Great family beach house with beautiful ocean views! “Jackson's Corner" (duplex) has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, outside shower, fantastic decks with unobstructed ocean views! Beach access is yards away. This beach getaway will comfortably sleep 8, or book both units and sleep 16! Spend time relaxing on one of the 2 front porch swings enjoying the views and sounds of the ocean! Amenities include dishwasher, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, charcoal grill, central heat/air, outside shower, 2 ocean facing decks, and much more! Walk to many Oak Island conveniences including Food Lion, Dairy Queen, and several restaurants!

**You are responsible for bringing your own towels and linens for 3 Queens, 1 Double to comfortably sleep 8 people.

Weekly rentals only during peak season.

**Pets allowed - please note dogs will not be able to go to the 2nd floor unless they are small enough to be carried due to the spiral staircase. No pets on the furniture!!

We have a 2nd unit (duplex) that is the same layout available for rent as well. You can open up the front porch divider to have 1 large porch and this will also give you 3 more BR's and 2 more baths. See listing 7592764 for more info. 10% discount on 2nd unit if rented together.

Jackson’s Corner was perfect!

We enjoyed our stay at Jackson’s Corner - a quick Thanksgiving weekend trip. It was so nice to see the ocean, and the home is clean, comfortable. and well-appointed. Check-in was easy peasy. Thank you for a delightful stay in Oak Island!

Great location and beach access

The best aspect of this is the location. We could zip to the beach in minutes and go back and forth to the property as needed all day. The empty lot across the street was wonderful for being able to see the ocean. The outdoor shower is really nice and has super hot water. The downside is probably the tight spiral staircase and the AC was a little weak upstairs so we found it a bit warm overnight even with the AC really low. We had a minor issue with a broken bathroom faucet but the hosts responded with a repair quickly. Overall we had a great time.

Beautiful view!

The location of this property is great. It is literally steps away from the ocean and the views are priceless. We enjoyed the swing on the deck and the outdoor shower was a big hit! The spiral staircase is very narrow and steep, it is definitely precarious. The host is very easy to contact and responds in a timely manner. Overall a great stay, but the unit wasn’t cleaned properly prior to our arrival in my opinion.

Great view but…

The view is spectacular. The access to the beach is ideal. The owner was easy to reach. It is close to grocery stores and beach shops, even walkable. While it says it sleeps 8, it is quite tight. The spiral staircase that leads to two of the three bedrooms, including the master suite, is precarious and very narrow. Be advised.

Great location! The spiral staircase was difficult to maneuver for average sized people 5'5" to 5'10" and 150 to 180 lbs. Very clean unit, had everything we needed.

Easter Weekend

It was a convenient place to meet my 2 sons from USC for Easter, and a Spring Break for myself, my mom, and my youngest son. The proximity to the beach and being able to sit out on the front porch and see the water was perfect. There was a lot open even though it was the off season, but mini golf. We all enjoyed our stay. The only negative I would say is the circular staircase, that is an accident waiting to happen.

Jackson's Corner is Perfect

Perfect spot next to the beach. Great place to stay with the pets. Everything you need in the kitchen. Beds are great too. The house was ready early so we actually got to check in at 0900 in the morning. We'll definitely look for this place again next time we are coming to Osk Island.

Love oak island

The location was great but the house was very small. If you are on deck and someone is renting the other side you are side by side and will definitely hear each other's conversations. Staircase is more like a corkscrew than a spiral. But beach access and beach itself...GREAT!

Oak island retreat.

The condo has nice size and comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked very well. Everything worked. The view of the ocean is amazing, being it is second row. The houses that were in front of the condo have been removed and give the best view. The only drawback is no dining table. But for a short 4 nights stay we did our best. It’s tight if you have more then 3 people eating at the small bar. We would stay again

All about the location

This house is in an ideal spot, but it kind of fell short for us beyond that. Unfortunately, we came on a rainy weekend and had to spend more time inside than we would have liked. The house is much older and needs a few updates. The kitchen is stocked with everything one might need to prepare a meal; which was much appreciated. The staircase is a hazard. We have a spiral staircase, in our own home, but we were not prepared for how small/narrow this staircase actually was. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and we all fought to sit in the one recliner. We were also disappointed when we learned that after paying a cleaning fee, we were still responsible for washing and drying any hand towels we used, and running and unloading the dishwasher before we checked out. We stripped the beds of our own linens and brought our own towels, so this was a little surprising. With that all being said, had we actually gotten to spend our days on the beach, some of what we found at Jackson’s Corner would not have been a huge issue. You are definitely paying for the view and convenience of being close to the ocean. Hopefully, you have great weather when you book!

We loved our little get away wish it was longer

We came for quick weekend to visit with family and enjoy some sunshine and sandy toes! The kids had a blast the house accommodated us all perfectly (6 adults, two children and one pup) we will be back again!

Excellent value centrally located on Oak Island.

Unblocked views!!! There are no homes on the dune/front row so this is a great beachfront opportunity. A two-block walk to the grocery store, beach shops, and Dairy Queen! The spiral staircase is a bit "snug", but the owners are honest about the restrictions it brings in the posting. We will save this house for future trips

The house was very nice. Beds are comfortable. Only problem was lock on front door which didn't always open until several attempts. Front door sticks shut and needs a hefty yank to open sometimes.

We stayed during hurricane Ian's landfall. The host checked on us often to make sure we were faring well. The house withstood the storm well and oak island was quick to recover.

2022 Oak Island vacation

Everything was great and as listed. the only thing I did not like was the spiral stairs. I knew from the listing this house had these stairs, so it was not a surprise. My wife and I just used the downstairs bedroom and bath. If you have more people staying this could be an issue.

Perfect!!

We had the best time. Our rental was perfect, view was perfect, and we were able to take out fur babies! Best vacation ever!!! Oak Island is a beautiful place!
