Our Vineyard Cottage with new Sundance spa! Furnished, Three bedrooms with room to relax or work from home. It's perfect for one or two adults--with 30 day minimums. Escape to Santa Ynez, where the pace of life is slower, and great food and wineries are the norm. Seeing tractors and horses going down the road is all part of the small town lifestyle we love so much. Stay in our cottage in the vineyard, overlooking the horses, and let any stress melt away.

Starfall Guest cottage is perfect for those who appreciate serenity, charm, and privacy in a luxury destination. The cottage is a detached 3 Bedroom, 1-1/2 bath two story guest house, with a covered outdoor room that guests love. Charmingly modern country cottage in the heart of Santa Ynez overlooking a vineyard on a small horse ranch--all just minutes from the best shops and restaurants in the Valley! It's really the perfect location. Note: we are now doing 30 day minimums, with a max of 12 months.
$4300/month includes all utilities including weekly spa service and furnishings. Central heat/air, and whole house generator also included.

The cottage has three bedrooms and a half bath upstairs--plus a full bath with shower, on the main level with a fully stocked kitchen, and open, bright living space--opening via French doors, to a charming, private covered patio outdoor room--overlooking the vineyard. There's a gas fire pit with sparkling fire glass, to enjoy great conversation on our cool nights--as well as two mesmerizing, dancing fire heaters. There is an outdoor TV, and blue tooth speaker, along with a small electric grill, a hammock, and lots of comfy furniture. Because it’s always chilly at night—no matter the time of year—you’ll find tons of cozy blankets and throws throughout the cottage and the patio.

Being just a short mile or so from town, you'll love exploring Santa Ynez--an authentic western town—where you can see cowboys moseying down the street on their horses, or tying up at the very fun Maverick bar. You’ll enjoy browsing the beautiful and very unique shops along Sagunto—including custom jewelry at Charlotte's, trendy clothing, and even a custom western hat maker. You’ll surely find many things to remind you of our magical Valley to take home with you--and should definitely plan time for exploring the shops of Santa Ynez! Our rural neighborhood is also popular with horse riders, dog walkers, and joggers--and sometimes a tractor heading to a nearby field. We don't allow pets, so we can accommodate our guests who have pet allergies.

Located inside the 246/154 triangle, where the land is flat, and winds are gentle--we are an easy walk or bike ride through the nearby rural neighborhood, where all can enjoy our beautiful weather! If you enjoy wine tasting at some of the most gorgeous vineyards in the country, horseback riding, bicycle tours, great hiking, farm to table 5 star restaurants, fun at Cachuma Lake, the Chumash Casino with concerts, spa, and restaurants, the famous Maverick bar, local festivals, and more—you won’t have to go far to do it all. And Santa Barbara Harbor is a beautiful 30-40 minute drive for your ocean adventures.

With a serene, fenced, private covered patio room overlooking the vineyard, with a mountain view in the distance, fully stocked kitchen, and central air--Starfall Cottage is the perfect home base for all your wine country adventures! Ample private parking right outside the cottage door is included. You'll enter via your long, private driveway which takes you right to the Cottage door. The ranch has Ring driveway floodlight cams for your peace of mind at night. Past guests always remark on the peace and serenity of our little slice of Heaven--and we hope you'll enjoy Starfall Ranch as much as we do! The night sky is full of stars, and you'll enjoy the sounds of the country as you star gaze and sample the wines you discovered on this trip. FYI, our ranch has a brand new whole house generator that also covers the Cottage, so no worries, should PGE need to cut power.

We have Skyline Satellite, the fastest WiFi available, along with a mesh router system, so you'll have no trouble staying connected if you choose. TV service is Smart TVs for you to bring your passwords and enjoy any streaming apps you like. There are 4 flat screen TVs.

Down the main house driveway past the stone entrance, the Owners’ house is surrounded by 4 pastures where the super friendly horses, Alex, Boss, Cash, Beau, and Dulce live. While we don’t offer our herd to ride—we can refer you to some great trail riding outfits just down the road. And you’re always welcome to visit all of our horses--but please don't feed them, no matter how charmingly they ask! Horse therapy is truly the best therapy!

Because we cater to quality guests, we never micromanage our guests--yet we are nearby, should you need anything at all. If you’re into cars, John is always happy to show and talk race cars—or Porsches!

We're an easy, traffic free mile and a half from the great restaurants of Santa Ynez--SY Kitchen, Red Barn, Grappalo's, Dos Carlitos, Lucky Hen Larder, the very fun Billiards Cafe, 5 star wine tasting rooms, unique shopping, the famous Maverick bar, etc. It's just another 5 minutes or so to the cute town of Los Olivos with 40+ tasting rooms and galleries. Also about 5 minutes away is Solvang with its large variety of wonderful restaurants and shops.

Starfall Ranch has easy access to great local vineyards, with their own tasting rooms, hiking, horse riding, Cachuma Lake, world class shopping, etc., yet is just 30-40 minutes from the famous beaches of Santa Barbara--where you can enjoy stand up paddle boards, ocean kayaks, deep sea fishing, whale watching--or a sunset cruises on a Catamaran!

This is a non-smoking property, and we respect the Valley quiet hours from 9 pm to 9 am. Please remember, until confirmed, rates are subject to change, and dates remain open for other bookings.

NOTE: We employ professional housekeepers who deep clean and sanitize between guests. We also keep a minimum of 48 hours between our guests to allow for sanitizing, and to open windows to allow fresh air breezes. During booking you'll have the opportunity to purchase CFAR travel insurance (Cancel for any reason). We do recommend the trip insurance, as we enforce our cancellation policy. Cancellation more than 30 days out will be a full refund. CFAR insurance is a great peace of mind. We think Starfall Cottage is located in the perfect location--with your own private driveway and parking area--on a private street, hidden behind a rural neighborhood, popular with walkers and horse riders, who love our quiet, flat streets and our beautiful weather.
