This charming two bedroom (ground-floor) apartment is located within walking distance of Southside Village, which is home to more than 10 restaurants, a gourmet grocery store, lovely shopping, as well as live music and Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
This sparkling clean, light and airy apartment is fully renovated and beautifully decorated. 2 smart TVs, high-speed Wi-Fi, 3 pillow-top beds, 3 separately controlled mini-split air conditioning units, walk-in shower, full kitchen with granite countertops, washer/dryer inside the apartment and a big comfortable couch makes this a delightful and relaxing place to stay!

At Home in Sarasota

This is the fourth year that we have stayed in this apartment. Its location is ideal--easy access to downtown and Siesta Key--large stores along Tamiami and neighborhood shops in Southgate. We deal with Gail, who could not be nicer or more accommodating.

Great location

Apartment is located in the historical area of Sarasota. Very safe. Just around the corner, walking distance are boutique stores including a Morten's. Great bistro that she could order online. Apartment was clean. Kitchen small but adequate for our needs as we ate out a lot or picked up food so no real cooking. Beds are quite high so if you are short or not that agile being a foot stool. We had fun climbing up into the primary bed. Liked the option to park on street in front of apartment or around back in official available parking spot. Safe to park out front on the street, as first come first served option. Loved the use of washing machine and dryer. Have another booking at this same location.

Second time back!

Great location and comfortable clean accommodations! Loved walking 1 block to the nearby town square for restaurants & shopping; we also enjoyed the lovely walkable neighborhood and the location is close to Siesta Key beaches & a little drive further south to sweet downtown Venice. Manager is very responsive and parking space is a plus.

Great little apartment in a sweet vintage building

The apartment felt very roomy and had everything we needed for our stay. Liked having front and back entrances as well as assigned free parking space. Within walking distance to everything. Only downside was that air conditioning failed and needed attention two times while we were there. But it was addressed immediately and we were very happy with the customer service. Would definitely recommend it to others and would come back to stay again.

Great location and well equipped apartment. Kitchen area is small with little counter space so room for only one cook at a time. One bathroom only can be limiting but we made it work. Overall, very sweet apartment in a great neighborhood.

Can't say enough.

My spouse and I stayed for 2 weeks while we had work done on our house in Sarasota. We have stayed in many condo-type rentals and this was one of the best. It was clean, comfortable, and adequately stocked with dishes, linens, toys, and so forth. It is surprisingly large and decorated in a very relaxing and tasteful way. It is one or two blocks from a grocery, several restaurants, the hospital, and some boutique-like shopping. The neighborhood is one of the more interesting and historic areas in Sarasota, which was a pleasure to explore.

Perfect Location-Shops, Downtown Sarasota, Beaches

Our 2 bedroom VRBO was in a terrific spot in Sarasota's "Southside Village" area, which made for a great location to walk to shops, restaurants (1 block away) and downtown Sarasota (1 mile) and a short 4 mile drive to Siesta Beach, St. Armond's Circle, etc. Also, Gail was so thoughtful to have included beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie board, etc for a great afternoon at the beach. Only 2 points to be aware of, but not significant; bathroom is very modest size, but very functional and there is no dishwasher. However, there is a washer & dryer, which was terrific to have in the apartment, especially since we stayed for 2 weeks. Would definitely recommend this property!

Family vacation

Wonderful experience! Gail always is gracious and responsive. Location is perfect for easy walking to downtown and a short drive to the beach. We rented her one bedroom unit in the building and together with our two bedroom, we easily handled our family. Highly recommend

Updated unit with great location

This is a wonderful walkable neighborhood with great restaurants, coffee shops and bars. The owner was very responsive with any repairs needed and communicated quickly with updates and answers. The amenities made our stay easy and comfortable-loved the quiet, efficient AC system. We will visit again!

Mango Gardens, as enjoyed by the Kata's

The apartment was lovely with many unexpected amenities.We enjoyed our stay. We used the kitchen for daily breakfasts and were pleased with the kitchen equipment available to use. A spacious shower and towels were plentiful. Phyllis is only 5'2" and found the bed height a challenge, but was able to overcome it. When we returned home we had an email listing our exit responsibilities; however, as we do not have email on our cellphones, we were unaware of the need to put the towels in the washer or to place the garbage in an outside bin.
