Great Location and Home

Great location. Close to shopping, groceries and attractions. Kids loved the pool with the slide and the movie theatre. Easy communication with owner. Wonderful place to stay for a family vacation.

Excellent Home for Family Stay

The home was perfect for our family stay with young children. The pool slide and basketball hoop alone kept our kids busy but the game room/theater and other games were great to have too. Encountered some issues at check in, but owner and property manager were very responsive and even had a pack and play delivered same day when it wasn't there upon our arrival. Would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Full Disney Thanksgiving trip

My Family and I stayed at the property four our Disney Thanksgiving trip. The house is very close to the parks and there was something for all of us to do. The check in process was easy and the instructions were detailed. We had minor issues, when we arrived but they were immediately rectified. Overall our experience was a very pleasant one and I would stay here again!

Comfortable and convenient

We enjoyed our stay! We has a family trip of 11 people ranging from 5 years old to mid 60s. Everyone has a comfortable place room and bathroom. We were approximately 20-45 minute drive to the local theme parks and airport. The house was equipped with all we needed!

Perfect Location!

My family and I rented this home for our week vacation in Disney. The location was perfect and it took under 20 minutes to get to any of the Disney parks. This home contained lots of things to keep a bunch of kids occupied which was really nice. We did have an issue with a leak from one of the bathrooms as well as the Wi-Fi going out for a period of time however once I was able to get a hold of the host, these issues were quickly resolved. I will say I found communication via email with the host to be the most effective. I would recommend this house for a fun family vacation!

Indulging Gaming Villa in EIR

This is hands down the best Airbnb we’ve EVER stayed in. Photos yet still do not do the home justice. There is plenty of space (and closet space!) in this home and the pool and game room made us want to spend more time at “home” rather then do a lot of the activities we had already planned. The 2 different living rooms and tv and disney theme in every room made this a dream with the different age groups we had in our group. The location was great—15ish minutes from Disney and Universal (more with traffic—but that’s anywhere you stay.) Emerald Island Resort is a beautiful and well-kept area. Communication was quick and efficient with a couple of questions we had and hosts were very responsive—even the handymen were incredibly friendly and personable. Rent this home for your vacation. You won’t regret it and you won’t want to leave. We actually extended our stay to spend a little more time there. We will be back next time we’re in Florida!

They had insect infestation and didn’t refund me

I checked in on June 30th at 12am. Due to me traveling with my son (who’s two years old) all day and it being so late, I didn’t thoroughly check the property upon arrival ( only where we slept ) the morning after I went for breakfast what I came back I saw fresh insect feces in the sink. I proceeded to upstairs to inspect and all bathroom tubs and two sinks were filled with what looked like flying ants. I tried to rinse them out of the sink in one of the bathrooms, but it got clogged so it didn’t drain the water out. I contacted the manager and didn’t get an answer. When finally got in contact with someone they said they’ll send someone out. No one was sent out, but they lied and said someone did. When I requested a refund and checked out early they told me that the insects were there due to the water in the sink, but in the bathroom with no water in the sink they were there too. Also, after showing the video to a insect professional I was told that that’s not likely the cause, and those insect may in fact be TERMITES! I’m seeking legal action, as I have video and picture evidence that this property was clearly in violation of health and safety. Do not stay here!

Beautiful neighborhood & convenient!

This house is in a beautiful neighborhood and very close to restaurants, stores and Disney locations. We enjoyed our morning walks through the nature trail and the whole family enjoyed the pool. The house had plenty of room for our family. We had a few requests and reached out to our hosts who were very responsive.

