South Loft: Cozy, two-person loft with deck overlooking the beach

Built in the 1930’s, the Face Rock Retreat triplex is a three-level home situated in the cliffs along scenic Beach Loop Drive. In addition to stunning views of one the most spectacular and interesting beaches on the Oregon Coast, this property boasts rare private access that allows you to be on the beach in less than a minute!

Located on the third level of the Face Rock Retreat triplex, the North Loft offers a cozy, hotel suite style room with semi-private deck offering incredible views of the ocean and Bandon’s famous rock formations and spires. Renovated in 2018, new furnishings and décor create a fusion of rustic cabin and modern design elements.

South Loft amenities include queen bed, full-size leather couch, 39" flat screen TV with Spectrum Silver channels and Blu-ray player, free local and long-distance phone service, high speed Internet/Wi-Fi, hair dryer and deck chairs. And although it does not have a kitchen, it does have a microwave, mini-fridge with freezer, and a coffee pot.

If you are traveling as a foursome, consider reserving the North Loft right next door.

Fabulous View
We picked this place for the view and it was exactly what we wanted. The space is quite small, but it worked fine for 2 people for a weekend. BEWARE of the auto-locking front door!!! We had a great time.

This is the sweetest cottage in literally THE BEST location in Bandon. The cottage is very clean and has everything you need to enjoy an easy getaway. This is the second time I have stayed here and I absolutely love it.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Cozy and scenic. Small, but had everything we needed for two people. Breathtaking views right from the couch. Suggestion: I would add a second luggage rack for a second person. No where to put another suitcase. And maybe add a toaster for breakfast. We would stay here again.

It was magical to stay in such a beautiful location. The beach and ocean were beautiful at sunset. I loved picking fresh blackberries beside the house on the way to the beach. Our stay was comfy and restful. Great location in a smaller coastal town.

Bandon Loft
We really enjoyed our time at the loft on Bandon Beach. The location is perfect overlooking the rocks. Lord Bennett's restaurant right across the street has excellent seafood. Walked on the beach and hiked the nature trail nearby. Very cozy and relaxing.

Everything you need for a 2 person stay! The view is fabulous, access to the beach can't be beat, and the sound of the ocean is so peaceful. Bandon and surrounding area is fun, and friendly. We enjoyed Tony's for lunch and Edgewater's for dinner, and we would love to come back to stay again!

Right on the beach!
Absolutely loved it! We really liked having access to the beach for walks every day. There was a nice deck off the back of rental to watch sunsets. The room was cozy. Loved the little kitchenette. The town of Bandon was very nice with lots of good restaurants and a quaint downtown area. Would recommend this place!

Loved that we were a stairway away from the beach. The views were incredible. Loved being able to see and hear the waves pounding the beach. Having Lord Bennett's right across the street was so convenient and delicious. Can't wait until our next stay.

Absolutely amazing view! Loft is cozy and just as described. Parking is a little tight, especially for larger SUV's, but loved the place.

A genuine cabin with a great location right on the beach. Two studies were also available right above it and a family room, separated from the main living space, beneath it. In all, an inviting property that allowed family members to come together but provided private spaces as well.

This is the second time we stayed ... Fortunately we had a flashlight, as the overhead light was burned out, making it difficult to enter the keycode. We will know to bring a can opener next time. Beautiful Bandon
We've lived in Oregon for over 26 years and have never visited Bandon before. We are so glad we did! Such a beautiful beach and the locals were so kind. The property was perfect for our stay. Very clean with breathtaking views. Would have liked for the bed to be a little more comfortable, but it was perfect for 2 nights :)

Right on the beach can’t be beat!
Being able to walk down the stairs directly to the beach was invaluable. Everything worked, basic amenities, nice linens. Friendly gull we named Clive checked in around each meal time. Convenient and well marked parking space, 100% of info needed in email sent ahead. Lord Bennett’s is closed on Wednesday and Thursday, heads up on that, and everything else was closed by the time we figured that out but grocery store folks helpful!

amazing anniversary getaway
My husband and I went on a getaway to the Oregon Coast for some golfing and exploring. The room was clean and just as promised.. Basically a hotel room but that is what we wanted. Being right on the beach was a big bonus. After a day of golfing and exploring and eating at a local restaurant nothing beats sitting on the balcony to watch the sunset. Would highly recommend this place
