We absolutely loved and enjoyed our stay! Tammie and Danny were very accommodating! They made sure we were okay and comfortable each day we were there. The tour through the mansion and cabin was great! We loved all of the details and stories! We’ll definitely be staying here again! If we bring extra family members we’ll opt for the cabin! This place, and it’s owners, get a two thumbs up for sure!!! Oh, and the homemade cherry cobbler does too!!!
We can’t say enough good things! Our hosts were incredible, the property was perfect, and the homemade cobbler was beyond words. Our stay was for my daughter’s week-long softball tournament, and it still felt like a vacation! We will definitely be back for a girls’ trip!
Awesome place!! We were greeted with a smile and a historical tour. The suite is just as described. We used to property to allow our 1 year old to run and play. When we returned from dinner, we’re welcomed back with a homemade strawberry cobbler. Can’t say enough about the hospitality. Wonderful people and an amazing historical stay.
The owners made everything so easy and the property was perfectly reflected in the listing. They met us when we pulled up to show us to our room and even offered to give us a tour of the house, which of course we took them up on! We loved the history and ambiance of the room and grounds. We will be back!
Beautiful property with history.
The hosts were super nice. I enjoyed learning about the history of the property and watching the deer out the kitchen window as I drank my morning coffee. great place to stay.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful get away along with an atmosphere full of history this is a MUST! Not only is the mansion, cabin and surrounding property beautiful and immaculate, it is exploding with history dating back to the early 1800s as well as the civil war. The clear steam flowing from the spring was a favorite spot of mine. And I can’t fail to mention the apple cobbler Tammy made was out of this world! The host, Tammy and Danny made you feel like family. They went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and memorable. We will definitely be back when time allows!
Spring Haven is as beautiful as it is rich in history. The grounds are inviting and the host was very accommodating! She was easy to communicate with and did all she could to make our stay private and enjoyable. This part of the grounds includes a full kitchen, bathroom, living area, and bedroom. The WiFi worked great and though we were attached to the main house, the door connecting the two was locked and we never felt like our privacy was invaded. There was one issue that we had and that was the mattress. It is fairly firm, and for us it was too hard. Otherwise we couldn’t have been happier! Thanks for everything!
