Great location, close to pool and pool bar. The infinity pool was awesome, but getting a ride back down was frustrating. Overall, a great spot with a clean beach !!
This resort was way more than I could have imagined! I definitely wished I had more time to spend here! The property is so well kept, the landscaping is so lush and scenic it’s like you’ve walked into paradise! 10/10 definitely recommend!
Resort has a amazing views and very nice rooms. The property is ver hilly on one side so they have golf carts running to take you where you want to go. Both pools were very nice but we enjoyed the hillside infinity pool the best.
A great place. The only issue I have is all the pot smell everyday! We were on the hill in building 14. The people walking in the courtyard were turned back when they smelled it! I know you cant control of it. But a great place. this is the 6th time there. Will return again. Service in restaurant was kinda slow with limited staff.
Resort was really nicely manicured and laid out. Bars and restaurants were spread out and accessible. Pool bar was great and had an insane view. Room was pretty big, had a huge bed and full couch plus kitchenette and a margarita ville blender. It was all nicer than I expected and the only downside was the beach was full of seaweed. But, Coki beach was walkable and had food and drinks so all good. I would recommend!
Staff was lazy staff parking personal cars in areas for guest leaving us to park in other areas far away
Restaurant staff was bothered by our presence we left and went to other places for our dinners and lunch
The location was great, the grounds of the resort are well kept and look amazing, the room was great and also on a great location, CLEAN! The resort service was horrible, the ladies at the check in were nice, but had not received our reservation, I had to call VRBO, they tried to get me to call another number, but I refused to do so, I booked it trough VRBO and I expect them to assist me. The service at the restaurants is very slow, pool bar was the same slow service. I am happy we enjoy this location even with the island kind of service.
Had to wait an hour to get a room, kept getting told our room was not ready yet. (Other people kept coming in and getting their room right away.)
Frequently had to wait for a shuttle from the room, and sometimes they never showed up at all and had to walk.
Once we got a room, (after waiting for an hour) the room was very nice and comfortable. Staff were all very friendly.
would stay there again.

We loved our time in St Thomas. Margaritaville was a great resort and we would go back. The lobby and rooms were immaculate and the grounds are beautiful. The reason for 4 stars was the fact that the main pool was not available, and the beach by the resort was not available. They offer free shuttles to other beaches nearby. The dinning options are limited but the food and service was pretty good. The on grounds shuttle service was pretty disorganized and you could not count on a ride when you needed it.
Everything about this property was beautiful. The grounds and the room were all in good condition. The only complaint was the smell. This is out of the property hands. As they can’t control the weather or the amount of seaweed that washes up. At times the smell was unbearable and that’s when we utilized the Hilltop pool. Our room was also on the hill so we couldn’t really smell anything unless we came down for activities. Other than that a good time was had and we meet some really great people. Visitors and staff .
The resort was very clean and beautiful. Located on the beach and very well maintained.
Cons: the restaurant only sells junk food like burgers and other fried food.
There is no room service at all so they won’t get the daily room cleaning and they don’t have food after 10:00 pm. Not a big issue but for the price I would like to be able to order something later for the wife!
There is only one restaurant on the property.
The restaurant and bar is very expensive! Dinner for 2 is over $100.00.
Taxi service is also very expensive! I suggest you rent a car.
In the end, the resort is very nice, but it could be better with a few things. I do recommend the resort if you looking for an adult getaway. Not very kid friendly resort.

They never told us pool was closed only one open room was right next to pool that was closed had to get ride everytime to use pool we where never told in advance
Pretty good place to stay, esp. for the price point. Room was nice and as advertised. Upper pool is definitely a yes and better than lower pool. Only minor complaint had to do with check in. When we arrived a few hrs earlier that the 4pm check in the lady at front desk said she would let us know when our room was ready. We went and grabbed food and drinks, no problem. Front desk never called. I checked back in a couple hours later only to learn room had been ready for quite sometime. No pool service… have to go to bar to order. Not a big deal but if u want the extra pampering u won’t get that here.
The VRBO was fine. However the Margaritaville property not so much. The property had trash all over the property. Over grown foliage everywhere. No one is available on the property to assist after 10pm. Several laundry facilities have doors with batteries that are low which do not work. Needless to say our clothes where stuck and locked until we were able to get assistance. The car we rented was completed flooded on our 1st night due to the rain and the properties drains were full of debris. Mind you Margaritaville and their management take NO responsibility in this matter. I actually feel bad for the owner of this VRBO because its not necessarily their fault that Margaritaville is not up to par and is failing. Ill be very surprised is this resort makes it another 5 years in business.
Overall the resort is really nice! The resort had a lot of activities throughout the week like bingo, trivia, live music, happy hours, etc. Once you leave the resort though, it’s in a bad area where you can’t go walking at night and there’s a lot of people that live in poverty around the area so watch out! There’s only 1 restaurant and then 1 market area where you can get sandwiches, so unless you want to pay for a taxi to go else where those are your options! The waitresses and waiters at the restaurant aren’t the best either! The resort had golf carts that would shuttle you around though and it did have a free shuttle to two beaches as well! The beach in the back of the resort did smell like seaweed and was covered so that was inaccessible but it is September so that makes sense! Overall though it’s a good stay for the price! I wouldn’t be opposed to staying at a Margaritaville again just make sure you know of your surroundings and bring plenty of cash for taxis
