Wonderful cabin with everything you need. Gorgeous views out every window.
Charm and character of this cabin added to our Maine experience. We were lulled asleep to the sound of ocean waves in very comfortable beds. Been to this area of Maine many times but this cabin gave us new areas to explore. Wildlife abounds. Deer, eagles, seal, herons, and foxes were all spotted during our stay. Overall experience was an A++.
This cottage was described as quaint, rustic, and whimsical. I would add charming, cozy, comfortable, unique and lovely to the list. It is literally steps from the sea with large panorama windows to sit in front of for the non-stop views. The cottage is very well equipped and everything in it works very well. It is convenient to two small grocery stores and an easy drive to the Schoodic side of Arcadia but, frankly, there's not a lot of reason to do much driving. We slept like babies in a cradle every night listening to the sound of the waves right outside the master window. We stayed a week and could have easily stayed a month! If you have mobility issues with stairs, you may wish to communicate with the property owners in advance to understand the stairs/bedroom locations. I would give John 6 stars for "Communication with Property Manager" if I could. The whole experience was top notch and we highly recommend this place.
