My husband and I rented this lovely house for some much needed R&R. It was the perfect place to relax and reflect. We rented the pontoon boat and spent every day on the water catching fish after fish.
We saw turtles, beaver, hawks, frogs, blue herons and deer. The upper deck even had an abundance of hummingbirds that visited every day.
The house was clean and comfortable. When we were there, we enjoyed watching Netflix and grilling out on the deck. Rod did tell us to bring our own propane which was no problem at all.
Frankie greeted us and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could possibly need to make our stay enjoyable. We felt like we left making a new friend.
I would definitely recommend this home for your next lake house vacation. We had a blast and can’t wait to go back.
The house was as shown in the listing, not fancy but adequate for our needs. Not a place to hang around in for too much time, but a fine base for spending time outdoors. The kitchen was reasonably equipped and it was nice to have the ROKU for watching TV. Air-conditioning and fans kept the house very comfortable.
Only downsides were the poor quality of the sheets: polyester gets very sticky in hot weather. And the somewhat mildewy outdoor carpeting on the deck was not very nice.
Remarkably few insects, and a quiet location.
Our family relaxed and enjoyed this home with a beautiful lakefront frontage! I highly recommend renting this home with the pontoon or Jon boat for “fishing” or just cruising around! Any questions or problems were quickly attended to by Rodney! As for the location, we pretty much had the whole area to ourselves, aside a few bugs, flying insects and friendly boaters around the lake. This home was clean, comfortable and had a wonderful outdoor oasis with great fishing!
The place was huge.....the deck, I could have just lived there. The people who came to check that everything was good for us were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Couldn't ask for better service. Serenity and quiet abounded. And the person who complained about bugs.....you're basically surrounded by woods....that's where THEY live. It was great to commune with nature....even found a dime sized tiny toad. Would definitely come here again!
House was really nice on first site but me and my friends were constantly killing ants and spiders.
I definitely wouldn’t go back to this house. I had a creepy ghost vibe the entire time. Had lights shut off and doors open while in the house. Only had enough hot water to take 1 shower a day(their were 6 people). Had a grill but had to buy our own propane for 3 days. And had to kill hundreds of spiders and ants off of it. Overall was a good stay if u like Haunted and big bugs
