The Palms #901 is a luxurious one-bedroom two-bath ground floor villa tucked away in a private and quiet corner in one of the nicest locations on the property. Often the only sound you will hear is the waves crashing on the nearby beaches. The Palms is one of the upscale resorts at Wailea with impeccably kept grounds and a luxurious chlorine-free pool. Lots of extras.

The spacious unit is 1022 square feet, and the wrap-around covered lanai provides another 450 square feet of island-style living space. The large lanai is perfect for breakfast, mid-afternoon relaxation, or a private dinner. It is surrounded by palm trees and remains in a cool shade all day making it a popular spot for our guests. It is furnished with outdoor furniture, and has two beach loungers suitable for sun bathing in the private grass area in front of the unit. It has a dining table and chairs and a top-of-the line gas grill.

THE PALMS AT WAILEA

The Palms is a 5 star condo resort located in the prestigious Wailea community on Maui. It is at a walking distance to some of the best beaches and golf courses in the world. The property is sparsely built on a 20+ acre natural hillside lot. The lushly landscaped grounds are meticulously maintained and adorned with year-around blooming tropical flowers. A sparkling stream and winding walkways cut across the property. A large chlorine-free swimming pool is surrounded by a sundeck with a hot tub. A tour desk is also on property to assist you with sightseeing and activities. All units are two-story Mediterranean townhome style buildings.

WAILEA RESORT COMMUNITY

Wailea boasts beautiful beaches, three championship golf courses, and a world-class tennis center. The hotels, shops and beaches of Wailea are within walking distance from the Palms. The hotels in Wailea offer many amenities including surfing lessons, scuba lessons, kayak and sailboat rentals, and whale-watching excursions. Wailea also has some of the best spas in the world. Many of the top restaurants on the island are located in Wailea. The Shops at Wailea offers a wide variety of shopping experiences.

Keawakapu, Mokapu, Ulua, and Wailea beaches are a short stroll from the Palms. Wailea beaches have been voted some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Wailea getaway.

The condo was a Little dated as far as decor inside, but that was to be expected as it was a little bit cheaper than some of the other properties. The lanai was very peaceful and quiet. Brian was very quick to respond to our questions and allowed us an early check-in and a late check out. The location of the Palms at Wailea is excellent and I would definitely stay at this property again.

Our stay at the Palms was such a nice treat! Brian, the property manager, was so helpful when we had questions. He called us back quickly when he could not answer. We found him to be friendly and professional. We will definitely return!

Shady Palms 901

This is one of the less "upgraded" units at the Palms. It has a nice garden level deck, but with no view and in the shade all day.It does however have easy access to the sunny pool area, and a short walk to the bottom of the property and across to probably the best beach on this side of Maui.

Old and tired

The condo that I stayed in was dated and in need of major upgrades. Here are a few of the things I noticed 1. Carpet was dirty needs to be ripped out 2. Dishwasher top rack was broken 3. Washer and dryer very old and dryer would not stay on even with just a few items in it. 4. Front bathroom was old. Vanity was pulling away from the wall. 5. Tiny ants in the kitchen living room, master bathroom. This was after Terminex came in and sprayed the second day we were there. The property was beautiful and the grounds were very well cared for. The outside of the buildings looked like it had recently been painted. But the condo I stayed in was not clean and very old needs remodeling. My friends stayed in a condo across the parking lot that was beautiful inside updated and no ants! The owner also texted me at 9:45 the day of departure making sure I knew I needed to clear out by 11:00. He was waiting in the parking lot to make sure I left on time. He did text back thanking me for leaving the place clean! Next time I rent a VRBO I will do a bit more research.

Dishwasher & toilet in need of repair

Overall was pretty good. We were disappointed that both the dishwasher could not be used because the top rack was broken, and the main toilet was not functioning. We feel both these items should’ve been addressed before our stay, but at the very least while we were here.

