This 2 storey Lake house includes generous open plan living upstairs - stay toasty by the fire and admire the lake views, or dine al fresco with ample room on the deck for cruisy summer BBQ's! Bedroom 3 offers an additional living space as well as plenty of beds - the perfect set up for the kids to relax and spend days indoors.

Enjoying a lakeside position take a stroll or bike rides along the waters edge. Spend your days on the complimentary kayaks or simply kick back on the generous sundeck and gaze at the peaceful scenery. You are just a 10 minute drive into the town centre - everything you need for a fun, refreshing, and family friendly haven awaits.

Beautiful Spot

There is no doubt this home has a lovely outlook across the lake and great access to bike tracks etc... We met with family from Wellington as it was a great halfway spot. The home is large enough for two families and the use of bikes and kayaks was a great bonus too. If staying here for any length of time bring board games etc... as there are none on offer. The kitchen had a major ant problem so make use of the two fridges as ants will attack anything left out for any length of time. A little bit of maintenance is needed around the place, the umbrella is broken and dishwasher needed to be fixed before use. If you are sensitive to noise at night, keep in mind there is a busy road directly behind too, I know this is mentioned in the listing though. Certainly what let down the experience was the agency, Bachcare did not reply to one message I sent them via Bookabach. Getting answers was difficult.

Taupo - 5 Mile

We really enjoyed the size and space of the property and its proximity to the lake. Well equipped and suited our needs. Would definitely recommend the property and will visit again.

The location was superb, The property was excellent. Spacious and fairly well equipped. The property was under new management so there were a few maintenance issues but these were dealt with promplty and witha smile. We loved also having the use of the kayak, surf ski, bikes and bbq
