Located on the building’s 1st floor with 5 steps up to the entrance, Southtown Studio Especial has everything needed for a home-away-from-home experience. An elegant and fully equipped kitchen, open living area with queen bed and full-size sleeper sofa, and private 3-piece bath are styled with modern, high-end design and meticulous attention to detail. Free Wi-Fi, Spectrum cable, and an HDMI cable to iPhone connector is readily available to watch TV shows and movies on the TV from your phone. Very comfortable. I cleaned the shower floor on second use. Originally felt slick from soap film. Fine after that. I didn’t drink any of the water (bottled). Unknown if use was an additional fee. The apt was very cute and functional. The building was very nostalgic. Excellent neighborhood. Easy walk to downtown via Riverwalk.

This location was perfect: a beautiful, fun, safe neighborhood. We were able to walk to the River Walk, the Pearl Brewery, etc. Great restaurants and bars just minutes from the room too. And the hosts were awesome, offering up some great recommendations!

The perfect little retreat!
My husband and I came to stay for a work event and it was just what we needed. You could walk to just about anywhere in downtown but the apartment felt safe and out of the way! The bathroom was small but was efficient and the host was efficient and quick to respond when we had a need. The bead was comfortable and the area was quiet at night.

The property is great and close by to many different opportunities in downtown san antonio. Despite some slight confusion with entering the property, the host was gracious and helped walk us along what we were doing incorrectly. The apartment is small but well organized, the kitchen comes fully stocked with utensils, cookware and some supplies.

Quiet and Convenient Location
This cozy little studio was very quiet and reasonably priced, and it's located in a lovely neighborhood that is conveniently located to the Riverwalk, the Alamo, etc. The check-in process was easy, and the hosts were very responsive to questions. While we didn't need it, it was nice to know that we had access to the laundry area as well.

Thoroughly enjoyed our two day stay at Joe and Stephanie's efficiency unit in the gorgeous and peaceful Southtown neighborhood in San Antonio!! Everything was nice and clean when we arrived. We had an issue with the water pressure when we got in and Joe came out and fixed it promptly. We never had any other issues the rest of the weekend and appreciates the quick service from our hosts.
