Dirty!

While conveniently located near to the Angel Fire Resort, the property looked and felt dirty. Yellowish water marks run down all walls in both bathrooms. There was mildew along the edge of the bathroom sink. There were cobwebs. The master bath light flickered constantly. We will not be staying again. If you do, take cleaning supplies and a black light.

Caution: Owner doesn't deserve your business

This condo was not cleaned or maintained prior to our stay. Dirty dishes, crumbs and grease on counters and coffee table, very dirty floor and stained carpet, clogged shower drain, sheets appeared unchanged from previous tenants, vacuum provided was clogged, washer/dryer was unreliable. This block of condos does NOT have a dumpster like every other. Owner expects you to drive 1/2mi to a community dumpster. We spent an hour cleaning when we first arrived and communication with owner was intermittent at best. We had to get VRBO and property manager involved.Condo and amenities are older, but not a problem for the area or price.Outside of this, we had a great time at Angel Fire skiing and the area is beautiful. We will be back, but will NOT stay in this owner's rentals. We'll obviously have to use a bit more diligence when looking for a place. I'd recommend everyone skipping this place until they get their act together.

We really enjoyed the place. We did found a container with old food in the refrigerator. Also I sent an email to find our where to leave the trash as it said on the instructions to take it out. Great cozy spot

Great little place! We got accurate communication on location and check-in and everything was as listed. It was clean and cozy and close to the mountain. Would recommend & stay here again!

Excellent base camp for skiing

Hard to beat the location and how close this was to the resort for skiing. We even walked back here for lunch on one of the more crowded days. Everything at the condo was accurately represented by the photos. A few of the appliances were out of order (dryer, fireplace) but nothing major. The service was stellar - communication with the team beforehand and after checkout was easy, the pantry and toiletries were well stocked, and they had left a little welcome present which was a nice touch. Would stay here again!

It’s okay…,.

We drive 10 hours to get there, it was snowing, dark and cold, and we had been given the wrong entrance code! We could NOT get ahold of Jody the contact. Thankfully, the cleaning guy was out on the line and he gave us the correct one. Very very frustrating experience. The place was ok but I would not consider it especially clean. There was dust on a lot of the furniture and the primary bathroom’s shower was so small my husband couldn’t fit in it. Also the whole thing about charging a huge price for cleaning, then asking the guests to remove all the trash, strip the beds, and pile the towels in one spot is asking a lot from someone.

This is an older property that didn’t seem very clean. Not sure how long it had been shut up before we arrived, but it smelled pretty musty. We ended up leaving the windows open most of the time since there is no air conditioning (not a huge complaint as that is typical of homes in the area.) Unfortunately, this was an unusually hot July.The washer and dryer were broken during our stay.For just a place to sleep if you’re planning to be out during the day, it’ll do. We would not stay here again.
