SKIPPER'S HOUSE TOP Originally the plantation manager’s house, the ‘Skipper’s

The transformation of the old plantation buildings resulted in 4 restored buildings and 2 beautiful pools. The Skipper's House, the South House and the Boiling House are situated in the "plantation yard" while the Orchard Apartment is located in the lower level of the original Plantation house. Our apartments each have their own unique charm, but they do not differ in the quality of finishings and furnishings. Each apartment is completely equipped with most household comforts that you may require while away from home ~ "a world away from the old plantation days". Originally the plantation manager’s house, the ‘Skipper’s House’ which is located in The Yard @ Sion Hill, was restored to its exact dimensions. The Top Floor, apartment housed the plantation managers and their families for generations, while the Ground Floor was used for livestock feed storage as far back as anyone knows. The apartment still showcases some of its original architectural elements such as the original exposed ceiling beams.
