We really enjoyed our week, the villa has everything you need and we liked the different areas for sitting and dining, lovely pool and view over Kalkan. It was close to the centre, but peaceful as up the hill. Had a great day out on a boat visiting various swimming spots.
Couldn’t recommend this villa enough, it was so private with a huge pool and amazing views over Kalkan! It was a great location only a 10-15 minute walk from the town. Hosts were contactable and very helpful and also helped with our transfers to and from the airport. We would definitely visit again overall an amazing holiday
Amazing villa and great value. Spacious, beautiful pool, lots of bathrooms (!) and the owners replied within seconds to any questions. Totally recommend to families with teens - need strong legs to get up final hill but totally walkable to town and back
This was our second stay in Kalkan. Villa Güzel is a beautiful villa with fantastic facilities and a friendly, efficient management company on hand to meet requirements. The area of is stunning.
The villa is extremely spacious with a choice of eating/seating areas. We spent several evenings of our stay on the larger balcony, enjoying the tranquility and views - we would have liked some more comfortable lounging furniture on the balcony but that is our personal preference.
The outside area is fantastic, with lots of space, in full sun but with plentiful parasols for shade and a great sized pool.
Communication prior to our stay was excellent and any queries answered swiftly.
Thank you Chris and Vicki for a fantastic stay. We would highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Amazing!!!
Absolutely loved villa guzel and Kalkan. The views from the villa are fabulous and the two balconies both look over the mountains and harbour.
Villa is a short walk into old town Kalkan and the harbour, but taxis are also very cheap so we used them when feeling lazy!
The villa is well managed locally with regular cleaning. We loved our daily visit to check everything was ok - it always was.
The pool is a great size and nice a cool (June time). Lots of facilities in the villa and found the owners wonderful to deal with - they made everything so easy and even emailed us whilst we were there to check we were having fun.
Kalkan itself is beautiful. Lots of bars and restaurants - we are in love and already planning a return visit next year.
Thanks again Anne and Len - we'll definitely be back!
This villa was absolutely perfect for our group of 2 family couples plus an 18 year old.
Great communication with the very responsive owners beforehand who helped with many recomends and airport transfers.
Villa is fairly priced for its ammenities and quality.
We had an issue when there which was fixed very promptly by helpful folks. Mid term clean was excellent.
Despite our intentions.... we were only able to navigate the hills into town on a couple of occasions due to heat vs significant steepness and used the services of Hasan the local taxi driver - who was excellent and responsive - to make the short trip into town. Do not let the hills put you off. The view is worth it.
Village in kalkan is gorgeous with many resteraunts selling quality delicious food.
Prices have really shot up in turkey over the last year which we werent prepared for with some very high increases so definately worth checking menus etc before trips as we had looked as 2023 which was not realistic given the country inflation out there.
A brilliant holiday in a superb villa with wonderful caring hosts both in the uk and turkey. Thank you for a great stay Chris and Vicki!
We are a family of six and stayed for three weeks in July/August.
Villa Guzel has a truly magical atmosphere; it is also beautiful, cool and roomy and brilliantly designed inside with separate spiral stair-cases to the upstairs bedrooms, offering everyone peace and privacy.
The view from the villa is utterly breath-taking - we often ate dinner at the upstairs terrace which has a panoramic view of the Taurus Mountains, which are covered in twinkling lights at night.
We saw bats, swallows, dragonflys, butterflies, lizards and turtle-doves.
Huge pool, loads of outside space in either shade or full sun, 5 mins (if that) in a taxi into Kalkan.
Villa Guzel is an incredible place, we loved every minute of our stay there and will cherish the memories (and will return!).
Great stay, owners very helpful and responsive! Definitely recommend.
Villa is close to town and has amazing views

Wonderful villa and superb view
This was our sixth visit to beautiful Kalkan. Villa Guzel certainly did not disappoint, this lovely villa in a perfect location, gave you breathtaking views of Kalkan town. The walk into town was enjoyable and not as steep as some areas, although taxis are always available if you are feeling lazy! The villa itself had a beautiful pool and terrace, two bbq and dining areas, and also a relaxing sofa area for chilling. The upstairs bbq on the bedroom balcony was great for evening dining with the wonderful backdrop of the town at night with all its lights. The inside of the villa had everything you needed and all the bedrooms were very spacious. The cleaning staff visited daily to tidy and make the beds, which was a real treat, and the pool man delivered us fresh warm bread every morning.. What more could you ask for! The restaurants and bars of Kalkan are unique and very friendly, and most are worth a visit, as are the shops and the Thursday market. The boat trips from the picturesque harbour are also a must. Just fabulous. This year we went on Ali's Dream Boat, first class food and service. Looking forward to next year and hopefully return visit to Villa Guzel. Thank you Len and Anne.

