🐶DOG FRIENDLY🌲Ziggy's Hideaway🌲Large fenced yard.🦌

Now accepting dogs! We are happy to welcome your furry friend to Ziggy's. A large portion of the rear yard is fenced to keep your furry friends contained.

Ziggy's Hideaway is a real log cabin with beautiful log beams throughout situated on two and 1/4 acres bordering the Reservation in the tall pines of Lakeside, AZ. Our cabin sleeps 8 on high end mattresses in 3 bedrooms with additional sleeping for 4 on 2 twin air mattresses and 1 full size futon. The Master Bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with dual sinks and large dual head shower. The Family Bathroom has a bath/shower combination. There is a fully equipped kitchen including coffee maker, blender, toaster, oven, microwave, full size fridge with freezer, ice maker, and filtered water as well as everything you need to cook a full holiday meal. There are dishes and silverware for twelve and seating for twelve at the bar and dining table. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's; in total we have five flat screen TV's. The upstairs loft is perfect for the kids with seating for 5+ and TV with XBox 360 and limited games. Sitting in the loft you have beautifulviews of the Reservation to the front and to the rear are the tall pines on the property, it is like being in your own tree house. There is a private deck off the Master Bedroom for relaxing and listening to the sound of the tall pines. The front fully gated deck encompasses the front of the cabin and provides unobstructed views of the Reservation where you can see wild horses, cows, Jack Rabbits, deer, elk and bears.

We provide paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, hand soap, dish soap, dishwasher tabs, kitchen sponge. We also have a hospitality tray which includes your first night's coffee, assorted teas and some sweet treats!

The place is very nice and in a great location. Everything is near by. The property managers are excellent with communication and providing useful information. Lovely cabin on the rim

Fabulous communication from Brett & Nicki. Beautiful cabin, excellent central location and yet secluded. A spiral staircase, gorgeous loft, big windows, circular driveway. A beautiful home. We loved our time there.

The cabin is like those you read on fiction books and imagine being there at least once, and you’ll be wishing for more! Incredible location, super clean and felt right at home. Brett and Nicky were incredible host from initial communication up to our departure and beyond, couldn’t not recommend this properly MORE, don’t walk, RUN to travel to Ziggy’s hideaway, you will fall in love

Overall nice place. Loved the area. One neighbor was not very friendly. There was a large, fenced in yard, although, we were unable to let the dogs stay out for very long because the neighbor would stand outside staring at the dogs and then complain that the dogs would bark.

Birthday Celebration at Ziggy's Cabin

I recently had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Ziggy's Cabin, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was taken aback by the cabin's rustic charm and the serene beauty of the surroundings. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, with every detail thoughtfully designed to ensure a comfortable stay. The living area had a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a fireplace that added a touch of magic to the evenings. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare delicious meals, and the bedrooms were comfortable and serene, providing a perfect retreat after a day of adventure. One of the highlights of my stay was the stunning view from the cabin's deck. Watching the sunset while sipping a cup of coffee was pure bliss at either front porch or master bedroom balcony. The tranquility of the location allowed me to truly unwind and disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The porch goes around the cabin where you have a BBQ at right side for use ,plan chair to sit , it had a fire pit on front of cabin. I also enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails, which offered breathtaking views and a chance to connect with nature. The host had some goodies for our arrival . The grandson went straight to the chocolate and I had some tea. The kids love the upstairs with games available to them. At the evening the family played Monopoly as it was available such many others games and books. A five + star stay

Can't wait to stay again!

My family and I had so much fun this trip and the cabin was amazing. The fenced deck and side yard was great for our dog Loui. We sat outside on the deck enjoying the weather and the kids enjoyed playing video games in the loft. The location is perfect and close to two different lakes along with lots of shopping and places to eat. The home has everything you could need. Brett and Nicky were amazing at providing us with information on local places to check out. We can't wait to stay again!

Such a cute cabin!

My family and I stayed here over the weekend just to get out of the heat. The cabin was so welcoming and exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were amazing and attentive and even shipped some clothes back that my daughter left at the cabin. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle

Excellent Family Retreat

We really enjoyed our stay at Ziggy's. The cabin was immaculately clean,very well appointed and had everything A a cooking family like ours requires. It is well situated. for those who want to be within close proximity to stores and conveniences. We are very much an experienced outdoor family and would likely have done well in a location that is more remote. This time we had some very young children in our family group, so the cabin was well situated for everything we needed.

We love staying here.

Ziggy's Hideaway is an awesome place to stay. We have stayed here twice and had a very enjoyable experience both times. It is a beautiful a spacious cabin for our family of six. It is in a neighborhood, but kind of on the outskirts. It is located on a gravel road and the scenery is peaceful and beautiful! Working with the property manager was so easy. They were friendly, helpful and available. I really appreciate how quickly they responded to any questions or concerns. All in all I would highly recommend this vacation getaway!

Brett is from Montana but raised in Arizona and spent many summers as a child fishing at the North Fork of the Whiteriver. Nicky (Nick) is from England and has spent the last 20 years in Arizona. We love spending time at Ziggy's and enjoying all the White Mountains has to offer. We hope you enjoy Ziggy's Hideaway as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

Looking for a Northern Arizona getaway in 2014, we toured Flagstaff, Pine and Strawberry before arriving at Pinetop-Lakeside. We immediately realized this was the place for us; we like the small town atmosphere and the friendliness of everybody in the area. Ziggy's Hideaway was the first cabin we saw and from the minute we walked through the door, we fell in love with it. We are continuing to enjoy exploring all the hiking trails and lakes and all the White Mountains towns. We are very happy to be a part of the community.

What makes this property unique

Upon leaving the paved road to drive down our dirt road, with the Reservation to the south it is like driving into the middle of the woods. We love sitting on the front deck and listening to the sound of the tall pines while watching for wildlife on the Reservation. No matter what is going on in our lives, when we arrive at Ziggy's the stress seems to fade away. Ziggy's Hideaway provides peace and relaxation while being close to shopping, restaurants and many lakes.