Amazing property

Great stay

Perfect location - pretty central to a lot of the main things. The pool is amazing and less than a minute walk from the condo. Brian (property manager) had everything in the unit that we needed for the beach and was easily reachable if we needed something. Also had all kitchen, cooking stuff, laundry, etc. AC unit in the bedroom was so nice and def a necessity. The condo itself is outdated so FYI if you care. However, its still nice and was VERY CLEAN! We spent most of our time out of it exploring/enjoying Maui, so didn’t find the need to stay in a newer place. Great stay overall!!

The condo is surprisingly roomy; high ceilings, large living area, kitchen, bedroom and baths. Well-stocked kitchen. Beach chairs, towels, coolers. Well-managed. Spectacular sunsets from the pool area.

at home in paradise

We absolutely loved our stay -- it was a perfect fit for our family of four. The pool was incredible, we loved cooking on our private grill, and the sunset/ocean views from both the pool and the terrace right off the lanai were breathtaking. The pictures do not do justice for this beautiful condo and property. Hosts were great communicators and made us feel welcome. We can't wait to stay next time we're on Maui and highly recommend to all!

Family room ceiling fan did not work; cooler for drinks to the beach would not zipper up; terrible smell in hall bathroom, coffee pot lid broke; generally the furniture was very old and not what I would expect. Please note that I have stayed at the palms about 15 times over the years…. All in great properties very dissapointed

Fantastic place

We had a family stay at this place and had a great experience. Communication from Bryan and Marie Christine was prompt and helpful. They responded to messages promptly but did not interfere at all with the stay. The condo is better than the photos suggest. Kitchen is well equipped with new appliances, living room is spacious for a family and bedroom is very comfortable. 2 bathrooms provide good flexibility of use. There’s carpet in the condo, so you just have to be careful with not walking on it with wet or sandy feet. The best part is semi covered lanai, we had almost every meal and some more family time outdoors in the lanai with garden views. the community swimming pool is nice, and a good option to hang out at if you’re not up to going to the beach at any point, or even to test/practice snorkeling… Overall a great stay, will definitely recommend!

A short walk to everything you need

I've been coming to Maui for close to 15 years and typically stay in Kihei. This trip I decided to mix it up and stayed for 10 days in this unit and was not disappointed. The layout and openness of the unit is great. Never even used the A/C. The proximity to the beach, and the short walk to the shops in and around Wailea was great! Brian was very responsive and checked in with me several times during my visit. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Mahalo!

Coffee maker pot broken, loose headboard kept us awake, sink needed Drano, dirty shower curtain, loose kitchen cabinet hinges, 6 inch centipede, bed only 20" off floor, toilet flapper leaking, only basic cable. Nice pool area.

Palms of Wailea 901

Comfortable condo. Large, lovely lanai. Please note, if you have mobility problems, this place has 3 steps from bedroom/bathroom area to kitchen/living area. And the platform bed is only about 6 inches off the floor so if you are not somewhat flexible you might have trouble standing up from the bed. We did not have any trouble with this, though. Recommended.

Why they chose this property

Wailea is one of the best if not the best resort community in Maui and perhaps in all of Hawaii. The Palms at Wailea is a gorgeous condo complex. It is very sparsely built, and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. The swimming pool and hot-tub in the Palms is one of the best. The Palms is a short walk away from some of the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. Nearby luxury hotels, spas, shopping, golf, and tennis is an added bonus.

What makes this property unique

This ground-floor unit is furthest away from the main road; it is very private and quiet. It is in one of the best buildings in the Palms. It is our largest unit. It is very spacious. We bought this unit as our home, and we lived in it for 8 years and loved every minute of it. Because it is a north facing unit it does not get hot; we hardly ever used the A/C. The lanai (outside living space) is huge and because it is always in the shade, it is usable all day. It is also very private and quiet. We loved this setting so much that later on we also bought the upstairs unit (#902). Now we rent both units. These two units are two of the most popular one-bedrooms in the Palms.