A hidden Gem
A fantastic villa in the perfect location. The property was cleaned on a daily basis as was the pool and garden area. Communication with the owner and local manager was first class and we would certainly return and recommend to family and friends. Spoilt for choice in terms of restaurants and bars, our favourite being the Olive Garden.
We were recommended the boat trip organised by Sunset Boats and this was the highlight of the holiday thanks to Captain Yelcinn and first mate Ali.

A very good villa in a lovely town
The villa was excellent. Lovely pool and a very comfortable villa. Cleaned daily and the staff are lovely. Enjoyed the walk in every night. I recommend using the top road to the main road. Other roads are very steep. 10 lira for a taxi back. We managed to get a 6 seater to save getting two taxis. The food in Kalkan is a very good standard. The steaks are better than the UK. Unfortunately the agent let us down with the transport from the airport but we managed to get two taxis very easily. Never had this problem before going to turkey. Will probably organise myself next time. The return flight was very late. We left our cases at the Likya spa hotel and used the beach bar below the hotel. They let us use the showers in the hotel for £10 each. Expensive but they did look after our cases for rhe day and provide the towels.

Lovely Villa in a great location.
We booked this Villa as friends of ours have been visiting over the last 10 years
and on their recommendation we thought we would try it out and it did not disappoint. The Villa is exactly the same as the picture and the layout and facilities are all exactly as described. The location is high up overlooking Kalkan and it is a 15 minute walk into the town. The views of the mountains and sea are very impressive, and the property is well looked after with cleaners coming in every day to make beds and tidy up, which is a treat, and the pool man came by every morning whilst we were sleeping to water the plants and clean around the pool and also came to check all was OK, later in the day. The water sports activities from Aristos at Indigo Beach Club were great . Try out Cinar Restaurant above Mini Bar ( which is also good ) and the Cocktail Bar with the fancy chairs on the front which is great for people watching. I would have no hesitation in recommending this Villa and Kalkan . TheTurkish people and place are great and the food is varied and excellent.. Sometimes it is a bit of a step into the unknown when you book a Villa but you will have no problems and the owners Len and Anne are fab and nothing is too much trouble. Happy Holidays!

Wonderful!
Villa Güzel looked good on the web site and it more than lived up to expectations. What a peaceful location with such lovely views over Kalkan. We liked the nice shaded seated area for reading and sitting under the pergola eating our meals. The pool was very large and our children loved playing on the pool steps. The lounge was very comfortable and the satellite TV great . The WiFi reception was good. We found the Guest Book very useful and the Visitors Book helpful regarding recommended restaurants and particularly the Sunset boat trip which was fantastic. The bedrooms were large light and airy having their own balconies where we often sat and enjoyed a coffee and the views over Kalkan. The upstairs master double had a huge balcony with barbecue and table for six with lovely views over Kalkan .We enjoyed eating there one evening and seeing Kalkan night lights and the sunset but we used the terrace barbecue more frequently. Hakan was helpful and his cleaners and pool man were very likeable and good. It’s about a twelve minute steep downhill walk into Kalkan, we preferred to have a taxi back as they only cost about 15 lira. There were many excellent restaurants and we found the food exceptionally good and particularly enjoyed the Turkish Angora wine . In all we had a lovely holiday in Kalkan at Villa Guzel and would certainly recommend it. Our family are looking forward to returning next year.

Amazing and beautiful!
Wow! We love this villa! We've been with two small children (and 4 adults) 3 times now and would definitely go back! The villa is beautiful both inside and out! The views of kalkan bay are stunning and makes staying in the villa of a night time as much of an event as taking the 10 minute walk down to the town and eating out in one of the many amazing restaurants! The service provided with the villa is second to none. Daily visits from the friendly gardener, pool man and maids allow the villa to be kept clean and in working order continually! Len (the owner) was as always very professional, helpful and informative when dealing with our booking and any questions we had. The journey was made easy with pre booked transfers arranged through Len. We couldn't have wished for a better holiday! From the peace and tranquility of Villa Guzel, to the vibrant and varied traditional and modern restaurants located in the beautiful town of kalkan...so much to choose from and see! Will definitely be back...loved, loved, loved it!

