About this property

Casa Fiesta sleeps 12-walk to town, 3 min walk to beach. Pool

The name “Casa Fiesta” is given to this house because the house has an extremely large area for entertaining. This house has a wide open floor plan, a gourmet kitchen and high quality appliances. A pool table, flat screen TV’s and video gaming system (X Box, Wi, PlayStation) as well as family board games are available for entertainment. The master bedroom has two queen size beds, large modern walk-in shower and sitting area. Bedroom #2 we call “the brick room” is very unique in that it was the existing house on the property. This adorable bedroom has a palapa roof on the exterior and also has two queen size beds with access to the second bathroom. A circular staircase takes you up to a third bedroom where the Sea of Cortes, and the Sierra La Giganta mountains are visible as well as La Isla De Carmen (Island Del Carmen). This third bedroom has two full size beds and is decorated in beach style motif. Off the kitchen is a huge laundry room with washer and dryer and extra storage area. The rear yard is privately enclosed and has beautiful palm trees and BBQ with nice seating area. We have a newly constructed pool (July, 2021) The pool is shared with guests from our Casita in a common area setting and we will soon be adding and outdoor kitchen/bbq/bar area covered by a palapa!! Disclosure, outdoor security cameras do capture part of the pool and deck area. There is ample signage around property informing of video surveillance. Casa Fiesta has a very unique Spanish décor with art work and custom regional tile throughout. The builder, an electrical contractor from California, designed this house with the highest quality electrical standards including a built in sound system. The front yard was recently landscaped in chic desert scape with lighting. There is plenty of room for parking and a wrought iron and brick gate keeps you secure at night. This house is approximately 3,000 square feet and sleeps 12 people comfortably. All the comforts of home can be found at “Casa Fiesta” including cable television, home telephone and wireless internet. The house is located 1 block from the Sea of Cortez and less than 1 mile from the town center. We have no doubt you will be pleased with your accommodations. We have an 8 passenger Yukon XL available for rent while you are there. It is an additional charge but you can rent by the day so only pay when you use it! We have a full-time property manager available to meet you and show you around town. His name is Raul, he is also a fishing boat Capitan and owns his own Super Panga! Kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, excursions to Isla Del Carmen and Coronado Island, Mision San Javiar or other local tours can be arraigned.
BOAT/RV PARKING INCLUDED

Our Casita is located on our adjacent huge lot (available for larger groups or when the big house is booked). This is a one bedroom one bath home that sleeps 4. It is equipped with everything you need.

Great Place in Loreto

The property manager (Raul) did a over the top job of helping us with request and providing good information on fishing, food shopping and hooking us up with a great cook for our meals in house. We all really had a great stay and looking forward to the next one. And thank you Olga for all of you help

Loreto Life

Olgas place is better than the description. We stayed Tuesday through Saturday in the middle of May. Olga has all the connections from fishing to a personal cook. The A/C works great in every room and the layout of the house is perfect. We were (2) couples with young boys and everyone had plenty of room while also having some privacy. The location is close to town center but far enough to feel as if you are out of the tourist zone. Casa Fiesta is absolutely perfect!!!

our time at casa fiesta

Place was as advertised, Olga the house owner was great to work with, communication via email and text was easy and she always responded quickly. Great open area living space, pool table was good, we couldn't get the music system to work but that's an easy fix. We would have liked more outdoor sitting/hang out areas, would be a good add. Otherwise place is great - it's a 20 minute easy walk to "downtown", close to beach/ocean and tons of gear ready to use at the beach. Overall, it's a great stay in the price range, we'd stay there again for sure. Thanks Olga and family!

