Nestled high on the cliffs overlooking the Whistler Valley sits The Bluffs at Taluswood. Known for their breathtaking views, high end finishing and convenient ski access. The Bluffs is a perfect home base for a family ski vacation. This single level townhome offers 1 bedroom and Queen sized pull out sofa. Sleeps 4 - best for a family with children or a couple. Offering guests breathtaking mountain views of the Tantulus Range through the large windows off the living and dining areas. The entry foyer on the ground level offers plenty of ski rack space including a boot warmer/dryer. The cozy home features a deluxe kitchen with granite countertops, wood cabinets and very well stocked supplies for cooking meals after an amazing day on the slopes. The dining room seats 6 people comfortably. The living area offers a flat screen television, Shaw Cable, Netflix, gas fireplace, 9 ft ceilings and Queen Sofa bed. The generous sized bathroom has deep, jetted tub/shower with single sink granite vanity and heated floors. The master bedroom with Queen sized bed and generous sized closet. Taluswood #7 also has a free high speed internet, washer/dryer, heated tile floors in the kitchen and bathroom and is very nicely appointed with wooden blinds and wood accents throughout providing a very Whistler Ski Cabin feel. The Bluffs complex also offers guests use of a large common area hot tub with great views, free underground parking onsite and very convenient slope access located directly across the street from the property. Taluswood is truly a unique, on mountain accommodation option that will make for an unforgettable Whistler holiday. BONUS: ski boot dryer/warmer

The Bluffs is a small boutique community in Taluswood. It is ideal for families and people who want to enjoy a quiet mountainside experience. The entire complex is smoke-free.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBOURHOOD: Easy ski out to Creekside new 10 person high-speed gondola. Fast & easy access to the top of Whistler.

TRANSPORTATION
It is possible to stay at The Bluffs without a car. However, there is no transit or complex shuttle. The ski-in and ski-out is ideal. It's an easy cab ride to Creekside or the Village. The road is usually well plowed and sanded in Winter. It is a 3-5 mins drive up the mountain from the highway.

Great Place to Stay!

My husband and I enjoyed our first trip to Whistler staying in this condo! Great location, very quiet and private, and we even saw a coyote run in front of the living room windows one morning! Very clean as well, and heated floors were to die for! Only minor issue was we didn’t realize the ski run back to the condo was as difficult as it was, although conditions were not very good either (steep moguls and sandy snow due to temps in the high 30’s low 40’s). Overall I would definitely recommend this condo and Colleen was awesome!

This is the second time I have rented this property. The quiet, out of the location is great. The property is clean, well stocked and well maintained. The owner communicates promptly and well and is easy to work with. As good as it gets.

Great well-equipped and well-located private place. Perfect location for skiing.

This place is great, away from the crowds but super easy to ski in and out (3 min walk). It has a full kitchen that is well-equipped (including a dishwasher). We cooked all our meals for 10 days, including some baking. Super comfy beds, bright light, indoor garage, new washer/dryer in the unit, heated floor in the kitchen and bathroom, gas fireplace, very private, and very quiet.

Magic

We stayed for our 10 day ski holiday. Colleen was great to deal with and responsive. The location was just what we were after. Peaceful, quiet and good location for ski in and ski out. Hot tub was a favourite after skiing. It was usually just ourselves or another couple and only about 50m walk. The condo was comfortable with good heating and great washing machine and dryer. Clean and tidy and had everything we needed to cook. Ski in and ski out was about 80m walk from the doorstep. Ski out was accessed by Lower Dave Murray or part of Lower Franzs and then cutting across under the Creeksode Gondola. Location was roughly half way between Whistler and Creekside. Would highly recommend this place to others and we hope to visit again one day. Vicki and Steve (Australia)

Awesome cozy property. Great host. Very clean, the heated floors are a game changer. The bed is extremely comfy. The location is so perfect to ski in/out. Would definitely recommend and come back. And the place is much nicer than the photos make it seem.

Just wonderful !

What a great place to stay with my husband, only a short walk to ski run. If your looking for a quiet place away from Whistler Village- this is it ! Very clean and well equipped kitchen . The heated tile floors and a boot drier made our stay very comfortable .

We had a great stay here last weekend. Photos didn't do it justice. Comfortable stay for 4 adults with one room and a comfy sofa bed. 2 minute walk from the unit to the slope where you can ski down to Creekside Gondola.

Great unit, nice location.

The bluffs are just a short walk to the slopes. This location is quite peaceful and beautiful with no hustle and bustle of the village. You do need a car. The owner truly cares about having a nice unit.

Nice owner, good location in Creekside

The location is great. It's only 4-5 minute walk to the Dave Murray downhill on Whistler mountain, so it's easy to ski-in and -out. The owner is also responsive, and easy to work with. The condo is clean, and has a good kitchen for cooking, a washer/dryer, and comfortable bed. There's a boot-dryer in the closet. We rated 3-stars since this was a basement unit, which we didn't know. [The photo's led us to believe that it wasn't in the basement.] And the place is expensive for this kind of unit. The people upstairs were noisy, keeping us awake for 2 nights. The community hot tub is pretty far away. Safety note: A very significant amount of snow had fallen from the roof, so you couldn't see out the windows of the living room. And in fact, there was a mini -avalanche of snow/ice one night, and the snow was 4-5 feet high, piled up *against* the windows of the living room. We were worried that the pressure would break the windows. It's dangerous for anyone to go outside on the deck when snow is melting; there should be a sign warning of potential danger. We let the owner know, and we're hoping that the condo maintenance team will address.

We bought this property as we loved, loved, loved the location! High up in Taluswood nestled among the woods with lots of snow and great views of the Taluswood Mountain Range from the home. It's easy ski/out location makes it the perfect place to just park your car while you enjoy the great outdoors. Creekside is located at the bottom of the hill. You will find great shopping, Starbucks, liquor store, ski rentals, ski gondola and ticket booth. There's a wonderful spa in Creekside at Nita Lake Lodge just voted one of the top 10 spas in the world!

What makes this property unique

SAFETY: The Suite is equipped with smoke and carbon monoxide detector, fire extinguisher, emergency flashlight and a small First Aid Kit. The suite is built with a fire separations and there is a complete fire suppression sprinkler system.
