“Lightsinger Lakehouse” is a privately owned home located on beautiful Lake Martin. It is furnished with personal touches to make you feel at home and stocked with all the amenities for a comfortable stay. A gentle sloping lot provides easy, safe access to the water. Two covered porches offer relaxing places out of the sun to keep an eye on children in the water. A fire pit is provided for roasting marshmallows and building family memories. This spacious home includes two kitchens, two living areas, four bedrooms and three baths making this a perfect place for two families or separate adults and kids areas.
The house is located on the quieter end of the lake with less boat traffic and better fishing. A private boat ramp, stationary and floating piers with cleats on the seawall and piers make for easy access and care for your personal watercraft or boats.
The property is a 5 minute drive into Alexander City, to grocery stores or Bailey’s Sports Plex. You can easily access HWY 280 for a quick trip to Auburn baseball, graduation or football. Why not relax in a spacious lake house when attending Auburn events instead of overpriced hotel rooms?
We would love to have you enjoy some special “ lake time” in our home. We will make special offers for 2 week or longer rentals especially during the slow seasons.

Outstanding comfort and access

Group of four friends really enjoyed the house. Its large floor paln and access to the water made for a very enjoyable stay. We will be back next year!!

Great Lake getaway

We had a great 4 night stay. It was the perfect layout for a lake house - spacious with lots of beds!!! The dock was awesome and in a beautiful calm cove. We had a total blast and will definitely be back!!!

Lovely and relaxing

We usually go to the beach but choose Lake Martin for a change. It was wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. AND Not a mosquito one the entire time!!!!! Could not believe it....The most rested vacation we have had. Hope to come back.

Great spot on the lake!

Everything was as it was stated in the listing. Susan was great to deal with. Very prompt and helpful answering our questions. This is a large house and there only two of us staying over a long weekend. Loved the fire pit and the view of the lake. Our only issue was the outside, downstairs area was a bit cluttered looking. A great family property on a quiet, convenient cove

This place has so much to offer and really enjoyed our stay. The covered porches were amazing and the house so pleasantly close to the water. The basement suite worked out well for us to be both together and apart. The space, location, and convenience of this location are tough to beat. It just needs a little TLC. Some good deep cleaning and a little updating would make me never want to leave. The kitchen is cramped and could be stocked with more current items. But, the space and place did our family good and we had a great time. Our daughter especially enjoyed the at least daily visit from a family of ducks. We rented a boat nearby and really enjoyed the water. It was a fun getaway.

Beautiful Property

Beautiful home on a gorgeous, wide cove. Owners are very nice people. Exceptional property in that the driveway goes straight down into the lake, so you can launch your boat from the driveway. The basement is awesome with beds, a tv area, a kitchen, and full bathroom so all the teens can stay up late if they want to. We really enjoyed the dock- all the teens loved jumping off into the water. We rented a boat, and it was easy to tie up there. Lake Martin was gorgeous, and the teens had an absolute blast jumping off Chimney Rock and floating around the cove. A storm blew our floats away, and a very nice neighbor caught them and saved them for us. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back! Thank-you!!

Fun Time on Lake Martin

This was our 4th year to stay at Lightsinger Lake House. It is perfect for our family. Our college age grandaughter and her aunt claim the basement. It is great to have a boat launch with a nice pier right there. We always have a wonderful time and the time goes by too fast!