Highly recommended. Great property

This will be a two-part review, the first part specifically about casa fiesta and the second part more generally about Lorato. Obviously if you are familiar with Lorato you can ignore the second part I give casa fiesta a full five stars. It's a very large very clean well maintained house. As with any VRBO the supplies in the house can be somewhat eclectic. All I can say is don't buy any more coffee filters. Olga, the owner is super responsive and very helpful as Israel the property manager. I highly recommend renting the van for $40 a day. The walk into downtown is probably 15 minutes but unfortunately you have to go through a dry riverbed which is quite Dusty. The property has a shared pool but we were not able to take advantage of it as it was not quite warm enough. Anyone not familiar with the non super touristy towns will know that there is a interesting collection of homes in every neighborhood, some very upscale and some very basic. Regardless we felt very safe and comfortable the entire time. At the end of the day I highly recommend this property. Laredo The official Old Town of Lorato has a typical Central plaza where most of the restaurants and bars are. I was stunned by how immaculate everything was. We noticed several workers out every morning with brooms and dust pans cleaning up every leaf and scrap. There were some dogs running around but not even the typical annoying number that I've seen in other Mexican cities plus many seem to have callers and all to look quite healthy. However in no way shape or form were they annoying. Lots of good restaurants, grocery stores, banks, car rentals, pretty much everything you need on a vacation. The second part of the area is called Lorato Bay which is a separate very much gringo community. As you drive down the One main Street 90% of the cars have Alberta or British Columbia license plates. This is where the non TPC golf course is. Not surprisingly it could use a little work but has a very interesting layout and overall was pretty well maintained. Running right along the Sea of Cortez it had three or four really beautiful holes. Clubhouse and entrance could be enhanced but if you're there for the golf it's no big deal. There seem to be only two or three restaurants in Lorato Bay. Most of the accommodations there were pretty high-end townhomes. I suspect that there is an act of social scene in the evenings but we didn't stay there so I wasn't able to experience it.

Olga and Kurt Are Great!

For the first few days of our stay, Olga and Kurt were in Loreto and had good advice for us on where to go, what to do and not to do, what days are good for what, etc. They're fun people who really enjoy setting up great stays for visitors to Loreto. When we had a few questions about how to make a few things around the house work, they responded within minutes. The house is spacious and well ventilated. They've got a room full of useful beach stuff like towels, picnic baskets, water jugs, pool floaties, washer & dryer, etc. The restaurant down the street is a lot of fun. Great food and entertainment. Their drinks are really good. Things they recommended to us that we would recommend to you: If you snorkel, definitely go to their guy, Danna, to set up a panga boat rental. Danna and his guys can take you to some truly amazing snorkeling spots on the islands. They took us to Isla Coronados one day, all the way to Isla Danzante another day. The snorkeling at each one was unforgettable. They recommended inviting Betty Boop over to cook dinner for our group one night. We should have done it twice. Betty's food was really good, and the cost was well worth it. Juncalito was the beach they recommended to us. Go there. Seriously.

A wonderful experience at Beautiful Loreto

Walking into the property we were pleasantly surprised to walk into a clean beautiful home. The house is super roomy and spacious and fully equipped with ANYTHING you may need for those staying at the house. The beds were perfectly made, extra blankets available if needed and the kitchen had more gadgets that we even own in our house. Perfect home to entertain, cook up meals, and then wonder out to the Malecon to sight see and buy something yummy to eat. The property manager Yoni is AMAZING and was able to gather enough boats needed for my family to take the day trip to Isla de Coronados, by far my favorite beach in Baja. Overall the house was perfect for my family, a place away from home we called home for three days. 100% recommended!

Great vacation house for our group of 9

Ideal for our large group of 9! Set in a quiet residential neighborhood with great security for your vehicles and possessions. The owner even found a friend who cooked an excellent meal for the group because we were out whale watching for the day. The “house manual” was complete and helpful.

Perfect holiday house

Three families came together to celebrate Christmas in Mexico. We all loved the house! The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items and dishes. Cooking meals was a delight. Plenty of room for us all to mill around and pitch in. The open floor plan and the pool table made for easy mingling. The availability of the van made it convenient to get around. But mostly was walked. The house is an easy walk to town and the beach. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Olga was always so kind and helpful when we contacted her. We felt lucky to find this gem of a home. We will be back someday!

