviting condo (first floor) is equipped with all that you would need to enjoy your stay in Clearwater. The community itself, is very well cared for, with manicured grounds, clean resort area and a mature feel. Should you wish to cook, there are facilities to do so, would you like to relax and swim….there is the resort pool area or Clearwater Beach just a short drive away….perhaps you want to shop….we are well placed for excellent shopping…..Cultural activities are plentiful….from Pinnellas Trail, street art & cultural activities at Pier 60 or do you just want to sit back and do nothing….you can certainly also do that! Avalon is a secure gated community. We are 7 mins by car to Clearwater Beach, 15 minutes to the lovely Indian Rocks Beach and 25 minutes to Tampa Airport. Disney is 90 minutes by car & Bush Gardens a mere 40 minutes. We do aim to keep our condo in the best possible condition and we hope that this is evident when you choose to stay here.

The first floor (no stairs) condo is fully equipped with all that you will need to enjoy your vacation. 42 inch TV in living area (also has a DVD player) & TV in the bedroom, with bedlinen supplied and a queen size bed & an additional electronic blow up bed and or rollaway single bed(this is quite comfortable) basic cable TV, WFI, dishwasher, kitchen utensils, washer & dryer in the unit & patio & beach furniture.There is also plenty of storage, with an en suite bathroom leading to a large walk in closet for your convenience.
We observe safe cleaning practices, disenfect all surfaces and sanitise all portable linens between stays.
Please note, we do not have sofa bed, as we have yet to find one that is comfortable - we have an electric air bed and/or fold bed for the 3rd/additional guest. Please be aware that we need 2 weeks notice minimum for bookings so as to allow resort checks to be completed prior to your stay. Jan - April is a minimum of one month saty.

Nice surprise!

Avalon

Our accommodations were excellent. We had a couple of issues where things didn’t work correctly but they were remedied quickly by the very friendly owners. The location was close to area beaches and had an excellent pool area where we could find protection on windy days. Instructions from the owners was timely, accurate, and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

GREAT FOR A GETAWAY

This condo had everything we could possibly need for our week stay. In fact, it would be perfect for a much longer period. The owners were very responsive. We had one minor problem and it was fixed right away. We would definitely rent again.

Awesome stay

We recently stayed at the Avalon, in Clearwater. The condo was clean, very well stocked, and quite spacious. The bed was comfy. We received a complete list of contents of condo before we left home. Parking pass and keys where available at condo. Pamela was very pleasant to communicate with. Would definitely stay again.

Loved this place

We had a such a great time here at the Avalon was a really nice condo. Pool and amenities were so nice wished the pool was open later though to be able to night swim later. We came w out 2 children and used the cot and was perfect for all of us. Def would’ve came back this week for spring break w the kids if it wasn’t booked up. Pamela was very nice and allowing us to book one extra night for our flight. Love Clearwater beach and honeymoon island state park was a lot nicer and less crowded.

Great Vacation place

Safe and convenient location. Lot's of parking. Close to grocery stores and department stores Nice pool. Apartment was very clean and was exactly as shown in the pictures. The check in was very easy. The communication with the owner was fantastic bith before and during our stay. We had a problem with water leaking from the food waste disposal unit under the sink. The owner returned our call promptly and came to fix it the same day. I loved the fact that the unit was on the ground floor and close to the pool. If I were to look for room for improvement I would suggest a little more attention to the outside patio space. A couple of outdoor wall hangings would add to the space. We would certainly rebook this unit in future.

Found countertops full of dust and lint that I believe came from vents that were not vacuumed well. Also bedspread and blanket were smelling pretty rank. Great location tho. Property manager answered all my questions.

The AVALON is a very nice complex / the accommodation but not

The AVALON is a very nice facility. But we were not satisfied with the accommodation The apartment was not cleaned, we had black feet. The doors of the kitchen cabinets were fixed with tape, but kept opening. An extra bed (was in the description) was missing. There were 2 folding chairs but only one old beach chair. The toilet wobbled and the bed also had its time behind it. The owner came and looked at it, he said that with the toilet is normal and with the mattress of the bed he could not do anything. He only rents and does not live here. Great statement. In front of the balcony were 3 air conditioners that were very loud at night. If someone books in the AVALON, he should book the upper floors

Nice and convenient place

Very nice and comfortable apartment, fully equipped, the pool and the surrounding area is quite and clean. Convenient location, lots of stores and restaurants, fast access to beaches. Our family spent nice 10 days here. Recommended.

We enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed staying at the Avalon. Our condo was very clean and it had everything you could need. They have chairs and stuff for the beach so don’t worry about packing those things. They also had extra towels and blankets. We used the washer and dryer a lot since we went to the beach a lot so it was very convenient for us. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Rating the condo

I stayed at Pamela's place for one week. The place was in a very convenient location, only 7 minutes away from the Clearwater beach, pier 60. Walking distance to convenient store and walking distance to abi's restaurant and only 5 minutes walking distance from Publix. Highly recommend the place and definitely will go back.

My stay at The Avalon in Clearwater Florida # 806

Overall the condo was not as clean as I thought it should be . The carpet was beige and needed a good cleaning especially at the door ways . the condo needs a lot of TLC very dated needs new makeover in kitchen and bathroom . Condo was very warm as the AC was set on 74 all the time , which is too hot for me . We had a great time in Florida we went to the beach everyday . The pool is not very big for the amount of people staying there , the water temperature was 95 degrees , not very refreshing . overall the condo would be wonderful if it was cleaned up , has a great layout , close to the pool . I loved my stay there . Thank You

Enjoyed our stay.

This condo was the perfect size for us. Nice size bedroom, large bathroom, nice walk in closet. Living rm, dining area, and kitchen was open. Ground floor a plus. There were some issues with cleanliness. However, mostly over sight by cleaning company. We took care of those things ourselves and was not a big problem. We made host aware and they stated they have since changed companies. Furniture is not new or modern but was satisfactory. Everything we needed was there and convenient. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.
