Perfect Location

This was a perfect location for us. Close to down town Fort Collins, UCHealth and Colorado State University. We were nearby our friends and family, allowing us easy trips to family gatherings and the independence of being in our own space. Easy access to Poudre Canyon, Estes Park and also southern Wyoming for fly fishing and hiking.

Wild Dandelion

This was a fantastic stay! Very neat and tidy space with all the amenities we could ever need. Mini fridge, board games, fireplace, the list goes on and on. Anne was incredibly friendly and easy to communicate with, and made sure we were comfortable several times. The location is quiet and peaceful. We will be sure to come visit again, as this is exactly the place we try to stay when we travel. Thank you so much for accommodating us!

A quiet location in a great city.

I have stayed here in the past and decided to return because of the location and the hosts. This vrbo is close enough to old Town to walk on a warm day of you are inclined or the bikes offered make it super easy to enjoy a biking Brewery tour. The hosts are accommodating and friendly.

cozy, convenient haven

While visiting my CSU student, Wild Dandelion Suite provided a great location, simple conveniences (fridge, microwave, and coffee maker) plus comfortable, updated furniture, tv, streaming services, games, books. Ann's hospitality was over the top with quality bath products, drinks, treats, and even homemade banana bread! I appreciated the simple entrance and felt very safe. For the price, this was a great value and I will definitely book with Wild Dandelion when I return!

A perfect weekend wedding getaway

Anne was easy to work with from the time of booking and throughout our stay. This place is nicer than the pictures show and we would stay here again! Very clean and comfortable with lots of special touches. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe. We mostly used Uber for the short rides each day to Old Town, but also walked it once, and could have used the bikes.

Convenient for CSU parents

Easy access and location to CSU and town. Amazing communication. Luxurious linens. Basement level accommodations. No kitchen, but there is a coffee area with dishes, fridge, etc. Big TV, 2 couches. Fans, no a.c., but we stayed cool. Patio. Street parking. Owner has a big dog. Small corner shower in small basement level bathroom, fine for us as we are petite people. Great place!

Friendly hosts.

I stayed here because I enjoy the hospitality of owners versus hotels. The hosts were awesome! Offered me boiled chicken eggs for breakfast to take with me, showed me their hens and gardens. I even got to enjoy a rain storm in their back yard. It's the little things that make a stay pleasant and they accommodated.

Definitely worth coming back!

This is a great place to stay. Anne and Jim are super hosts and the place is very comfortable and clean. The stairs can be a little tricky for small ones but the yard and proximity to the park more than makes up for that. Having chickens to check adds to the appeal. Plus it is very close to my daughter’s home and within minutes of shopping and restaurants. I was quite pleased and hope to return next spring.

Everything we needed and MORE!

It was really great to stay at Anne's cozy B&B. It was clean and very comfortable and the location was just perfect . . . close to old town and axe throwing and bike trails. We loved riding the bikes and Anne was very helpful in sharing tips on where to go. Even though it was basement, the space felt bright and cheerful. We really appreciated the coffee in the morning and the array of "Fort Collins" books & maps to orient. Thank you, Anne, for your kind hospitality!!

Excellent Stay - "Like Walking Into a Big Hug!"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wild Dandelion. It was two adults and two teenaged girls staying here to visit our daughter at CSU for Family Weekend and Homecoming. The location, comfort, cleanliness, and overall space were great in every way. Anne is a wonderful host and communicated with us ahead of time so that our flow from Denver Airport to Fort Collins and to the Wild Dandelion was smooth. Anne made us feel welcomed. The Wild Dandelion is very nicely furnished and Anne went the extra mile to provide us with information about the area, use of things we might have forgotten (like shopping bags), bottled water, and fresh baked muffins. We will definitely book the Wild Dandelion for future visits to FoCo and CSU. The town of Ft. Collins is terrific and the Wild Dandelion is a gem of a place! It's a great location to use as your base for exploration!

This property is miss leading. Description stated it was in a 5 year old neighborhood the home is in a neighborhood that is a minimum of 35 years old. The owner requires you to take your shoes off before entering the apartment. I was unable to do this as I have a prosthetic. I needed to make other arrangements. And was not refunded any of my money. I am very sad about my time dealing with this Property owner. Was able to make other arrangements for my stay and had a very wonderful time.

About the host

Your host

Host profile image
We love to travel and usually stay in VRBO or Airbnbs. It is such a better experience to get to know the local area! I grew up in Illinois but have lived in Colorado for over 30 years, and in Fort Collins area now for more than 15 years. My 2 children are now launched and living outside the state, but we love to travel together in and outside the U.S. Jim and I have been hosting for over 3 years as Super host on another website, and thought we would advertise here as well. We love being active outdoors- snow skiing, snowboarding, paddle boarding, trail running, and of course trail biking.

Why they chose this property

I bought the house 8 years ago and fell in love with the gardens and all the potential. We have 5 chickens, 2 dogs and a cat and really enjoy running or biking trails within 1 block of our house. And the wonderful Horsetooth Reservoir is just 15 minute drive away.

What makes this property unique

My property is in a 5-year old neighborhood with many mature trees and gardens that give us ideal walking space to stroll with dogs and take in our sunny days and warm spring, summer and fall evenings.
It is great to sit out on the front porch and watch what little foot traffic we have, or the back patio and enjoy the chickens running the yard :).
