Enjoy a stay on the beautiful and relaxing Sharbot Lake. The loons are calling you. It's peaceful, serene, and it's fishing is unsurpassed. There is canoe and 2 kayaks that you are welcome to use. Currently, there is a 20' dock, that we are hoping to add on to soon. You can bring your own boat. There are boat launches a short distance to town. We are located in a shallow cove, so we recommend that you use the town beach for swimming, until we can get a swim dock. There is horseshoe pit and firepit. It's a short distance to the village, that has a remarkable grocery store, 2 new restaurant's, bakery, marina, hardware store, beach, for all your convenances. Farmers market on Saturday's mornings in July and August. Multi use trails. Come and enjoy the many different wildlife that we enjoy seeing.

We had a lovely peaceful time at this clean, well equipped cottage. It was quiet , had a lovely view. The cottage was very clean, and well looked after. Carol responded quickly when I had a question. We would stay here again.
We had the best time staying in this perfect Sharbot Lake cottage. The cottage had everything we needed, including kitchenware, towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, storage bags, and even seasonings to cook with. Everything was spotless and the property was well-manicured. The screened-in porch was spacious and comfortable with a beautiful lake view. The porch was one of our favorite places to spend time together in the mornings and evenings. I highly recommend renting this cottage!
My husband, my son and myself had a relaxing, peaceful stay here. The cabin/cottage was clean and had all the essentials we needed for our week stay. The screened in front deck off the kitchen, overlooking the lake, was where we spent our down time. Would definitely stay here again.
I use to rent a cottage on silver lake for 16 years and I know sharbot lake very well. So my son and I decided to rent this cottage on sharbot lake. The cottage was very equipped with all the essentials. I was very impressed. My son and I had a very quiet and relaxing time. The screened in porch was awesome. We spent hours out on the porch. Thanks Carol you are awesome.
We plan to book again next year. The hosts thought of everything. The place is welll equipped with all necessities and then some. all you need to bring are the people , food , tackle , and clothes. This was our first time renting as a couple, and it was perfect for us. We loved the screened in portch. The camp fire . The trees . The grass driveway. The dock . Boats . Laundry … we felt alt home ..For anyone looking for a restful get away , we highly recommend this property .
This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! Carol was very responsive in expediting the repair.
This property is right on the lake. It was surprising very well stocked. It had EVERYTHING you can think. Literally evrything. We were very comfortable here. My children loved the badminton set and played the whole time we were there. It is thankfully close the grocery store. I especially loved the screened in porch and watched the sunset every night. We fished right of the dock and caught a fish but we had to let it go as my son felt bad for taking a fish from its family. The only downside which has nothing to do with the property or the owners were the water snakes. We found at least one everyday. Over all, we l9ved our stay.
The cottage is just that...a cottage. Having said that, it was full of delightful amenities such as wifi, large Samsung tv and dvd player for movie nights, a screened in porch with comfortable chairs facing the lake and very comfortable beds. I spent most of my time on the porch enjoying the breeze and staring at the lake. It was a good thing the porch was screened in because the deerflies were buzzing around my head ( on a short walk I took one day). There were kayaks and a canoe available but we are not big boat people. The Weber barbecue worked like a dream and there was even Alexa in the corner of the living room! All in all it was a time well spent.

The cottage is very well stocked, it has everything. It is a very comfortable place to be. The screened-in porch was really lovely.
The lake was marshy near the dock, but once through that, the water is lovely.
There was a mix-up for entry to the property, however it was resolved.
Lovely comfortable cottage.
Beautiful property with the possibily of docking your boat on the on site dock. The new bathroom and refurbished kitchen will allow you to get away from it all and still have access to everything that is essential. This is not a 4 star resort it is a camp. It was however very clean and the living areas are well kept. We really enjoyed our stay here and will certainly look to book again in the futur.

Questionable place to stay
The awful smell everywhere, worse when you open any cupboard. Towels and linens needed airing out. Had to buy 5 order deodirizers and the windows were gross. The furniture was the worse smelling old things. Bathroom was at least clean. Dishes we slimmy and some wet in the cupboars. Horshoes were rusted and fire pit was full of ashes. The bbq were gross and dangerous looking. There were 4 empty propane tanks lying around. Had to buy a night lamp. Uper deck floor smelly and spongy. Not a place I'd recommend.
No wifi and patchy reception, but for peace and quiet with a gorgeous view, this is the perfect place. There wasn't any A/C, however there were fans that could be switched on. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and the whole cottage was clean and comfortable.
My family enjoyed the tranquility of the cottage and the beautiful view of the lakefront deck. Carol was very responsive and helpful to our questions. Bring a soccer ball/ badminton set etc. if you have kids because the backyard is huge. We spent hours on the screened deck reading, playing cards, and watching the sunset. There's a cute little beach near by with a diving dock for the kids to swim in. The cottage had everything we needed and if you forget anything, Dean's grocery store is 5min drive away.
A super cute cottage, with a great view! Carol was great and responded right away to any questions we had! The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed! We loved the screened in sun porch and spent hours watching the water and enjoying the view! The public beach was only 3 mins away and the town has a great little cafe with a huge general store. Thanks Carol, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
