Classic Beach Bungalow, 1/2 block away from the sand, located in the middle of gorgeous Silver Strand Beach. Silver Strand Beach is a mile long beach, this property is located in the middle between "La Janelle" and "The Jetty". One of a kind single story beach home with newer faux wood floors in living and kitchen area, light and breezy fans in every room, tastefully decorated with flat screen TVs in living room and master bedroom. Eat in kitchen area with two bar stools and cafe dining table that seats four. Kitchen is equipped with stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, Keurig Coffee maker, and all the necessities. 1st bedroom has a bunk bed and a single bed, master bedroom has a queen bed that sleeps two, and 3rd bedroom has a trundle bed that sleeps two. Nice size backyard equipped with fire pit and Bar-B-Q. Lovely outdoor seating area that adds to the relaxed beach living . Washer & Dryer in garage. Bikes, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, and a wagon to cart everything in down to the beach! Parking for four cars in the driveway, plus one car in garage... Enjoy photographs of beaches from around the world in this relaxing beach cottage!!

Fun at the beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The property is cozy while still having enough room for all 6 of us. The parking is ample. There were lots of beach amenities avaliable with easy access to the beach from the property. The check out requirements were super easy (probably the easiest we've ever experienced). I highly recommend this property.

Another wonderful stay

This is our 2nd stay at this cozy comfortable house. The house has everything we need - plenty of room, a great kitchen, outside patio for relaxing and close to the beach. I can't imagine staying anywhere else.

We enjoyed our stay in Silverstrand. The house was very clean and it was so close to the sand. It had a lot of nice extra touches such as coffee pods, beach towels, and bikes. The owner was very nice.

I’ve stayed at this property as a guest of the renter a few years ago and was just as impressed this time as I was then with the cleanliness and efficiency. Will definitely rent again.

Great accommodations and location!

Pleasantly surprised by a well supplied large kitchen. Many amenities. It was perfect for our family and just a short walk to beach. Fire pit in back was a plus with clear directions for use. Would definitely stay here again.

Paradise at the beach!

We booked Aaron's house for a week at the beach visiting family in the area. The house was just perfect- clean, comfortable, roomy, with relaxing outdoor space. Convenient parking but an easy walk to the beach. Anything we needed was a short drive away and we were provided with info on local hot spots! Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy a home away from home. I would recommend this place 100% and hope I can get back here again myself!

Shirt walk to the beach

Easy check in, loved the outdoor area in the back with the fire pit. One full size bathroom, one shower, tub for 5 people, not ideal. The half bath in one of the bedrooms was so tiny, my husband is a big guy and he almost got stuck in there! The door opens too close to the toilet, you can barely stand up! The kitchen could use better cookware with appropriate lids and better dinner plates. other than that we made it work! On the downside beware of tar on the beach, sticks to your feet like gum! I researched and found out olive oil removed it! I brought a bottle of olive oil from home and it came in handy! Be sure to bring extra toilet paper. The main bathroom only had two rolls for 5 people for 4 days. It was reasonable in price and great weather. No regrets.

Girl's weekend oasis

I treated 2 friends to a birthday weekend. Aaron's house was just as described, and some. It is a cozy, peaceful get-away place, with comfy couches and beds, in close proximity to beach bike paths, wineries and nearby Ventura night life. One reason we chose Aaron's place was because it had bikes and helmets to use. They could use a little tender love and care, but we were happy to be able to explore areas away from Silver Strand (bike locks and a seat adjustment wrench would be helpful, but this is a bike geek writing). The whole weekend my friends kept saying what a good find Aaron's place was. The backyard fire pit and BBQ were reaching out to us, but there was just not enough time to enjoy it all. We would come back in a heart beat. Thanks, Aaron, for creating this lovely, relaxing beach oasis!

Beautiful Quiet Beach Getaway

We were so impressed with the close proximity to the beach, the quiet neighborhood, and the nice beach home! The host provided so many amazing things including coffee pods, fresh bottled water, bikes, beach chairs and wagon, beach towels, washer & dryer, and outdoor fire pit. This added to the relaxing home away from home feel! And the beach at Silver Strand was beautiful, clean, and quiet! We will definitely try to return soon!

Great place but had a few snags

The property is in a great place. It’s walking distance from the beach and the neighborhood is very calm. We even got to see some sea life on the drive there. The hosts are also kind enough to provide quite a few beach amenities. The biggest issue we had (which did influence our opinion on it a bit) was the cleanliness. The floors were sticky, the dishes were dirty and had dried up food on them. And the worst part was there were quite a few ants in the kitchen, dining, and living room area. We also only had enough toilet paper and paper towel for about 2 days (given there were 8 of us). This isn’t really a big issue but a heads up that we had to buy more would’ve been nice since we didn’t notice until we needed it.

Second time at this beach house

Again, I have ended my stay at this great beach house relaxed, refreshed, and a little tanner. I will continue to book stays here. The location is ideal. I went kayaking (Hoppers Rental) twice at Channel Islands Harbor. I tried Janelles the new vegan restaurant down the street from the house- get the bagel sandwich with pickled onions. We hit the water everyday and honestly would compare the clarity to Hawaii. The beach is so clean and the water is some of the cleanest in Southern California. Great stay! Thank you. Oh and we had a little dog with us- perfect house for him :)

Peaceful Bliss

What a great find! I live 40 min. away and it’s crazy hot this time of year. I escaped for a little staycation and had the most relaxing time. The beach gear (towels, chairs, coolers, umbrellas, toys, and wagon) was a great bonus- it made packing so easy. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire in the backyard. We also took many walks around Channel Islands Harbor- search for Seabridge Park (parking and bathrooms). I booked another stay at this great house in two weeks. My favorite part…the quiet at night- it was heaven!

We purchased the "Cottage" because of our love of the Ocean.. Nestled in a lovely area, Silverstrand was just what we were looking for. As native Californians and born and raised in the Ventura we were thrilled to be able to purchase and share our home.

As "beachcomber fanatics" the vistas and wonderful community is just what we were looking for. We have decorated and stalked the home for all your needs, from bikes, chairs, WIFY, lovely backyard with fire pit.. We have had the good fortune to travel the world to some of the most lovely beaches, we have decorated the walls with our travels, we feel that the beach at "Silverstrand" is spectacular with views of the Channel Islands, dolphins surfing just steps from our home.. Bliss..
