Really large unit with plenty of space. Nice bathrooms, fairly easy 10 minute walk to the Peru lift. Our kids loved the pool! Really appreciated how well appointed it was with everything we needed for a week (we mostly cooked for ourselves). The electric grill on the balcony and the small in-unit washer dryer are something we won't live without in the future. The bedroom does sit above the garage which can be loud, but for how nice everything else was, it's a small compromise. Thanks for having us!
We were very pleasantly surprised with this property! Super clean! Much bigger than we expected. It was an easy walk to the Mountain House/Peru lift. We had adults and kids and all agreed it was better than walking from gondola parking to the gondola. It is a little older but in great shape and very clean with some updates. Nice living room furniture. Kitchen properly stocked with dishes etc. Pool and hot tub were great, you do have to walk outside and around back of building but that was not a big deal.
We really enjoyed our stay! Condo was clean, well stocked, and in a very nice location. Walkable to the the pub next door, the Mexican restaurant and small market across the street, and a very short walk to Mountain House lodge.
The indoor pool, hot tub and sauna at the nearby clubhouse were great for the whole family (two adults and two boys, ages 16 and 12). Layout was nice - primary bedroom was at the front of the condo away from the second bedroom. Both bathrooms have nice, deep soaking tubs, too - a welcome surprise!
Only negative (and not something they can really change) is that the main bedroom being at the front near the stairs made for a bit of noise in the mornings when everyone is clunking up and down the metal steps with their gear. Pretty minor.
Overall a very nice stay. Loved the location and would stay again!
The condo is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and conveniently located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our group was 4 adults, but the condo would be large enough to accommodate easily 6 people, with 2 using the sleeper couch.
The walk from the condo to the Mountain House ski area base is very manageable, although the first part of the walk can be icy depending on weather conditions.
Comments in earlier reviews that the allocated car space in the underground garage is very tight if you have a large vehicle, and that the bathroom tiles are cold in winter, are both valid. However, we had plenty of space to park our vehicle in the outside building parking lot as an alternative to the garage, and several floor mats do mitigate the cold floor tiles.
This was a family trip with 6 adults and a 17 year old. The condo did not feel overly crowded. The dishwasher was running on arrival which saved us questions about re-washing dishes. The in-unit w/d combo was really handy. It is an apartment-sized stackable. Our only frustration was with the "futon." It was really just three squares of ~4 inch thick foam in fabric that unfolded like a fan. There were no sheets for the sofa sleeper or "futon" but there were plenty of blankets to make do. I have no doubt that had we called, they would have accommodated. Departure clean-up is reasonable. Wi-fi was good enough to accommodate all of us. They provide good wood for the fireplace. Bring your own lighter/matches/firestarters. The kitchen is well appointed. The unit is directly above the garage so there is some door noise but nothing terribly intrusive. However, the result is a very chilly bathroom and bathroom floor. It was chilly even with leaving doors open to improve airflow. The condo itself was comfortable otherwise.
The location is about a 10 minute walk to the Mountain House. They offer a discount code for one of the local gear rental agencies. Getting across Hwy 6 is challenging. The Mexican restaurant is good. Snake River Saloon was excellent and an easy walk. Goat Soup and Whiskey was pub food (no goat on the menu).
The management company was very responsive to messages. We would absolutely use them again.
My sons and I loved the unit. We would definitely consider staying there again. One comment on the check in process: I had to stop at the rental office to pick up an envelope with relevant info and the numeric code for the door key pad. It seems this could have been done via email rather than setting an additional location in my map app and taking the time to stop. There may be a good reason for this and it’s not a deal breaker.
Happy Skiing!!
The host is extremely responsive, helpful, and flexible. The home has everything you could need. The location is a quick walk to the Peru lift. Fantastic!
Stayed for 6 days with my dad and brother for skiing at Keystone. Arrival Instructions and check in were pretty good and we found the place easily. The condo was clean and comfortable with a great view of the Peru Express lift. Easy walk (in boots!) to the lift and close to the Keystone buses. Condo came well stocked with dishes, cooking tools and appliances, and bedding. The spa area (for the building) was also a great way to relax after miles of skiing. Would highly recommend for families, small groups.
Excellent space, cleanliness and very well organized kitchen. Everything as advertised or better. Able to make all meals in condo and never felt like we were missing something from home. Corner location on first floor with a fireplace was great to have views of the mountains and fire. Garage parking, pool, hot tub and sauna all great perks for the condo. Very reasonable walk to Peru lift and buses to River Run. Skied every day! Great vacation spot.
This condo is a fairly close walk to the slopes, considering Keystone doesn't have much housing right at the base of the slopes. It was a beautiful and easy path to Peru lift area.
The condo was clean and a had a good layout. Directions for check in were very thorough but I felt information could have been sent in an email rather than an extra stop at an office mailbox as the door has a keypad rather than a key. The beds were comfortable and the master suite was large. The furniture could be replaced throughout the condo for increased comfort and freshening update. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and cookware. It did not have any spices or pantry type supplies, so make sure to add those to your grocery list. You will also need to add fire starting supplies and bring your own cards, games, and books, if you want them. I appreciated the two humidifiers in the condo and there were ample linens supplied. The check out process was easy and communication was good. We enjoyed staying here.
