Great getaway!

Our stay was very enjoyable. Hot tub overlooking the river was a huge bonus. Clean, great staff communication, well stocked kitchen. Would stay here again!

Lovely, funky cabin in the woods

We had an enjoyable stay in this little cabin. It had everything we needed, but I would say it's due for some maintenance. The hot tub was old, stained (although it was clean) and could use replacing. The deck could use a little spray/clean, our feet would get muddy just walking a few steps from the hot tub to the door. We brought our kitty with us and she spent 2 days chasing a poor tiny mouse around the house. We didn't mind sharing the space with this tiny cute creature - but maybe others do mind. Overall it was quiet, a stunning view and we cooked some delicious meals in the kitchen and grill.

Riverfront retreat

Very cozy, fun cabin with wonderful wood burning fireplace. Loved the hot tub by the river and unique touches such as the sleigh coffee table and collection of deer heads (and others!)Would definitely stay again!

Soggy and dark but interesting and cozy.

Admittedly it was pouring rain for most of our stay. We unloaded with no cover over head and the roof’s drain emptied right onto the walkway, creating deep water to wade through. The power went out and we could not find emergency gear other than our own. However, the amenities were

Hot Tubbin' on the river

Absolutely beautiful gem of a property. Tucked back by the river you have lots of privacy. You are relatively close to neighbors so be mindful! Also gotta check out the espresso challet on your way in or out mandatory!

Cozy getaway

This was a perfect cozy getaway for me and my partner. We loved being able to enjoy the local hikes and end the day in the relaxing hot tub. Perfect way to unplug!

Charming and Cozy Cabin

This cabin has such a cozy and inviting vibe. The couch and chair are amazingly comfy. We had a wood fire going each night. Even when it rained, the sound of it drumming on the roof was calming and relaxing. The shower was not the ”short” shower advertised, but a gorgeous full size tiled shower —what a lovely surprise!Kitchen is decently appointed with lots of spices. The stove is old, but cool. As in all rentals, the kitchen knives are in poor shape, but these are at least quality knives and there was a basic sharpener. The stove runs on the cool side. The main overhead kitchen table light is fine for getting things done, but turn it off when you want to relax as it is super bright with no option to dim. One word of warning, the bathroom is between the two bedrooms and with the thin walls you can hear everything going on in the bathroom from either bedroom. Fine for us well-aged couples, but may or may not be the right fit for young lovers. ;)WiFi password is not the long one on the fridge, but is on the side of the router. Would 100% stay again. Recommendations to bring: - extra firewood. You will easily burn through the amount provided in a couple of hours. The grocery store in Gold Bar has some just inside the vestibule. We were surprised to not see any roadside stands selling firewood on the way up, but could be a seasonal thing. - cuddle/throw blankets in the winter. There aren’t any, but that’s ok cause who wants to use someone else’s blankets anyway.

Wonderful riverside retreat

We had a lovely long weekend here, sitting on the riverbank, lounging on the couch and watching TV, soaking in the hot tub, and cooking. Pretty buggy during our stay so definitely pack your bugspray or light a citronella candle on the deck.

Quick getaway

Four adults for an annual cabin getaway. The cabin is exactly how it looks in photos. Well stocked kitchen and propane for the outdoor grill. Coming home to the hot tub was fantastic after a morning of hiking. Overall a lovely weekend.

Absolutely beautiful! We met the owner who lives across the road and he brought us a wheel barrel of fire wood. Such a nice guy. We also bought some fresh duck and chicken eggs from him. Can’t wait to come back!

Little slice of heaven

Awesome little cabin (feels really big despite being a small footprint) in a BEAUTIFUL location. Backyard was incredbile. Soaking in the hottub overlooking the river with a campfire going is VERY hard to beat. Wifi isnt the best (GOOD THING) but theres an awesome movie collection for family entertainment. Cabin has just about everything you would need. Will absolutely be back.

Cabin in the woods

An amazing getaway in the woods on the river! It is so peaceful, the hot tub is incredible & I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing here for the few days I booked. It's so nice to find places like this that are dog friendly since they are my primary traveling companions! Thanks again for a wonderful time, see you down the road!

Wonderful weekend!

The cabin was absolutely perfect! Relaxing in the hot tub, going on long walks, the incredibly convenient short hike up to Heybrook Lookout- everything was beautiful. We can't wait to go back! The details like the camp chairs and the table being high enough to see the river were so thoughtful.
