Beautiful, Spacious Home Perfect for Our Group of Seven!
We had a wonderful experience at this house! It comfortably fit 7 people, and everyone kept commenting on how beautiful and spacious it was. The layout and design made it easy for all of us to relax and enjoy the space together. It had all the amenities we needed, and the attention to detail was impressive. Would highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable stay!
The house was exactly how pictured! Sandy was an excellent host in every part of the process. Incredibly responsive and helpful. We were a large group and the home provided all the towels, and linens needed, including an extra inflatable mattress and amenities. The home was clean and well take care of. It was very comfortable and had plenty of hot water for the team to take nightly showers.
The home is in a great part of town and felt very safe. The property is beautiful and well maintained. We would love to stay here again.
Peaceful, private, quiet and family friendly in Anchorage
We do a lot of VRBOs and resorts and this was one of the best we’ve ever stayed at! Clean, quiet, private, everything worked, spices and appliances for cooking, you could tell this was cared for like a home, not a rental. Games, toys, plenty of yard for kids to run in and space indoors to spread out and be together or relax alone. We couldn’t have been happier! Excellent communication from host too.
We started our 10 day Alaska trip w a stay in Anchorage. We had everything we needed for our group of 9. It was a great location too, close to hiking, grocery stores and the freeway but still
Felt secluded. Highly recommend!
Just right for 6 adult 5 children under 11. Kitchen & pantry well equipped. Three bathrooms were essential. Liked the suburban locale—wooded and private but just 10 minutes from groceries and services. Windowed kitchen/dining/living area nice even on rainy days. Sorry weather didn’t allow more use of deck and lovely yard. Overall a 5 star!
Beautiful setting in trees. We had 9 adult family all fitting quite well here. Inside layout of rooms worked nicely, beds were comfy, water was hot when you turned on the faucets, everything was handy and plentiful, clean and felt like home. Only one item didn't work for us - instructions about garage use for a car and to put cardboard/remaining garbage in there upon leaving, we couldn't access garage due to doors to it were locked and no code from outside to open it - but no big problem really. We would book this house again if we make it back to Anchorage.Thank you very much owners!
The house is spacious, room layout is good and it is well equipped. The landlady is very nice and helpful. We have spent a very nice five weeks in the house.
We loved our stay on Abbott Loop. The house was a perfect location and we had easy access to everything in Anchorage. There were six of us staying at the house and we had plenty of room. The house was so clean and had everything you could possibly need for your stay. It is a beautiful home and we hope to stay here again next time we visit Anchorage.
The property was nice and the beds were clean and comfortable… The property manager was kind enough to let those with earlier flights check in early which was very helpful. Jeff kept us informed of a minor problem so it didn’t come as a surprise. Thank you sharing your home!
The rental property is convenient to all our activities
Propertiy very cozy - well maintained - all the kitchen utensils to prepare meals 7 adults & one infant 4 months old - each group had their jowl bedroom - nice fire place & plenty of fire wood - washer & dryer, had known would not packed so much clothing- plenty of counter space - great internet access- - grocery shopping within 15 minutes, found Fred Meyers the best - spices pantry well stocked from previous renters - access into facility easy & secured front door on its own - 5 star vacation rental home!
We really enjoyed our short stay in Anchorage, the house was very nice and comfortable. The area is beautiful, my only wish is that we had seen some moose in the beautiful yard. The yard and weather looked like it should have been very inviting to moose.
Comfortable beds, big living area comfy for 10, large fridge, nice forest-y calm environment. Plenty to do for our elementary aged children. Great views on the drive to and from the residence.
My two siblings and our families stayed here for the weekend. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space, yet intimate enough for us to gather in the living room, dining room and patio to enjoy each other’s company. The yard is peaceful, neighborhood is quiet and house is set up well for guests. We don’t have plans to return to Anchorage, but if we do, this is where we will stay.
Enjoyed our time here in Alaska. This beautiful house was our home for my entire family for a week and was simply amazing. We had so much space to just relax. Can’t wait to visit again!
We had our whole family including grandkids on a vacation to Alaska. This home worked perfectly for us and an extra touch that most host's don't do was they provided toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap and other items that usually you have to go out and buy. That was a very nice gesture that made our stay better. The grounds were beautiful and the area was like you were in the country. Jeff our host was top notch, he took care of any problems very quickly and was quick to respond. You will be very pleased with this property and host. If it were possible I would have given it 10 stars.
Used as a transition between tours based out of Anchorage. Beautiful house, easy location for day trip to Girdwood. Temperature control on main level/upstairs seemed a bit fickle
Three generations of a family from age 3 to 70+ stayed for 10 days. The home was well laid out, well maintained, had plentiful parking, and seemed to be convenient to everywhere we wanted to go. In addition, the kitchen was well designed and supplied for such a large group.
Wonderful! It’s the little things that make it great.
Wonderful place to stay. When we arrived at the property at 11pm, after traveling all day, our host was gracious enough to answer the phone without complaint, and helped us check-in.
The property was well stocked, which was great for our short two nights stay. The pantry with extra food available for guests was a godsend for my daughter, who hadn’t eaten since lunchtime, as she was able to get some quick sustenance. The bathrooms were also very well stocked. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
We were very happy over all with this property and service. We would have given it a perfect rating, except upon arrival we noticed a really bad smell in the kitchen and discovered crab legs in the trash compactor that was really messy and even stuck to the top of the compactor and under the door on the floor. We had to clean it ourselves, as it was pretty rank and didn't want to leave it another minute. Other than that, the house was very clean. Also, the sleeping rooms/info was a little confusing in regard to the number of total beds/bedrooms, when two sofa beds were in the living/family rooms and the office/day bed was actually what would have been the 4th bedroom. If our other family of 4 had not had to cancel, it would have been not quite as comfortable for us, but still do-able. Thank you for your hospitality.

Why they chose this property
We chose this house because it is in a central location to everything but it is tucked away on a private road. It is large enough for us to have our whole family visit, but small enough to feel at home when it is just the two of us. We have loved the deck and the outdoor firepit. We have seen animals of all kinds wandering through the yard and enjoyed watching the northern lights. We love this home and hope that you will too.
What makes this property unique
This home has plenty of space and amenities for the whole family. The beds are comfortable, including an adjustable bed in the master, and a room with bunk beds for the smaller guests, which is attached to the master bedroom. It has two family rooms so there is something for everyone. The large yard has plenty of parking and a good sized deck for a barbeque.
