Our fully-furnished one bedroom with free wifi, one four peice bathroom condo is conveniently located at kicking horse ski resort with ski-in, ski-out access. This spacious unit offers a queen-sized bed in a private bedroom, as well as double pullout couch in the living room area for additional guests. Each room is temperature controlled and has its own thermostat. A private laundry room is available in the unit for your convenience and also offers plenty of additional storage space. A private deck off Living rm, plus a bbq is also available for use during all seasons - nothing better than a tasty steak and glass of wine after an epic day on the hill! The unit offers key less entry, underground heated parting in a private, quiet building with a total of 5 units. While there is lots to explore in the great outdoors, the unit offers apple tv for those rainy days or relaxing evenings. Cleaning services are provided to make your stay the relaxing vacation you are looking for.

Just a few steps away is kicking horse village. Here you will find ski/snowboard/mountain bike rentals, restaurants/bars, seasonal childcare, and a grocery/convenience store. A short 10 km drive down the mountain will lead you to the town of golden. This quaint town is surrounded by majestic mountains, rivers, lakes and wildlife. Take some time to walk the downtown strip for local shopping, take in local entertainment, walk the riverside trails, and enjoy a variety of restaurants. Golden has something for everyone to enjoy during all 4 seasons, including: golf, fly-fishing, hiking, biking, whitewater rafting, parasailing, rock climbing, cross-country / downhill skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, skating, and much more!

Great spot

The place was well located and comfortable, with a cook kitchen (well stocked) and excellent communication with the property manager. The only regret was that the hot tub was not working, as it is one of the things I look forward to after skiing.

Great Location

Clean, quiet, well maintained condo on a quiet cut-de-sac in Kicking Horse Resort. Unit was easy to find, and well stocked with house hold items. Would definitely stay again if in the Golden area.

Great location

We used this condo as a base to visit all the surrounding National Parks. We had a wonderful time hiking Yoho and many other great parks in the area. Condo was clean and has all the necessities.

Great little condo. Love that it was so well stocked. Great ski, ski out. Stayed for a full week and did not have to drive down the mountain for anything. Sad that the hot tub was not working as after skiing all day it would have been very nice to soak. Small issue with heating but Terry called and helped remedy it. Only suggestion would be a better bed and bedding. Sheets thin and comforter falling apart. We would definitely stay again but ensure hot tub working. Next time.

Nice ski getaway

Cozy little place for a ski getaway. Can fit up to 2 couples, but might be pretty tight for 4 adults, was just right for 2 guys. Well equipped kitchen, Weber grill, plenty of dishes and cups. True ski in, ski out required walking a bit. Will definitely consider returning.

We love this condo so much we have stayed here 5 times! It’s a great place for a couple. Everything you need for a ski holiday. Sadly missed having the hot tub as it’s under repair. Hope it will be up and running for our next visit. Till next time.

Quick trip to the mountains

We came to go rafting and get away for a few days. The condo was comfortable and well stocked. Private deck. Nice hot tub. An awning or umbrella on the deck would be nice, as you can't escape the sun in the afternoon. But otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Mountain Top Hideaway

Summertime in the Rockies is amazing! The condo is centrally located to all the National Parks. We loved being high above the beautiful town of Golden. Everything you could ask for was in the exceptionally clean condo. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a day hiking in the Rockies. The resort itself offered many activities and we especially enjoyed the Grizzly Bear Refuge and the resident Grizzly - Boo. The Gondola ride to the Eagle Eye Restaurant was a wonderful 17 minute scenic ride. Terry and Mavis were a pleasure to work with and made it easy to book our stay.

A clean, cozy place in a beautiful location

The neighbourhood was remarkably quiet, and the condo was clean and comfortable. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for a summer long weekend. Hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. There were a couple quirks. The front door lock was a little finicky, so make sure the door is locked before leaving. We also could not get the garage door to work from the outside, so we used the garage side door to go in and hit the button. The garage side door was left unlocked the whole time by others going in/out, so we assumed this was normal. Also note, the garage spot is pretty tight and may not be accessible if there are other cars parked in there — but there was plenty of street parking available and the area seems safe. All in all, it's a great place and I look forward to coming back.

Everything was as listed. The condo was very clean and well cared for. Golden was a good central location for the exploring we wanted to do and for avoiding the more expensive and busier Banff/Lake Louise area. The 20-30 minute drive from Golden to the condo was the trade-off for finding one of the lower cost condos in the area.

Best mountain getaway

Very clean property and in the best location on the mountain . The amenities in the condo were above expectations if you like to cook. Which we do , so this helped make our stay that much better . It was a quiet location as well. Would recommend this propert in the Aspens .

Beautiful Views

This cabin was a great, cozy place to rest after hiking! We really loved getting to use the hot tub and the grill in the evenings and playing a game of cribbage. The views from the cabin and Kicking Horse were fantastic and we really enjoyed watching the sunsets.

Purchasing a condo in the mountains was a life-long dream of mine. Kicking Horse instantly became my favourite ski resort when I discovered it many years ago, when it was known as Whitetooth Resort. I have always loved to escape to the mountains and now I have the luxury of doing so with my little family. We love to relax at the condo and enjoy the beauty that surrounds Kicking Horse and Golden. From skiing/snowboarding in the winter, to mountain biking in the summer, this condo offers something for everyone to enjoy. All you have to do is step outside, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and marvel at the surroundings. I promise you, a few days in the mountains will give you the escape from busy everyday life and the recharge you need. For those adrenaline junkies, you are at the right spot! Kicking Horse Resort offers challenging terrain for skiers and mountain bikers, so have fun!

Recently we decided to open our condo to others so that you too may enjoy our humble little abode. I hope you love it as much as we do. Please make yourself at home and, as I always say, RELAX AND ENJOY!

Our condo offers the perfect romantic getaway for a couple, an adventurous trip for a small group of friends, or a memorable family vacation. Rain or shine, there is always something to do, see, and explore! For those not familiar with the area, we supply an assortment of travel magazines for Golden and surrounding area to help you decide what to do and where to go. Feeling lazy? You can always curl up on the couch and take advantage of our Apple TV. Remember, our unit is only one of five, so offers plenty of privacy.

What makes this property unique

This one-bedroom condo is very spacious, quiet, and private. Our unit is only one of five in our building, so there is very little traffic and noise. During winter months, you have the luxury of ski-in and ski-out...right to our back deck! We enjoy BBQing / cooking our own meals and sipping some wine at the end of the day. Our condo is loaded with everything you need for cooking and relaxing. Feel like staying inside? Feel free to take advantage of our Apple TV or rent a video in downtown Golden at the local movie store. Heated parking is provided in our secure underground parked - a nice feature during those chilly winter months.
