This apartment is located in a townhouse of around 1900 in a residential district known as the Museumkwartier (the Museum quarter). Several years ago the former upper-class family houses were divided into three apartments. Ours is in the middle.
The entrance of the house is characteristic for this period, with marble floors and a staircase leading to the front door and a small hall giving access to the main room, the bedroom and the sanitary facilities.
The main room is a combination of sitting room, dining room and kitchen. It has a polished parquet floor and double glass windows facing south with a small balcony viewing the street scene.
The bedroom and the adjacent spacious balcony overlooks private gardens. A relaxing spot for enjoying your happy hours.
The bedroom, high ceiling, blue-curtained windows, has a very comfortable bed.
The apartment and kitchen are fully equipped to guarantee a comfortable and wonderful stay.
The Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum and Van Gogh Museum are just a few minutes’ walk away. Also the Concertgebouw is very nearby.
The city’s main park, the Vondelpark, is a two minute walk and can be part of a lovely route into the city centre.
This luxurious and charming apartment, is situated on walking distance from the city center and the cultural highlights of Amsterdam.
Amsterdam is a city for walkers and cyclists. The location of the apartment provides an excellent operating base to explore the city.

But if you prefer getting around by tram, the tram stop of tramline 2, at a two minutes’ walk at the crossing with the Cornelis Schuytstraat, can be a starting point of discovering Amsterdam by public transport. According to National Geographic tramline 2 is one of the best tram rides in the world.
Qualified restaurants and food stores are in abundance available in the direct neighbourhood.
