Great flat in Camberwell

We loved the flat - quiet street and so convenient for both the train and the bus. We had some great food at local restaurants and the Stormbird has a great selection of beers. The owners were really helpful with everything and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Cozy well equipped flat

Friendly informative reception. Well equipped comfortable stay away from the rush of tourists. Travel into London on buses above ground with frequent buses a refreshing change from the underground.

Compact and cute flat

We enjoyed our stay here - the flat is comfortable and homey, with a lot of personal touches which made it feel like staying with friends. All amenities worked well and everything we could have needed was provided. The neighborhood was fun and full of interesting restaurants and pubs -- loved the Pigeon Hole Cafe for breakfast. Plenty of buses nearby to take you to other parts of town. Our only caveat is that you need to be steady on your feet for this one -- the stairs are narrow and a bit slippery, and the bathtub is very slippery. Overall, an excellent place to stay!

Hi, We found the flat perfect for dropping our daughter to college at Ual. It had everything we needed, and help when we got locked out. I spoke with the owner and she was lovely. Fabulous

This is a lovely flat,nicely situated in a charming area of Camberwell. Liz has decorated the apartment to be inviting with everything a traveller needs while visiting London,including a well stocked fridge and larder!plenty of bedding and towels, comfortable bed and seating, and pretty view our of the sitting room window. It was especially convenient for us as we were attending a wedding at st gile's church! It is also very conveniently placed for buses to central London and the overland train at Denmark hill stn. Sally was so helpful with routes and general information(thankyou!!) We really enjoyed our stay in such a lovely and we'll thought out apartment, and could thoroughly recommend it to anyone needing to stay in London. Joe and Gilly

Comfortable flat for exploring London

This 4-room (kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room) apartment was a great location from which to explore the tourist sights in London. Quiet and safe, nicely furnished (esp. the kitchen), and Liz was very responsive and helpful. The location is a few miles from city-center, but, once we got used to using our Oyster Cards and the bus/train schedules, getting around London was straightforward and inexpensive. Grocery stores, shops and a few restaurants are within easy walking distance. The instructions for using the appliances are thorough; one small thing we would add is that for the stove burners to be ignited, one needs to depress the red switch on the wall behind it. Also, the narrow stairway up to the apartment is a bit awkward when transporting large pieces of luggage.

Tolle Wohnung, gute Lage

Die Wohnung ist optimal ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Bushaltestelle ist 300 m entfernt und da kommt alle 5 Minuten ein Bus. Busse und die U- und S-Bahnen sind in die Google Maps App integriert, von daher kann man die Ausflüge optimal planen. Zur Overground sind es 600 m, die haben wir aber eigentlich nur für die Fahrten zum Flughafen genutzt. Bei unserer Ankunft waren die Besitzer da - sehr nett, zuvorkommend und unkompliziert.

Great Home Away From Home

This is our second two week stay here. It has all the amenities you need to set up you up as a London resident. It has internet (the best we have experienced in Europe), a television, washer/drying combo, dishwasher, refrigerator, range top, oven, micro wave, coffee maker, Wifi speaker, toaster oven and more. It is close to an overground station that provides easy access to greater London and is close to a number of restaurants and a major grocery store. It doesn’t take you long to feel like a resident of London.

Excellent clean flat with everything you need.

The location was excellent for my wife's need to be near the University of Arts, Camberwell. The location is also close to public transportation options to allow for access to the City center. The flat has everything you need. We stayed for two weeks and really appreciated the wifi, washer/dryer combo, well stocked linen and a stocked refrigerator and pantry. The flat is nicely and simply decorated. It felt like home to us immediately.

Close to public transportation

My husband and I enjoyed staying in this clean, comfortable and well-equipped flat. The manager met us on arrival, gave us keys and showed us around. She also gave us extensive bus information which was quite helpful – and the bus stop is right at the end of the block. The train station is also nearby, but generally we preferred the leisurely bus ride through various parts of London we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. We didn’t venture too far from the flat on foot, but did find a couple of fun restaurants. With a few days longer stay I think we would have explored the neighborhood more. I especially appreciated the reliable wi-fi connection, and all the openable windows (we hit London’s heat wave).

The flat presented all as advertised and more!

This charming flat is well appointed and the location is excellent in terms of access to public transport. Good amenities within walking distance. Access to London is straightforward and quick. The only negative would be the tub can be a little slippery. Great stay!!!
