Seclusion, nature and relaxation all in one special place, a wellness journey designed to bring about balance of body, mind and soul. Your accommodation is a modern, private two-bedroom cabin set in the heart of a 200-acre organic estate. Here the air is fresh, clean and invigorating, and the property’s hilly nature means you can enjoy spectacular, awe-inspiring 360-degree views over a native bush clad valley through to the Firth of Thames and the Coromandel Ranges .
A farm fresh breakfast basket is included, fresh fruit and veggies are also provided so you can make delicious healthy smoothies at your leisure.
Your privacy and seclusion are assured. During your stay you only share the property with the private, quiet owners whose residence is more than 800 metres away from your cabin.
Relax in the egg-shaped bath as your gaze drifts over leafy tree views. Slip on a luxury dressing gown. Stoke the woodfire and curl up with a book and a glass of wine whilst enjoying the peace of nature. With a self-catered kitchen, or chef prepared meals, you will want for nothing.
You may wish to choose from the three course "We Create, You Cook" menu prepared by a local Chef who delivers to the cabin with simple instructions for you to finish off the cooking. Restaurant quality cuisine in 5 minutes.
Earth Energies offers a powerful combination of deep relaxation therapies to help with stress release, anxiety, wellness and better sleep. Our treatment rooms sit on the property’s summit, 800 metres from your accommodation. These purpose-designed rooms are a beautiful space in which to discover the powers of self-healing. Here, you’ll enter a tranquil Sanctuary where the body and mind are rebalanced.
All our therapies have the common theme of bringing you to an alpha or even deeper theta brainwave state, thus restoring balance essential for optimum relaxation, creativity, insight and mindfulness. Therapies include floatation therapy, full spectrum infrared sauna, clinical hypnotherapy, zero balance, secretes of the skull, aromatouch massage and essential oil remedies. Choose from individually tailored, full or half-day therapies based on your needs. With just one set of clients welcomed at a time, guests have exclusive use of the state-of-the-art treatment rooms during their appointment.

For us, Earth Energies has been about our own wellness journey – where we said goodbye to our busy globetrotting careers in the mining industry after 20 years, swapping our steelcaps for gumboots.
The concept of the Sanctuary has evolved over the past 10 years as we developed our land and found our own place of retreat. As a result, we’ve realised a wonderful combination of nature, environment and an aligned group of therapies.
Everything we do here is based around the right energy, working with nature, growing native Kawakawa for our ointments, caring for our Red Devon herd, nurturing the beehives, looking after our guests - we try to keep everything in a natural balance.
Our farm was a 200-acre blank canvas we started with building 2km of roading and power, establishing a dam and troughing system, kilometres of fencing and planting of thousands of natives. Then came the building of the implement sheds and the chook sheds, followed by the cabin and then the Botanicals product rooms where we craft our kawakawa remedies. It was a further 6 years until we were able to realise our dream of building the main residence and the therapy rooms.
The past two and half years have seen us complete the main residence and purpose built therapy rooms and we are delighted to now be able to share our tranquil place with guests opening in May this year.
We know all too well the impact of stress and anxiety on the body and mind. Over the last 8 years I have retrained in mind and physical therapies so that I can help others restore their balance for optimum health. Our treatment rooms are quite an exquisite healing space for guests to deeply relax and rebalance.
All our therapies have the common theme of bringing our guests to an alpha or even deeper theta brainwave state, thus restoring balance essential for optimum relaxation, creativity, insight and mindfulness.
