We enjoyed the home. The driveway is kind of steep, but plenty of parking. Following the written directions took us right to the property and had no problems entering. The rooms are exactly as described. The master room is on the bottom level and other two rooms are upstairs. The upstair rooms were not as cool as the lower part and the bunk room did not have a ceiling fan. It was clean for the most part and had a nice table set up when we arrived. The wrap around porch was nice with fans and the hot tub worked well. Unfortunately, the propane tank for the grill was empty even though we were told there would be propane provided. We did find a steak knife on the arcade game when we arrived which was a little alarming as that could have been an issue with kids. And the upstairs railing was questionable as it was a little loose. We enjoyed our stay and the wildlife.
We chose this location near Beavers Bend state park to experience the 2024 eclipse because my husband and sons have gone there in the past to fly fish the river. We also like to hike. This location was perfect for us. The Wildwood cabin is very comfortale and clean and was just right with the outdoor playset for our toddler granddaughter, although the cedar playset needs some repair.. We were able to view the eclipse from the front porch of the house.
Cabin was fully equipped, spacious and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
We had a wonderful stay! Staff quickly answered questions and concerns. Great for families.
The kitchen is lacking a few supplies, nothing major. The grill also could be replaced.
Overall it was a great stay for the holiday.
The property was very nice but the stove didn't work so we had to eat out until we bought a gas stove to make the food we brought, so over all it cost us quite a bit of money that we were trying not to spend. You can't say there is kitchen if the stove doesn't work. But the house was very nice once we found it, lol.
The cabin was In a great location tucked away (really pay attention to directions) . Area was beautiful and we loved the deck around cabin. The kids loved it- playground great - bunk beds good. We enjoyed the cabin overall . I will say it was not as clean as we expected when we arrived- hot tub railing needs repair- fire pit still full of ash- towels left in dryer from previous stay.
The rooms were very accommodating! We had 4 adults and 2 infants under 12 months. There were plenty of kitchen tools and even a crock pot and griddle! The outdoor space was nice and the grill worked well! There were a few lights out that should have been replaced. The one over the kitchen sink was the biggest problem because it was hard to see when cleaning. It wasn't as clean as most cabins we have stayed in before. The floors were still pretty dirty and the vents were black with dust. Other than that it was a great place to stay! Location was good too because it was kind of on a hill and it was nice to feel up in the trees! Beautiful views!
Great place to get away. I have to really dig down to find a complaint. The only thing I would say is the fire pit is a little small in circumference but we still got a good fire going. Also, we had 6 adults, but there weren’t six wine glasses. Absolutely loved everything else about the place otherwise.
When we got to the house, there was a smell, could not find out what it was until the next day, when my husband found molded tea bags in a pan under the cabinet. Cabin in general just needs a good cleaning. Which made our stay where I felt like I just needed to clean. Master needs a new matress, little lumpy and my husbands back in now hurting.
The cabin was as described, beautiful location, one neighbor is kind of close on the right. The directions to the cabin were easy to follow. Our kids loved the play set, foosball table and firepit.
Now the bad, this cabin although clean on the inside, it's in desperate need of maintenance. The deck, railing and stairs need repair in multiple places. Although fine for adults we would not return with kids until maintenance is performed.
Overall a nice cabin. We didn’t have any problems finding it. It’s a little close to a cabin to the right. Had the neighbors been quiet I don’t think it would have been an issue. Thanks for the stay! We would stay here again!
