Amazing Stay!!

This cabin was even better in person than the pictures showed, and the pictures are good. The cabin was very clean, spacious for the whole family, and a beautiful fireplace that was warm & cozy. We went sledding right on property . We also saw a moose family in the neighborhood! We highly recommend this cabin!

Amazing stay

The property and location are amazing. We made many memories as a family (3 generations) and found the area to be a great combination of relaxing and adventure. We didn't want to leave. The owners were very responsive and helpful. You can't miss with this one.

Perfect Family House

We took a family vacation and stayed at this beautiful place! There is so much space and the views are beautiful. It's about 40-50 min from Breckenridge depending on traffic. We went every day and the drive was not that bad! There are a lot of cute little restaurants and coffee shops in FairPlay that we loved! The owners of the house are incredible. They are extremely easy to reach if you ever have an issue. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone!

Beautiful place

Beautiful place with amazing Aspens and pine trees. We were lucky enough to see elk and moose every day close to the property. Legendary Rocky Mountain hikes within minutes.

A memorable time in the mountains.

Property is amazing, the photos do not do it justice. House is well maintained and offers plenty of amenities. The area feels very secluded but is only ten minutes from town. Property manager was communicative and very friendly. Me and my friends would not hesitate staying here again.

Awesome place for a family get-together!

This large and bright home was perfect for our holiday get-together with grandkids and grandparents! High ceilings and large windows make house light and bright. Will definitely visit again!!

Quiet hilltop retreat

We loved staying here. Really beautiful home with a huge kitchen. The pictures don't do it justice! Communication was great, and we saw a Moose about 10ft from the deck on our last day. Would definitely stay again!

Great Thanksgiving get away!

Property Manager was very responsive to questions prior to stay which was very helpful. Very relaxing and roomy! Fireplace was fantastic! Saw wildlife almost each day of our 4 day stay.

Wonderful Stay!

The experience was great from start to finish. The house is beautiful and it easily accommodated our group of 7 adults. The location was extremely nice too because the woods around the house make it feel secluded and private but it isn't too far away from things to make it hard to get to or inconvenient in any way. Overall a true 5 star property and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful mountain stay :)

Perfect

We had a wonderful stay with our son, daughter, son in law, and 4 grandsons. The house was perfectly set up with enough beds, bathrooms, and space for all of us. Kristin was prompt to respond to us when we had questions. We enjoyed eating on the large back deck and taking walks in the woods behind the house looking for animal tracks. We heard moose and our grandkids finally saw one on the road on our last day. I would not be surprised if we return again.

Beautiful, peaceful getaway.

We stayed here for a quiet retreat to just relax for my sister before she starts chemo and e feel in love with the place! We didn’t want to leave. Very spacious, quiet, and close to some really cool sites! We even saw a moose in the yard! We loved every second and will definitely be back!

My husband and I have been married for 2 years and live in the Denver metro area. Our profile picture was taken on our mini-honeymoon at Moose Lodge! We are both very active, love to travel and are huge movie buffs. We love nights, spent at Moose Lodge, watching movies with a roaring fire and a glass of wine. Our home is a little slice of heaven and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Our home sits on 5 acres and offers lots of room to explore. My favorite thing to do is at night, turn off all of the interior lights and go outside on the deck to star gaze. It's like having a personal planetarium. In September, during elk mating season, you can sit outside at night and hear the elk's mating calls. And if you are really lucky, you will see the family of moose that call our property home.
