Pet friendly home with fenced yard and fantastic views from the deck and inside.

This home is half of a duplex. The other half is listing #7556935. No part of either duplex is shared. The decks are private, the entrances are private, the outdoor and indoor space is also private. A duplex means that it is one house with two separate rentals in the same building. None of the spaces are shared and it is not likely to see the other renters.

This location provides some of the best views you will find anywhere. This home displays the scenery from all angles and provides a quiet place to relax and enjoy them. Upstairs bedroom has a King bed and is very comfortable, downstairs bedroom has a Queen. Range is natural gas and heat is all 3 options: electric, natural gas, and wood stove. The home is a duplex situated adjacent to Highway 135 as you enter Crested Butte on the east side of the road. There is a berm with vegetation between the house and road. Read other reviews for more information on road noise - the home is surprisingly quiet. The home has new windows which seal off any outside noise. Since the house is a duplex, I ask all renters to be respectful of other renters. From this location you will have 360 degree views and the comfort of a large deck and comfortable living room to observe the amazing scenery. Watch the weather roll in and out of Crested Butte from the perfectly situated deck or inside through the expansive windows. Elk, bears, eagles, foxes, and mule deer often visit the property. The wildlife is abundant and views are dynamic.

Ring doorbell is by the front door. This is very helpful to know when cleaning is complete for early check in requests, monitor plowing, check for snow shoveling needs, observe visiting wildlife, make sure trash is out on Thursdays, let cleaners know if guests leave early, ect.

This is a dog friendly home less than 1 mile from Crested Butte. The deck opens up to a fenced yard. I ask that renters please pick up any dog waste they find and place in the trash. In the winter when the snow levels become too deep, the snow level may reach the height of the fence. Dogs can walk over the fence when it becomes too deep. It is impractical to shovel the whole yard. Please walk dogs on a leash if this is too deep and be careful to prevent dogs from escaping.

Home is 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, 1750 Square feet. Fantastic summer getaway spot. Recreation trail passes through the property to town and surrounding trails. Private location on 1.3 acre lot. Ideal for a small family or two couples. There is also a 50 amp RV hook up on site with plenty of parking. Large outdoor fire pit and firewood provided. This home offers the very best unobstructed views and arguably better than any views in Crested Butte since you will have perfect views of Whetstone to the southwest. Locals agree this is the very best views from a new deck anywhere- 800 square foot deck with chestnut composite decking, cedar framed, BBQ grill, Bistro set, and outdoor furniture with Sunbrella fabric. 13 piece outdoor dining room set and 3 piece outdoor bar chairs and raised table. Deck features low voltage LED lighting throughout.

This is a PET FRIENDLY vacation rental. This means that even if you do not own a dog, a renter before you may have had a dog in the house. I do not recommend this rental for people who are allergic to animals. Cleaners spend hours working on cleaning the house between renters, but the house could still have dog hair or dander in hard to reach places even after being cleaned. The majority of houses in Crested Butte are not pet friendly and those would be a better match for people who do not want to be in a pet friendly home.

Living room views are unobstructed big views or Mt. CB, Gothic, White Mountain, Slate River Valley, Snodgrass, Paradise Divide.... the list goes on an on. You won't find a better spot for views, sunsets, or nighttime fires under the stars. New appliances, Aspen featured wall and bar, all weather dog door to fenced year. Yard maintenance and everything else included. There will plenty of firewood, spare propane tank, YoutubeTV, natural gas, electric, trash picked up weekly (on Thursdays), storage shed, and wood stove.
