Quick Labor Day Getaway with Family & Friends

The house was spacious and beautiful, comfortably accommodating a large group of kids and adults. Its prime location offered a stunning beach view, and we didn’t leave the house or beach all weekend, as everyone had a fantastic time. The large kitchen easily served our group of 20, making meals effortless. The rooms were very comfortable, with private bathrooms for each family, and there were plenty of lounge spaces for us to enjoy each other’s company while also having areas for privacy when needed.

Beautiful home

My family and I really enjoyed our time together at this property. The decor was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The beach was clean and not a bad distance to walk to from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Family vacay

Concerned after Hurricane Beryl but everything was fine. Flooring and sheet rock repaired… couldn’t tell anything had been damaged. Internet was out for a day but that was out of Melissa’s control. This was our 3rd year to stay and always have a wonderful time. Thanks Melissa

Family Celebration

State of Grace is a beautiful and comfortable house and we loved it! We had 7 adults and 4 children and never felt crowded. The beds were great as was all of the beautiful furniture. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, glasses and several serving pieces as well as pots and pans. We fogged around the house when we arrived due to the mosquitos (they were bad) and that helped a lot. You need to bring your own beach toys and chairs as they are not provided by the owner. The swimming pools were great and the crossover was nearby. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Breathtaking Beach House !!!

Our family absolutely loved this beachhouse--best ever, fit us all so well, so many spaces to escape to, well stocked, spacious, peacefully decorated with ocean colors. Just a gem of a house. Thank you for opening up your home, we treated Sea of Grace with grace!

Our second time staying at Sea of Grace

This is our 2nd time staying here a week each year. Both stays have been incredibly relaxing as the house is in perfect condition and is great for a large family. We’ve been super happy with the design and quality of the home along with the ample parking. I’d highly recommend Sea of Grace and my family will return next year!!

Beautiful house and great community

The house is amazing and lives up to the pictures. Although the location is very far south, the beach club, restaurant, pool, etc. were wonderful amenities to the home. Great for families.

The Best Ever!!!

This was our sixth family reunion. We had 30 people in 4 houses on the beach. Sea of Grace was simply unbelievable!! Perfect in every way - pure luxury and beautiful. All the extras included. Pointe West added the pools basketball and pickle ball so it was great. Will be better when the bar and restaurant open again. All in all the house was simply grand for our best reunion yet!,,

Wonderful family weekend

The Sea of Grace is by far the nicest home we’ve stayed in, in Galveston. It’s beautiful inside and out, super comfortable, and had plenty of room for our large family to spread out. The beach is a short walk away, and was nice, and not overly crowded. If only the weather would’ve cooperated, but it allowed us to fully enjoy this wonderful home. We would definitely choose this home again for our annual family getaway.

Thankful for our time here...

What a wonderful place! Our family of 17 (four generations) loved it! Sea of Grace is beautiful, clean, comfortable, and has gorgeous views. While walking back from the beach on our last night, knowing that our visit was coming to an end, our granddaughter asked, "When are we coming back?" Not if, but when. Loved it that she assumed we would. That pretty much says it all.

Wonderful home!

Each year we host a family get together at a home in Pointe West with our adult children, their spouses, and our grand children. This was our first time to stay in this home and we loved it. It was large enough to accommodate all of us comfortably and the sleeping arrangements were perfect. The teens had a loft room to themselves while the two families with small children were in the two rooms that had both bunks and a large bed for the parents. Everyone commented how the sleeping arrangements were ideal for all ages and families. The small room at the very top of the house was the nicest surprise of all. It was perfect for anyone who wanted to watch a sunset across the bay or just relax alone with a book. It has 360 degree views and was my favorite place to be. The multiple decks (front and rear) offered more than enough space for everyone to have room to hang out, read, relax, or take a nap. Lots of seating. And the garage and storage closet has all kinds of beach toys, etc. to use. That was much appreciated as well. The one time I needed to get in touch with the owner about an issue that came up, she answered immediately and was able to give me the information I needed in a matter of minutes. Very responsive. The elevator was appreciated for bringing up loads of groceries and luggage, but we didn't use it beyond that. It works great, but you have to be very methodical in the sequence of closing the elevator doors on each floor or it will not operate. It isn't a malfunction, it is just a system of safety features that are designed into it. Overall, we were extremely pleased with both the house as well as the owner and I look forward to coming back again.

Sea of Grace exceeding all expectations

Everything from our intro letter and check in info, to the parking, amenities, and check out instructions were presented and handled with professionalism and customer care. The home itself was amazing in every way, and not a person in our group was disappointed with their stay. The beach access was convenient and the three stairway entrances plus a three floor elevator make all the coming and going a breeze. The bedding and furniture both inside and outside on the many decks were all top notch. The master suite with huge double shower, deck, and bonus lounge area with coffee bar was a pleasure. TVs everywhere with a great lineup of channels and excellent Wi-Fi around the house made it easy to work remotely, catch a game, or even hide out from the crowd and keep up with a favorite show. And, talk about a “hide out”, the quiet, 360 degree views from the cupola were a family favorite. As nice as the rest of the house was, nothing compares to the wide open kitchen and living area with a wall of windows looking out over the deck and unobstructed views of the Gulf waves on the shoreline. It’s a dream kitchen in a dream location with plenty of room for a large group. A great time for all. We are already thinking about our next stay. Thank you Melissa for sharing your wonderful home. Absolutely AWESOME house!!!!

We have a large family with lots of kids and grandkids and this house fit everyone comfortably. Love the room layouts with Kings and bunk beds and the upstairs bunk room was the cutest ever for the 6 kids that slept there. Huge well equipped kitchen with plenty of seating, two sets of washer dryers, generous amount of beach towels. The porches also had lots of room for eating or relaxing. The best part was the gorgeous master bedroom and porch which was our get-away for a respite from the crowd! Early morning coffee and sunrises; beautiful beach views: everything you could need and a great location. Loved everything about this house and owner!!
