Cherry log weekend

We were both just looking for some rest and relaxation. This was the perfect weekend. Cabin was very comfortable and we especially enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and the hot tub. We’ll be back!

The cabin is very cozy, clean and very well kept. It has everything needed in the kitchen to cook a full meal. The view is beautiful. We were snowed in but we were there to relax so no issues for us we played games and rested. Lisa (our host) was extremely helpful and helped us navigate through everything needed since we were completely snowed in. She called us prior to our arrival to ensure we had enough food and then was available at every call to help us with clearing out the snow and to ensure we were safe and exited our trip safely. I wasn't able to do much outside the cabin but restaurants and food stores were just about a 10 min drive. I plan on going back once the winter is over. Thank you Lisa!

Beautiful Cabin, Wonderful Host!

We visited for the weekend for our 5-year wedding anniversary, desperately needing a peaceful reprieve from our day to day. This cabin is perfectly secluded and was just so serene. You’re positioned right between Ellijay and Blue Ridge so there are plenty of dining and shopping options, if you even feel the need to leave. The beds were so comfy and the hot tub was amazing! My only regret is that we went before the leaves turned colors too much or fell off the trees to see the full view in the back. Lisa, the owner, is so thorough and gracious - she was a dream. We wanted for nothing and had such a nice weekend!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cabin

The views, the hot tub, fire pit, all the the kitchen supplies, everything was so enjoyable. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we could need. Lisa was such a helpful host. The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee and a birthday dinner. Everything was perfect.would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Long Weekend Getaway

My wife and I wanted time away together and the mountains of Ellijay/Blue Ridge were at the top of our list. We arrived on a Thursday and stayed through Sunday. The cabin was beautifully situated on the side of the mountain with the deck and hot tub facing the west. This 2 bedroom cabin was beautifully appointed, exceptionally clean, and everything we were looking for in a getaway. We definitely plan to return.

Our 3 night stay at Suset Dream over the Fourth of July weekend was wonderful. Lisa our host was the epitome of accommodating and made us feel welcome. She even had special decorations up for the fourth holiday. Very nice touch. The cabin is in excellent condition with new everything it seems. All we needed was food. Lisa had everything we might need on hand including full organic toiletries and fabulous towels and sheets. The beds are very comfortable and have plenty of pillows. The back rocking chair porch is a special treat as it faces west for spectacular sunsets, but our favorite view was from the warmth of the big comfy spa which is positioned for privacy and the sunset view. A really nice feature. The gas grill performs flawlessly and we had mountain Valley farms grass fed steaks one night. We visited historic downtown Ellijay and had supper at El Rey Tex mex on Lisa’s recommendation and it was spectacular. We loved the neighborhood too, and plan to be back soon. Thanks to Lisa we really experienced the sunset dream in the best possible way.

Modern log cabin. Owner has spent quality time for attention to detail. Cabin was immaculate. Great furniture and beds. End of road privacy. Back deck has view of mountains. Cabin is up on mountain. Back deck has 4 rocking chairs and hot tub. Owner - Lisa, was fantastic with any and all help.

Great Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was very comfortable and clean, and has everything you'll need for your stay. Lisa was very helpful with check-in and check-out. For the drive in and out of the neighborhood to the cabin, you will need a truck and/or a four wheel drive vehicle. The roads are steep going to the cabin, and the drive for the cabin is very steep as well. Driving in and out of the neighborhood at night is tricky but just take your time and do not be in a hurry.

Peace and Quiet

Lisa was a great host. She has really thought about everything for the cabin. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make any meal, and the cabin feels like a home away from home with all of the little cozy touches. We really enjoyed our peace and quiet away from our 3 boys under 3. We will definitely be keeping this cabin on our mind for another quick little getaway.

Such a charming and comfortable cabin! We loved staying there. The only concern was the roads in Hidden Lake: narrow and very twisted. But we made it! It’s a lovely area and we highly recommend Sunset Dream.

Cabin was well appointed. Beds & bedding were very nice. Entire unit super clean. Loved the hot tub. Only downside for us was the lot as there is no space for the kids to run around. Host was awesome—great communication!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views!

This was our first time to Blue Ridge and it did not disappoint. The cabin was wonderful. It was super clean and had everything we needed. The views from the hot tub and porch were absolutely breathtaking and one of our favorite parts of the weekend. The owner, Lisa, was fantastic. She called the day of arrival and departure to go over very helpful information and to see if we had any questions. It was a great weekend and experience! We will definitely be back to the Sunset’s Dream cabin in the future!

Spring Break

Fun times showing our friends tje N. Georgia mountains for the first time. Loved the amazing views and overall coziness of the cabin. Location was perfect, halfway between Ellijay and Blue Ridge was amazing. Lisa was the perfect host for this perfect little slice of heaven.

Great cabin, great views, great host

This cabin is in the coolest mountain top community. Neighbors close enough to be nice and safe feeling for a young family, but secluded enough to feel like you’re up in the wilderness. Cabin is clean, with the best mattresses I’ve ever slept on, and has all the amenities you’d want/need. Additionally, it’s smack between Ellijay and Blue Ridge so there’s lots to get out and see/do. We found Blue Ridge to have more going on. If you have a 4wd vehicle, this cabin sits right along the Georgia Traverse … a nearly 400 mile trail from South Carolina to Alabama. We enjoyed spending our days out cruising through the national forest, and we hiked a few local trails, catching some waterfalls along the way. Would love to come back, as the host does a great job all around.

Beautiful Cabin!!!

Beautiful cabin in Cherry Log, Georgia, just a few miles from the heart of Blue Ridge, GA. The owner was very accommodating and addressed all my questions and needs! We went for a family Christmas gathering and we were not disappointed as the owner decorated the house for the holidays beautifully complete with Christmas tree! We just threw the presents under the tree and we were good to go! Additionally...the cabin was immaculate and well stocked! We had a cozy cabin Christmas and it is very convenient to Blue Ridge Shops and restaurants! One note though...I would definitely recommend 4 Wheel Drive for a winter stay...the road was paved but could be challenging in bad winter weather! Happy travels!

The view was amazing.

The cabin was amazing. It was beautifully decorated and well equipped with everything you would need. We loved the view and especially the hot tub. Our host was incredible. So helpful and she went the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.
