Located 2 blocks from Main Street is a condo just for you. 1 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo that sleeps 4 (separate bedroom upstairs with a King size bed and a pull out couch downstairs in the living room that has a queen size memory foam mattress) offers more luxury than the local hotels/motels and at the same comparable prices. This condo also features a 40" flat screen television. The television also has a DVD player for those movie nights. A pull out couch sleeps two to accommodate more in your party. This condo also features Wi-Fi and internet services. This condo also features a built in washer and dryer for your washing needs. Prepare a nice meal in the kitchen using all the kitchen items located at arms reach.
Located with-in steps of this fabulous condo are great eating establishments that serve your favorite dishes, beef, seafood, chicken dinners, and sushi, are readily available day or night. Also some vegetarian areas are close by. Located just 270 steps from the front condo door is the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. Only two narrow gauge railroads exist in Colorado! Enjoy the scenery as you travel to beautiful Silverton Colorado tucked in its quaint little corner of the world. Ski beautiful Purgatory Ski Resort. A ski shuttle will do most of the work and you can relax more knowing that you don't have to drive to ski. Enjoy your time on the mountain as it offers nice restaurants to eat by, or if you don't ski, ride up and enjoy the scenery. Not to over look, Gold Metal Waters, fly fish to your hearts content on the beautiful Animas River. Durango also services the best hunting areas in the State. Gardenswartz Sporting Goods can cater to your needs!
If you want to venture off and sight see, there are many opportunities to catch up with and take part in some nice recreational activities. Travel West and visit the famous Mesa Verde ruins, Travel East of Durango and soak in the warm Hot Spring Waters in Pagosa Springs, From Pagosa, is Wolf Creek ski area just 40 minutes away from Durango. A great ski area, much cheaper than Purgatory and the lines are shorter. Both resorts have a "teddy bear camp" for young children to learn skiing or snowboarding.

Perfect stay

We loved this stay. The location was perfect. We could walk every where and it was close to the railroad, great restaurants and shopping and the river walk. The apartment was well stocked, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great location downtown in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment was very comfortable with lots of space. The pictures don’t do it justice. Good mattress, appliances and internet. Lots of stairs that might limit consideration by some. Overall a very good choice

Felt like a home away from home

Before we even arrived correspondence with the property owners was exceptional. Upon arriving at our rental unit, it was clean and was fully equipped with what we needed to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The property owners were cordial and prompt with any questions we had during our stay. We would defiantly add this property to our list when visiting the Durango Colorado area.

What a fabulous location!

We could walk back and forth so easily… forgot your phone? No worries, you can be back to the condo in less than 10 minutes. Many fun restaurants within minutes. No driving necessary. Loved it!

Great Location Close to Downtown

If you are looking for a great location close to all the amenities of town, this is the spot. This location allows you to walk to all the downtown attractions and enjoy all the food and beverages there is to offer. The property was clean and the hosts were easy to communicate with and very pleasant. Not only do you have the amenities of downtown but you are centrally located to all the surrounding area attractions.

Perfect location!! The goal was to experience the train ride to Silverton. Everything was walking distance. Train, food and shopping. It was a little warm upstairs, even with the A/C, but overall, you can't be the location.

Perfect Location

The property is located within walking distance of many restaurants and the Durango & Silverton Railroad. The interior is nice and airy with high ceilings and great amenities. Shaded parking stall is provided off-street. Our stay was amazing!

Perfect for Durango Visit

This property worked perfectly for our short visit to Durango. Only two blocks and an easy walk to the train and historic downtown area. The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed.

Family getaway in Durango

The property was great nice and quiet location. Condo was within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the train depot. Covered Parking area was perfect for our two motorcycles in case of inclement summer weather. Living area is nicely set up with pull out couch and recliners. Full size kitchen was a plus. Master bed room and bathroom were awesome. Lots of little amenities of a condo.

Why they chose this property

I grew up in Bayfield, CO and learned the trade of operating heavy equipment. It paid me well and I purchased this condo. The condo is in the perfect location; park your car in the space #202 within the parking garage, and walk or take the Red Trolly to where you want to go. Spend your gas savings on dinner out or ski for the weekend!

What makes this property unique

The condo is perfect for a parent visiting their child in college at Fort Lewis College to stay without intruding on their space. It is ideal for a skiing couple(s) and hunters wanting to sleep in a comfortable king size bed, and be able to cook their meal inside the condo. It is ideal to park your car and be able to walk downtown. I am two blocks to Cuckoos Chicken House and two blocks from the Ore House Steak House! The movie theater is four blocks, all within walking distance, and the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Train Station about a three block walk.