Stunning views
We arrived at the villa in the dark and the next morning we couldn't believe the views. This villa is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos. It is surrounded by flowers and the area is very quiet and relaxing. it was very easy to walk into town form here if you can manage steep hills and a taxi back only cost equivalent of £3.
The villa is extremely spacious inside with 4 bathrooms. The choice of TV channels was massive even including movie channels. The town of Kalkan is lovely with we were told over 300 restaurants, we never had a bad meal. The local people are so friendly and can't do enough for you. All in all this has everything you need for a great holiday I would definitely recommend.

Lovely Villa
We have had a fabulous week in Villa Guzel in the beautiful area of Kalkan. The villa is perfect for couples and families alike. It is well set out inside and outside with a good sized pool. It is well maintained and the villa and pool cleaned daily.
We planned on doing many things while in Turkey but could barely drag ourselves away from the villa to be honest as it has everything you need it was nice to be able to simply relax. However we did venture into town once in a while. A 10 minute stroll down the hill into town we visited the market and had a boat trip both we'll worth it. We didn't have a bad meal but stand out restaurants were Mussakka, Gourmet & Salt and Pepper. The shops were a joy , handbags galore. What did impress me in the town was there was no pressure as we walked through considering restaurants and browsing menus- no one trying to drag us in.
Villa Guzel is exactly as described and set in a lovely area surrounded by similar traditional styled villas but not overlooked. From booking the villa to our return flight home everything went well as the owner Len was so helpful and made it very easy for us. This was our 1st time in Turkey and we do plan on returning to Kalkan and Villa Guzel.

Lovely well located spacious villa
We had an amazing honeymoon in Villa Guzel, the perfect ending to our wedding celebrations. The villa more than lived up to our expectations; it was immaculate, well-located, secluded and so spacious that the 2 of us often lost each other! Two lovely balconies for watching the sunrise and sunset over breakfast or an evening bottle of wine, a short walk to bustling Kalkan with its 300 restaurants and shops providing good quality handbags and clothing – of course we had to go shopping!
We were well looked after by Hakan, the agent, and Martin who cleaned the pool daily; the villa was also cleaned by discreet cleaners every day. Len, the owner was very helpful from the booking to the prompt return of the deposit.
We would thoroughly recommend this villa as it a slow amble to the town – often accompanied by friendly dogs who escort you to the next dog patrol – amazing! We even saw a tortoise on our climb down the secret steps.
Like many others who visit Turkey we have fallen in love with the Turkish cuisine and were spoilt for choice by the romantic restaurants with roof top terraces (Olive Garden) or the Turkish style seating on the floor (Belgins), together with our favourite kebab restaurants which were very good value (Hunkars).
We visited the legendary Patara beach (why did we go all the way to Cuba last year when this was nearer?) and left the words “Just Married” all over the sandy beach, made by our flip flops, a wedding present from friends. We would like to return one day with our “Still Married” flip flops!
I was in tears when I left as it had been such a beautiful holiday.

About the host
Hosted by Vicki Penrose
Villa Guzel is owned by three siblings who have a lifelong love of Türkiye and Kalkan in particular. Having all visited the country for many years, Victoria, David and Tim made the decision to purchase the stunning Villa Güzel to give their growing families somewhere truly special to come together and spend time just enjoying each other's company as an escape from the fast-paced world. With the siblings living around the world from Norwich to Malaysia, Villa Güzel has been a chance for their families to build lasting memories and experiences together. We hope your families will feel the same.
Why they chose this property
Villa Güzel has its own charm and individuality with its cream stonework, tower and large pool. The tower spiral staircase separates the bedrooms to give guests a feeling that guests are not on top of each other, and their separate balconies are a bonus. The terrace sections provide a pergola to enjoy meals outside and a seating area where one can sit in the shade, use the BBQ, rustle up a feast or of course lay on the sunbeds and soak up the sun all day. The views of course are wonderful overlooking Kalkan Bay and the Taurus mountains.
What makes this property unique
We chose the property because it enjoys a good position over looking the bay, The design is individual, along wiith the other seven on the site and buillt to a very high standard by the most reputable of builders Aslan who owns the Likya Hotel and many others. We particularly liked the size of the pool as it is huge and great for swimming
