The deck offers views of the Wanganui River toward town and your own self-contained studio apartment has both covered and open relaxation areas
You are only 1.2 kilometers from the center of town and can access many adventure activities. This includes kayaking, the Timber Trail cycle way, and the Forgotten Highway. In winter it is only a 45 minute drive to the Whakapapa ski fields on Mount Ruepehu.
Another way to recharge is to relax in peace and quiet in the gardens (a work in progress) or on the partly shaded deck.

Peaceful Break
Lovely comfortable studio in quiet part of Taumarunui. Very comfortable beds, great shower, makings of good breakfast in fridge. Particularly appreciated the homemade orange marmalade. Alice was very welcoming and friendly and we had a lovely break. River walk and trip to Owhango were especially charming.

Cozy quiet location with an amazing hot shower facility. Alice was an incredible host who provided me with numerous delicious snacks . Definitely would stay here again .
