Loved the small gated backyard. Bed was very comfortable. Great location to walk downtown for shopping and restaurants. Host great at communicating from the time we booked til we left and was very accomodating while we were there.
Eric has a lovely, comfortable room in west Petaluma. He is a most gracious host. Cookies on arrival! Offers of breakfast, drinks for the in-room fridge, suggestions of restaurants, extra towels, and maybe a tour of his music collections :) Walking everywhere in town is easy from here. Thank you Eric, for a perfect stay.
Eric is a very generous host! We really enjoyed staying at the Petaluma cottage because of the proximity to a venue where we were speaking and also because it is a pet friendly cottage. We will definitely go back.
A detached apartment offered privacy, comfort and every amenity I required. I appreciated the comfortable bed, great shower and a well thought out design that makes use of a cozy space. But what stands apart is the host's commitment to making your stay an experience. From a welcoming bottle of wine, fresh-baked cookies and soft drinks in the fridge when I arrived, to the surprise of breakfast every day (banana pancakes, brioche french toast and more), this stay surpassed all of my past VRBO experience. Eric made early contact, fielded all my requests and made access and departure a breeze. Knowledgeable about all-things Petaluma, Eric also gave me great recommendations for local restaurants and the music scene and what else I might do over my five-day stay. I booked my next visit before I left. If you're on your own or with a partner, look no further. This is the place.
Private yard. Very quiet. Cozy for 2. Friendly host. Walk to town. Great experience. Street parking no problem steps from front door. Lush trees offer shade and privacy.

Why they chose this property
We love our old historic town with colorful old homes, outstanding restaurants, a great live music scene, a lovely river to kayak on and multiple bike and hiking trails. And so close to Napa, Sonoma, the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco.
What makes this property unique
A small but very comfortable studio with all the amenities one could want. A sweet private patio and yard which all pups love to roam.
