I gave the location/ neighbor a three star because Snow Hill Ridge Rd leading to the cabin is unkempt and makes the area look questionable. Although, once at the cabin, it was quiet, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The outside area with the waterfall was serene. We loved the greenery surrounding the cabin. The front porch was perfect for sitting and enjoying the evening. Recommend going to some of the local restaurants. We went to Chevelle’s 66 and there was a live band playing. Great atmosphere and good music. Definitely will be going back! and
What a fantastic little cabin! Peaceful, relaxing and just all around perfect for our stay. Very rustic and adorable! The area is absolutely beautiful. Kirby was a fantastic host! We’ll be back soon!!!
My husband and I stayed at the cabin from December 10 to the 27th. The cabinet is clean, conveniently located very cozy and comfortable. The host are exceptional and go above and beyond should be helpful and should make your stay perfect. Have already booked again in the spring Thank you
The peace and tranquility I experienced during the days I spent in the cabin were unforgettable. I would repeat the experience again. Everything was very good and the life was very peaceful. Everything was very accessible.
I came up to the area to take a class at the John Campbell Folk School. I needed a place for my big dog and I. This place was perfect in every way. I will definitely be coming back.
The wife and I were looking for a weekend getaway in the mountains with the dogs and this place was a great find. Easy to book, great communication, and the cabin was just as described. Would definitely book it again!
I really love this cabin. It's always clean and so easy to get too. Nice little neighborhood but plenty of distance between the houses. The owners are true gems, always easy to get in touch with. The cleaner is so honest, my husband left his watch there and it's being returned to him.
Location was great, cabin a little small but clean inside, main TV not working, wifi none existent. Out side colony of bees in the upper part of house problematic. Needs fresh paint and TLC . If everything fixed would stay again . This was our 50th wedding anniversary so somewhat disappointing.
The home was in great shape and looked very cozy. Nice quiet area close to rafting in GA. Full kitchen was a big help and the washer & dryer. Kids and myself really enjoyed the stay. Would highly recommend.

Right down the road from Deckers flea market, and not far from town. Kirby was very responsive and the cabin was absolutely beautiful. We will be back.

We really loved our stay at this cabin we thought that it was going to be futher away ftom people but it turned out to be ok we celebrated my husbands 65th birthday here and it was great the only thing i wish the cabin would of had was a hot tub that would of made it all the more better we plan to come back to Murphy north Carolina someday and hope to rent this same cabin i really have no complaints i did want to see a bear but never got to but i did get to see alot of deer which i loved the people in Murphy are very nice and very welcoming we had a wonderful vacation here thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us
The cabin is quaint, very clean and nicely decorated. The outside pics didn’t quite match up with what was there. Need to be updated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and it’s location to Murphy and would come back again.
My boyfriend, dog and I needed a place to get away for a few days while painters were at the house and I'm happy to say we found a wonderful spot in Murphy. The cabin was very clean with a well stocked kitchen with an ample supply of paper towels, toilet paper, etc. It was hot but the AC worked great and we spent a lot of time on the deck when the sun when down. Even better than the pictures. The pond around the corner from the house offered some great catch and release fishing. As soon as you put your line in, you would reel one in and we are not great fisher people! Only two thing to note - the bedroom pillows are VERY fluffy so if you need a flatter one keep that in mind and the upstairs loft bedroom has a window with no blinds so the morning sun comes pouring in. The only downside is it isn't closer to where we live. Great communication with owners!
