The cabin is wonderful!! We met the owner at 0900 and he showed us around the cabin and answered any questions. It was really nice to meet him and show us around. We’ve never had anyone do that before and we really
We enjoyed our cozy cabin stay- we had space to spread out but also comfy living room with movies and a fireplace. It is a lovely cabin and we had a great weekend!
With a growing family, we needed more beds for our adult children and this cabin is on the same lake as our family cabin. It had enough room for our group and was conveniently located. Reggie was responsive and accommodating and worked with our needs. The cabin has a lovely view and plenty of space to spread out. The upstairs AC and fans kept the cabin a comfortable temperature. A hawk visited the porch railing!
I am very happy with our stay. I would highly recommend this property. Very well stocked kitchen! Great lift for going up and down to the lake! This makes it easy for anyone to enjoy the beautiful lake. Beautiful deck to enjoy sunsets. The pontoon we rented for extra was great to really enjoy the lake and have some fun. The host was great to communicate with responded promptly. And even checked on us once.
If you want to relax, this is a great place to do it! The cabin is well equipped with everything you need to get away from it all. A good selection of books, games, and the view of the lake from the deck made this a great place for us to unplug, kick back and enjoy our time together! The host is easily contacted and responsive. Thanks Reggie!
Cozy and kitschy log cabin, beautiful views, comfy bed, nice hot tub, close to restaurants and shops of Stillwater and New Richmond. Reggie met us at the cabin to show us around which was really helpful, gave us a great dinner recommendation.
We had an amazing time at the cabin! Our host met us at the property and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed fishing on Bass Lake and relaxing on the deck. It was a very enjoyable weekend!
We had a wonderful stay at the lake retreat for a relaxing weekend. Very clean, great communication with host, and great amenities. Would highly recommend
Just finished a visit to this cabin - returning after a stay here last year. The host is very attentive - comes by for an initial tour and answers questions, then easily available by email - and the cabin is nicely stocked with a lot of extras. Very near to New Richmond - lots of nice restaurants - and also near lovely Willow River State Park. Bass Lake is very pretty and quiet. We recommend this place for a great “cabin-on-a-lake experience”!

Felt dirty and mildewy
The person who owns the cabin is very nice, but the cabin has a ton of their personal things inside. For example, old robes hanging on the bathroom doors, clothes in the drawers... it felt very dirty. I had to quick and clean before more guests arrived, sweep the stairs, and clean out all the spider webs from the paddle boat and canes. I opened all the windows to get the mildewy smell out especially in the basement.
We stayed here with 9 women for a bachelorette party of women in their mid 30s! We had noticed in some of the reviews of the listing some slightly negative things, but the boat and some of the interior decor had been updated since those reviews. We had a great stay, Reggie was awesome to work with!
Two friends and I rented this cabin for two nights. It's so fantastic! It had everything we hoped for--lakefront, gorgeous views (that porch in the trees!), a hot tub, and space for all of us to have a bed. We're already plotting a return visit!
We had a great stay at the cabin. We started a fire each night which warmed up the house which was great for the cold temps. Enjoyed the surrounding towns and shopping experience. Would def stay again.
This cabin was the perfect location for our family to get together from Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. We had such a great time. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us and the winter weather was perfect. Some people ice fished with some nice catches, some just played in the snow. We played games, and even spent a little time in the hot tub. We hope to came back in the summer.
We were so happy to have
This cabin was exactly what we needed. Beautiful area and plenty of space for everyone.
Robert was a phone call away with any questions or needs we had. My son Tanner would have been 26 yrs old on Dec 2…. We celebrated him, lit a couple Chinese lanterns over the beautiful lake, took walks with our dog. Neighbors were friendly and inviting ! Thankyou for sharing your home with us, we would definitely rent this place again!

Karen, Bill and Reggie love their Bass Lake getaway and decided to share the cabin and property. 'Our Families grew up with summer cabins, and we just fell in love with this cabin. The lake is so beautiful, clean, and deep. We also enjoy campfires and entertaining our family and friends. We know you will enjoy our cabin, as much as we do!'
