About this property

Gorgeous Parnell Villa, entire second level.

Our place is close to Parnell's delightful shops, art galleries, over fifty restaurants and bars. Is walking distance from CBD, University of Auckland, Vector Arena, Auckland Museum, Newmarket and Auckland Hospital.

You will have the entire second level of our villa which
sleeps up to 5 people.

There are no cooking facilities but it has a microwave, fridge, toaster and jug,and breakfast amenities. Tea, coffee, muesli, bread provided.

Shared use of tennis court and pool.

Suitable for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families. (with children).

The entire separate second level of our villa is available and sleeps up to 5 guests. It includes:

1 x 50 sq. m. open-plan lounge Master bedroom with gas fire, Kingsize bed and dining area.

1 x Queen bedroom with private deck, with view to the Auckland Museum

1 x Single bedroom / Office with desk. Business ready.

1 x Large bathroom with shower toilet and handbasin.plus 1 x small room with toilet and handbasin

Great place for 3-4 people. Easy access to shops in quiet neighborhood. Hosts were welcoming and gave us good overview of area and amenities. A warm inviting retreat at days end.

Great location and good size rooms
Parnell was a great location for us with plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The property was well maintained with great views over to the museum and we had great communication with the host so no problems getting settled in.

Our stay at the villa was fantastic! Communication with the owners was great, they even met us in person to show us around and answer any questions. The location made it easy to walk to the museum and other local sites. We appreciated the guidebook with lots of recommendations on places to eat. We would highly recommend staying here!

Had an enjoyable stay, plenty of heating, very clean, host very obliging. Would stay again. One very small tip is that it was quite dark, lighting could be a little better maybe. Otherwise very happy with our stay.

Parnell house stay
It's a really nice house, close to the Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell, which is what we wanted. Christine is really nice to deal with, and our communications were all excellent. We didn't use any other site facilities besides the part of the house we were renting, but that was well appointed and comfortable. The only negative is the lack of actual kitchen facilities, which is a bit of a hassle for organising food and doing dishes.

Christine is a delight to work with. She met us on the day, showed us around and made sure we were aware of where our parking was (garage with internal access to property) and all the other workings of the house. Just off Parnell road, we didn't need to take the car out again until we left. Food, bars and shopping is right around the corner. Train stop 10 min walk, and looking at the War Memorial from the balcony was a real treat. We were all surprised at how quiet it was especially being so close to a busy road. Will certainly be thinking of Christine and the property on our next trip up. Thank you for looking after us!

Absolutely fabulous!
Wonderful stay! This is a beautiful vacation rental in a fabulous location. The unit is gorgeous and immaculate. Perhaps the very best part is the host. Christine was so accommodating and helpful as we were stranded in Auckland during the flooding. She communicated well and provided great recommendations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommended!

We look forward to welcoming you to our family home. We have both been involved in International Education and hosting visitors to Auckland for many years. Although we are both retired, Christine is a keen Equestrian, Nick loves scuba diving and occasionally teaches in Asia.

Why they chose this property

We love the historic area, the old villa shops, stunning Holy Trinity cathedral, amazing restaurants , and beautiful domain park where the Auckland museum is located, all 5-10 mins walk from our home. There are high end shops in nearby Newmarket which is 20 mins walk away.
We are only 20 mins walk from Auckland University and Auckland Hospital.
We are 30 mins walk from Spark Concert Arena.