Great House, Great neighborhood

This is a great house for a group. Nice property in a nice secluded neighborhood. The owner is very attentive and the Yani the caretaker is an absolute joy. He will cchase down anything you need or want and is always available on cell to answer questions or make recommendations. You will want for nothing in the huge kitchen, very well stocked with pots, pans, bowls and utensils. Most of all, Lorerto is such a friendly, clean little town with great restaurants and friendly locals.

Great Accommodations for Our Family

Large open space for conversation and game playing fun with beds and bath to meet all our needs. We enjoyed access to beach items from toys for kids to snorkel equipment, as well as towels and ice chests. We also took advantage of the owner's van during our stay to make travel inside Loreto more affordable and convenient. We drove daily to the marina for our beach fun. We felt safe and secure and knew both the owner and property manager were easily accessible and quick to respond to any needs or requests, We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful house & awesome host!

Our family of 5 just returned from a week in Loreto, MX, staying at Casa Fiesta. Our kids are 9, 7 and 2.5 years old and our eldest uses a power wheelchair and a mobility walker. The house is beautiful, spacious and was sparkling clean when we arrived. There's no lip at the doorway inside and largest shower has a seat and second shower head - both are great accessibility features! The host was in contact and was friendly and professional. When we had a minor issue with the house, (a short power outage), she was in touch and working on getting info for us right away. Her house manager is also fantastic. We were able to have him pick us up and drop us off at the airport and the fee is very reasonable. It was really nice to be greeted upon arrival! We did a day trip on his boat with his father as captain, which was really lovely. It was also very convenient to rent the van when we wanted to do little side trips in the area. I highly recommend this house and host, as well as the town of Loreto! I am sure that we'll be back!

Secure, spacious, well-stocked, comfortable house

Our family group of 5 adults and 2 children stayed in Casa Fiesta for a week and 2 adults stayed in the casita. The house is well stocked with everything you would need in a kitchen for cooking. A large dining table seats a crowd plus there is a bar with stools. There is a pool table, kayaks, bicycles, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, snorkeling gear, and toys for kids, games, movies, dart board- so many things we didn't have time to use half of them. Our grandkids had a blast there. Olga was wonderful and so was the property manager. It is walking distance from town and the beach. We had a great vacation there.

Lost (again) in Loreto

After spending many years sampling the local hotels and motels in Loreto with various success we decided to explore renting out a vacation home for our semi annual Lost in Loreto fishing trip. We found Casa Fiesta through HomeAway and it turned out to be the perfect solution. The home is spacious and very well maintained and Olga, the owner, could not have been more gracious and helpful....even going out of her way to ensure the we had transportation arranged from the airport to Casa Fiesta. We also rented the mini van that was available with the property and it was perfect for hauling six fisherman and all of our gear to the marina for each mornings departure and into town in the evenings for dinner and the mandatory margarita (or two). We will be back!!

Excellent House

This is a beautiful home! We had a group of 6 stay for a wonderful week. The house is at the quiet end of the road, with easy beach access, and wonderful neighbours. We walked to a bakery, small store, and bought tortillas and tamales at the front gate. This home is well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked, there are plenty of towels and blankets. We used the bikes, kayaks, records, pool table, dart board, and fast internet.

Kurt and I live in California and this is our vacation home. We would love to share it with you. We discovered the wonderful town of Loreto in the summer of 2015 and just fell in love with it. Update 2024. I finally retired and we are enjoying life. We have added to our ability to accommodate the number of guests we can accommodate with new construction so don’t forget to ask when inquiring about sharing this amazing property with us! Thank you, Olga & Kurt

Why they chose this property

This property is beautiful. its location couldn't be better. You are one block from the Sea of Cortez and less than a mile from the town square and has a beautiful built in pool and bbq area. The neighbor hood is a mix of local family descendants of Loreto, hard working locals and foreigner’s who have also found a little slice of paradise. A great mix, super friendly, clean and safe!! I hold both US and Mexican citizenships and speak fluent Spanish so don’t worry about any language barriers, I am available 24/7 for any needs or questions!!

What makes this property unique

Our property offers it all. From an intimate getaway for a couple to a large family or family reunion. Ideal for groups for fishing! Hosting adventure, off-road and racing tours/groups. The design and layout is very accommodating!!