Family Reunion

I booked this place upon Online Pictures and Reviews, The house is big enough where Kids and Adults don't be on top of each other. The pool outside looks bigger online but still was big enough for 5 kids to had a blast as well with Adults playing with the kids in the pool. The slide was a hit with my 3year old Grandson. Grill outside was a nice add on, but previous Guests left trash in Bins and used Band-Aids all over the Pool Lounge Area. The Outside Fans could be a bit stronger cause you really did not felt a breeze. Dishwasher was not working properly and someone came to check it out, we found out water to it was turned off cause it had a leak. Pretty cool and big bedrooms with their own bathrooms. The kids absolutely loved the Minion Bedroom. We had a problem with the Game Room The Movie Projector was not working correctly and we called Property Manager right away, we had to call 4 more times and about 4hrs later finally someone came after I contacted host as well. We were told it is broken and it will be taken care off. We arrived Monday and that was a big deal for the kids cause they wanted to play and hook up game consoles on the big screen. Tuesday and Wednesday we went To Universal, be aware off with the traffic it is about 45-60 minute drive in the morning. Great shopping and Restaurants opportunity close by. Finally on our last day the Projector was fixed in the afternoon and we got some use out of it. The host was generous enough to give some refund for that broken projector since we booked it because of all the amenities for the kids. The home upstairs had a very hard time to get cool or cooler, it was very warm inside when we arrived, and the Property Manager gave the advise to turn the AC lower down then it was advised on wall stickers to cool the place. Most Game Items showed usage from all the renters, and a New Pool Table along with the other Other Stuff should be replaced in the near future. The lounge Chairs outside need a good scrubbing cause it had black mold on them. The communication with the host was by far better then with the property manager. I would or will stay again in that place. Overall we had lots of fun and I recommend that Place.

Great Vacation Home!

We loved our stay at this house. It is closer to Disney than Universal, but both were easy to get to. What we really liked was having a large space to spread out and the kids will still very entertained while we were at the house. That made it easy on the adults who were ready to relax after long days in the parks! There were plenty of TVs, activities, open spaces, seating, towels... it was a great house and easy to access. A few things to consider if you stay here: We went the last week of April and were worried that the pool would be cold. We paid to have the heat turned on and eventually had them come turn it off. It was like a hot tub! If the highs are in the 80s, you probably don't need this turned on. The guy that came to turn it off was super fast and responsive. The house location was close enough to go to local places and pick up things to cook. They note they will donate any unopened food, which is nice. If you haven't been, the parks do let you carry in food and drinks, so having those at the house was really helpful and cost-saving. Overall, a great house with plenty of space and we'd recommend it / stay again!

Amazing Fun House!

The home is just as advertised- our big family of 15 had an amazing time . I was worried with the small amount of reviews for this particular home - The kids loved there own bunker room . All adults had very very comfortable beds . We did 4 days at Disney and a rest day plus Disney springs and universal studios . The home is great proximity to these locations. Any issues ( which were minimal ) were addressed. Home was clean , and the resort was great - The pictures due not show that there is a baby gate at top of stairs and there is a safety fence around the pool , which was A Very pleasant surprise and much needed with our 7 kids we had with us. The movie theater room in the garage was very cool 😎.

Great Stay for Large Family Vacation

Wonderful house close to many of Orlando’s must see areas. House was clean and the owner was super responsive to any questions or concerns. Small issue with the pool heater, but the owner did everything they could to get it fixed and up and running. Definitely would love to visit again!

Lack of communication & no heated pool

At first I had decent communication with some issues upon arrival (the broken child gate on the stair they fixed to a point I was not comfortable leaving my kiddos upstairs without hawk eye-ing it), but did not address the missing laundry detergent stated they'd provide the first day which was a bummer getting in from a flight OR the biggest issue: NO POOL HEATER! I asked several times, first time was stated it works (did not) but then just stopped communicating with me entirely. It was one of the biggest reasons we chose this place, to spend the extra for the private pool with the slide, but we could not use it at all given it was freezing. :( House was overall nice, but these issues mean we will not rent here again.

Family Friendly

This house was amazing. My family and I had so much fun. We have 4 small children and can’t be out and about all the time during covid times and with this house we did not have to leave at all. Has private pool and arcade in the house. The kids played on the slide everyday. Owners responded super quick to any questions as well. Thank You!!
