Located in a desirable central Fox Farm neighborhood you will be within minutes to all local activities including the ski resorts, marina, and Village shops.

Snuggle up together on the cozy couches as you warm your toes together in front of the toasty rock fireplace and pop on a movie on the flat screen Streaming TV. Big open windows enhance your views and provide plenty of natural lighting while knotty pine wall accents and mountain charm make you feel right at home. The open floor plan is airy and perfect for entertaining, leading right into the equipped kitchen and open dining area. You will have everything you need right on site for the chef of your group to prepare home cooked meals and holiday feasts including cookware, stainless appliances, and even a dishwasher to ensure your cleanup is a breeze. Sprawling with two levels of furnished and comfortable spaces for your enjoyment, your group will have easy access to three sleeping quarters and two beautiful bathrooms.

The lower-level primary suite offers a very unique private natural rock bathroom which includes the cutest soaking tub where you can dip and relax after your fun day of adventures out on the mountain. Two additional guest rooms and a convenient hallway bathroom are located upstairs on the second level, each offers balcony deck access where you can sip your coffee in the mornings among the birds. Wrapped in decks and views the exterior of the property sits on a convenient corner lot, offering flat parking and a small, fenced side yard for a safe place to relax, you will love spending time here together. Hop in the car and you are under ten-minutes to local activities including ski resorts, marinas, grocery stores, and dining- this is the ultimate location no matter the season you choose to visit Big Bear!

Frustration and Fun

The property looked like it could use being freshened up. Peeling paint on stairs and general wear and tear. There were absolutely no instructions on how to do things like manage the thermostat (not obvious) or anything else in the house. A washer and dryer were prominently featured in the listing and yet when we arrived they couldn't be found. Eventually the management company came and unlocked them from behind one of the three locked owner's closets-- grudgingly. There were layers of management to negotiate - VRBO, owner, property manager and maybe an additional management company which made things a bit confusing. In the management company's defense they were cooperative when we made a mistake about our checkout day which we appreciated. This house was located in a very nice area and with a rejuvenation would be a nice place to stay. For the nightly rental price it would seem the owner's could make a bit of an investment to update it.

Family-friendly, spacious home In a peaceful neighborhood

Ideal home for a mid-size family with an open, floor plan with a large living room area and connected kitchen and dining area. Kitchen area is clean and bright, however lacks quality pots and pans, but will do for small, simple meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely decorated and well-maintained. Backyard is a fenced forest area with a patio section to sit outside and enjoy coffee while watching squirrels scurry by. Overall, it was very nice home for a family of 5.
