Nice residence two-story 2 bedrooms 3 bath

Arrived there were very pleasantly surprised beautiful complex very few people beautiful swimming pool located just north of the main part of town little bit quieter which is kind of nice but plenty of food available very close by across the street

Excellent spacious apartment close to pool and beach

The duplex apartment, next to an excellent pool, was spacious and comfortable. Air conditioners and showers worked well and beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped, sitting area comfortable and TV and internet worked well. Bottled water, coffee, tea, bananas and mangosteen were provided for us which was very thoughtful and there was shampoo, soap and hand-wash left for us in the bathrooms and kitchen. There were also plenty of towels. All this was much appreciated. The apartment could have done with a little more furniture and pictures etc down stairs to make it feel more homely. It was clean and well maintained if a little dated. Reception were very helpful and the staff at the resort were very friendly too. There were few other guests staying at the resort whilst we were there (rainy season) which meant we had the large pool and surrounds to ourselves most of the time. However the rainy season also meant the sea was not so inviting with some erosion on the beach and signs warning of jelly fish. The apartment is further south (just beyond the Rock Hotel, towards Khao Takiap) than indicated on the HomeAway web-site map. This should be corrected. However the location was excellent, more peaceful than Hua Hin but easily accessible to Hua Hin by local transport, within walking distance of the Cicada market and an easy stroll along the beach to Khao Takiab where there are good restaurants. We usually only prepared breakfast in the apartment as the nearest restaurant Madam Green's (seafood overlooking the sea) was excellent cheap and very convenient. If you want to buy seafood to cook at home, there is an excellent sea food market in Khao Takiap selling a whole range of different types of prawns, crabs and squid.
